The atmosphere in the Empyrean Hall was tense and suffocating, like the silent tenseness before a great battle.

A murderous aura rolled off Silas in waves as his gaze fell on Sebastian once again. "Do you still dare to challenge me? This is your last chance to change your mind!"

"Hmph!" Sebastian scoffed, his gaze defiant. "Using numbers to scare me? What a joke! If numbers were all it took, none of the Tremendous Five would bother with the Abyssal Dominion—we’ve got numbers too. But why do you think we still tread carefully? Hah! It’s way too soon to decide who’s losing today! Enough with the chatter. If it’s a fight you want, then bring it on!"

"Alright then!" Silas growled, his voice cold and resolute. He shifted his gaze to the squad leader, who had been waiting for his order. "Take down his men—and drag Sebastian Aldridge to me alive!"

"Understood!" the squad leader acknowledged. Then, facing his team, he bellowed, his voice echoing off the walls. "You heard Mr. Langford—elimina

Silas' body shook with grief as he took in the corpse of the guard who had just spoken, and swept his gaze across the scene–over the crushed, broken bodies of his men. His chest tightened, immense sorrow consuming him.All of his men were—gone! None had been spared, none had it easy. Not a single one! Some had shattered legs, others had their cultivation destroyed. A few had passed out from internal injuries while the rest... the rest were crushed to death without mercy! There wasn’t a single complete body among them and the dead outnumbered the living. Even for someone like him, strong and composed, the sight was too much. Tears welled up and streamed down his cheeks, his body trembling uncontrollably.Consumed with fury, he lifted his head and glared at Sebastian’s men. His fists balled up, his knuckles white, eyes red, as red as a blazing fire. Even if it was the last thing he did, he would make sure he took them down, serving justice to those still alive and revenge to those dead

"Hmph!" In the face of Sebastian's fury and provocative words, Silas merely snorted and snapped coldly, "Who I choose to host in the Empyrean Hall is none of your business. And if, after everything you’ve seen, you still think Master Ramsey is a nobody, then you’re even more brainless than I thought. No wonder you get along so well with those arrogant clowns—birds of the same feather flock together, after all.”“You—” Sebastian started angrily. But Silas cut him off without a care. “Enough. I’ve heard enough trash from you since you barged in. I’m not interested in listening to any more nonsense.” Without sparing him another glance, he turned and bowed respectfully to Robin. “Master Ramsey, do I have your permission?"There was a beat of silence, then Robin replied with a calm, cutting tone, “You do.”Sebastian had killed his way in and interrupted his meal. It would be an insult if he didn't pay for his actions! The moment those words fell, a sharp glint flashed in Silas' eyes. “Than

As the door crashed into the table, it trembled violently from the impact, dishes clattering and food spilling everywhere—some of it nearly landing on Robin. “Silas Langford! You said if I had the guts, I should come find you. Well, here I am!” Sebastian’s voice boomed as he strode into the room, flanked by Sarah and Marcus.Trailing closely behind them were two towering men, over 6 foot tall and built like tanks, their presence alone radiating a deadly pressure. From the energy they emitted, it was obvious—they were martial artists. One of them was likely the one who had sent the door flying. The entire hall froze in shock. The orchestra ceased. The dancers froze mid-motion.All eyes turned to the unexpected intruders, filled with disbelief. This was the Empyrean Hall—how could they just barge in like this?Did they not fear Silas? Or worse, Master Ramsey?Meanwhile, Sarah and Marcus, upon entering, froze in place. Their eyes darted about in awe. They’d never imagined a place like

Meanwhile, Silas turned back to Robin. “This way, Master Ramsey,” he said, gesturing with a slight bow.Robin didn’t respond, merely following him in silence. To his surprise, Silas didn’t lead him through the main entrance but rather took a discreet route through a back door and down a hidden corridor. Robin couldn’t help but raise a brow in quiet approval. Even after everything, Silas remained composed and tactful. He hadn’t allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment, remembering his identity was supposed to be kept as a close guarded secret.Robin’s guarded demeanor loosened slightly. In that moment, unknowing to Silas, he earned a sliver of Robin's respect. As they walked, Silas retrieved his phone and issued a flurry of swift commands. No matter what, The Empyrean Hall hadn't been used since its creation, so some things needed to be put in place. Additionally, he needed to arrange certain things to suit Robin alone. He just wanted everything to be perfect for Master Ramsey!A s

