SONIA'S POV

My father stared at me for several seconds before finally letting out a tired sigh. He could clearly see how frustrated I was, but instead of arguing with me, he leaned forward and spoke in a calmer voice.

"Sonia, please calm down," he said gently. "You need to understand that we're not thinking small, and we're certainly not trying to give up on everything we've worked for. We're simply trying to be realistic about the situation we're facing."

I remained silent for a moment, starin

SONIA'S POVI sat quietly on the porch in front of the mansion with my parents, but my mind was nowhere near the conversation we were having. There was a time when I believed I had made the best decision of my life by divorcing Leonard. But now, everything had changed. My father sat beside me with his hands resting on his knees. He looked older than he had looked a few days ago. The confidence that usually filled his face was no longer there. After remaining silent for several seconds, he finally turned toward me and spoke in a serious voice.“Sonia, there is something you need to understand,” he said, his expression becoming firm. “Even though we have all realized that we underestimated the wrong man, we cannot pretend that certain decisions have not already been made.”I slowly turned my head toward him and looked at his face.“What decision are you talking about?” I asked. My father sighed before answering. “You already know what I mean. We have decided that you will marry Greg

LEONARD'S POV “You're right, Ava,” I said calmly. “I am Henry Blake of Cardinia.”The confirmation made her eyes widen again. I continued looking at her seriously. “But if I'm going to allow you to leave here with this memory, then you have to promise me something.”Ava immediately became serious. She stepped closer and nodded without hesitation. “I'll promise you whatever you want, Boss. Just tell me what you need me to do.”I studied her expression for a moment before explaining what I expected from her. “Unless I personally decide to reveal my identity to the world, not a single word about this can leave your mouth. You cannot tell anyone that Leonard Storm is Henry Blake of Cardinia. You cannot tell your friends, your family, your colleagues, or anyone else you trust.”Ava nodded slowly as she listened.I then added, “And if it's possible, don't even speak about it carelessly in your thoughts. The less attention you give this secret, the safer it will be.”Ava swallowed hard. S

  • CHAPTER 214

LEONARD'S POVI sighed heavily and rubbed my forehead before speaking. “Ava, the reason I have kept all of this hidden is because I have always preferred to live this way. People here in Denark know me as Leonard Storm, but they don't know what I am truly capable of. I would rather keep it that way.”My voice was calm, but there was seriousness behind every word. I knew that revealing my abilities to Ava had already changed things, but I still wanted her to understand why I had spent so much time protecting my identity.Ava frowned slightly as she listened to me. Her expression showed that she understood some of what I was saying, but there was still something that didn't make sense to her. “But, Mr storm, you aren't exactly living a low-profile life,” she pointed out, her voice filled with confusion. “You're a billionaire. Almost everyone in Denark knows how wealthy you are. You're already famous. How can you say you want to remain hidden when people already know who you are?”I s

  • CHAPTER 213

LEONARD'S POVBefore any of the men could take another step, Leonard raised his hand slightly. His expression remained completely calm, but the atmosphere around him suddenly became heavy. Then, with a simple snap of his fingers, he released the force holding the bullets in place.Whoosh!Every bullet that had been suspended in the air suddenly shot backward at tremendous speed. They retraced their paths with terrifying accuracy and slammed into the bodies of the four armed men.The men barely had time to react. Their eyes widened as the bullets struck them, sending them stumbling backward. One after another, they collapsed onto the road, their weapons falling from their hands.Ava stared at the scene in complete disbelief. Her hands trembled as she looked at the men lying on the ground and then slowly turned her attention toward Leonard.“This must be a dream,” she whispered, her voice shaking with disbelief.Susan stood several feet away, equally stunned. She had already witnessed L

  • CHAPTER 212

LEONARD'S POVI, however, remained completely calm.I looked directly at the man standing beside Ava and spoke in a controlled voice."This doesn't have to end in violence."My words caused the man to raise his eyebrows.I continued, keeping my eyes fixed on him. "All I want is for you to give Ava back to me. If you do that now, you and your men can leave without any consequences. There is no reason for anyone else to get hurt."For a brief moment, the man stared at me as though he could not believe what he had just heard. Then a loud laugh escaped his mouth. He turned toward his four men and shook his head mockingly."Did you hear that?" he asked with a grin, his voice filled with amusement. "Look at who is talking about consequences."The four guards immediately laughed with him.One of them even lowered his weapon slightly as he laughed, apparently finding my warning ridiculous. The boss turned back toward me with a cruel smile."You're standing in front of four armed men, and you'

  • CHAPTER 211

LEONARD'S POVThe approaching vehicle continued moving toward us, its headlights becoming brighter as it drew closer. Two other vehicles followed closely behind it, forming a small convoy.Susan and I stepped out from the side of the road and positioned myself directly in the path of the approaching vehicle. The driver immediately noticed me.His eyes widened, and he quickly pressed the brakes. The tires made a brief scraping sound against the road before the vehicle came to a complete stop only a short distance away from me. The driver stared through the windscreen with obvious confusion, trying to understand why someone would deliberately stand in the middle of the road at that hour.He then glanced toward the side and noticed Susan standing several steps away from me. The driver's expression became even more suspicious."Sir, there are two people blocking the road," he said, turning his head slightly toward the passenger area before looking back at me. His voice filled with cautio