Marcus shook with rage. “Fine then!” he growled, jabbing the screen with such force it was a wonder the phone didn’t shatter. The line rang just once before Sebastian picked up, as if he’d been waitingBefore Marcus could even speak, Sebastian's cold and furious voice rang out from the other end, “Marcus, what’s taking you so damn long? I’ve been here for minutes! Are you trying to mess with me?”“N-No, of course not,” Marcus replied quickly. He shot Silas a glare before staring back down at the phone. His expression was dark, almost as if he wanted to breathe fire as he explained everything that happened, and how they were being denied entry by Silas. And then, with a bitter edge to his voice, he finished, “...and then he said, ‘And if Sebastian has a problem with it, then he can get lost too!’”There was a moment of silence before Sebastian exploded. “He really said that?" he barked. one could clearly hear the rage in his voice.“Yes, Mr. Aldridge!” Sarah shouted from the backgrou

The doorman was dumbstruck by Robin’s words. Indeed, he had asked him if he was sure he wanted to send him away, if he was certain he wouldn't regret his actions, and he had arrogantly dismissed him, telling him to get lost. A wave of regret crushed over him, tears of dispair streaming down his face like a fountain. If only he could turn back time. If only! Unfortunately, wishes weren't horses and life didn’t deal in “ifs.” “Guards! Get these wastrels out of my sight!” Silas barked. At his command, five guards rushed forward, swiftly seized the doorman and the others, and dragged them away. The doorman and the guards kept begging, but Silas didn’t spare them a glance. Once the noise faded, he turned to Robin, his gaze lowered. "Master Ramsey, did I handle things to your satisfaction?” Robin gave a cold, dismissive nod. “You did alright. But if anything like this happens again, you’ll be out. No third chance!" Silas stiffened and nodded quickly. “Understood, Master Ramsey.

It felt like a bomb had gone off in the hearts of Marcus, Sarah, the doorman, and the guards, leaving them stunned and rooted to the spot. There was no way—absolutely no way—that Silas Langford had come running because of Robin. That couldn’t be possible. Robin was nothing but a washed-up nobody from the countryside. A stray dog, at best. Silas Langford, on the other hand, was the esteemed manager of Shangri-La, a man of status and influence. They couldn’t accept it. But since when did reality care about what they could or couldn’t believe? Right in front of their very eyes, Silas came to a skidding stop at the grand entrance, panting heavily as though he’d just sprinted the entire building. His eyes darted around the group. "Who is Robin Ramsey?" BOOM! This question was like another bomb. Everyone froze in sheer disbelief. He knew Robin? He really came running because of the pauper? What the hell was going on? Was the world suddenly fantastical? "I am," Robin said coolly

RUMBLE! Right after Sarah finished her insult, Robin’s stomach suddenly let out a loud, thunderous growl—as if a stomachquake had erupted from deep within. His face flushed in embarrassment. Damn it. He was starving! “Haha! Even your stomach agrees it’s time to eat scraps!” Sarah mocked, nearly in tears from laughter. She waved him off toward the trash. “What are you waiting for? Go on! Shoo!” She was practically giddy at the idea of watching him dig through garbage. But Robin didn’t so much as glance her way. Instead, he pulled out his phone and sent a text to Katherine, asking for the manager’s number. "Texting your sugar mama, huh?" Marcus cackled. “I knew it. You’re completely useless without her. A shameless toy boy. Unfortunately, she can't help you this time! Hahaha." He couldn't hide how smug he felt. He grinned wide, full of confidence, as if he’d just won something. Hah! Katherine had always been helping Robin, now, this one time, she wouldn't be able to. He j
