The teachers nearby rushed forward to stop them after seeing how hard the two slaps landed.

Even the sound alone could make one feel the soreness.

"Now do you know why I hit you?" Andrew Wilson roared,

"As a role model, you don't know how to educate your students properly. You even used such brutal force on a five-year-old child who knows nothing. Look at the injuries on his body!"

The other teachers helped her up.

The teacher covered half of her face with her right hand and said grievously, "I didn't do it. I was just a substitute teacher who had just arrived. It was Nathan, the supervisor of the Academic Affairs Office, who did it. I have nothing to do with it."

"Nathan, the supervisor?" Andrew Wilson frowned and said,

"Why would a supervisor have a problem with a child?"

"I don't know. On the first day that Ryan Wilson came here, Nathan the supervisor of the Academic Affairs Office, called me over and asked me to be stricter with this child. He didn't tell me the reason," the teacher explained hastily, afraid of getting another slap if she didn't answer quickly enough.

Could it be that this matter really had nothing to do with this guardian teacher? Andrew Wilson still didn't believe that this teacher was completely unaware.

"So, according to what you said, the scars on Ryan Wilson's body were not caused by you?"

"Yes, as a new teacher, I don't have the courage to do that. The scars on his body were caused by Nathan, the supervisor of the Academic Affairs Office."

As soon as these words came out, the other teachers around were shocked.

They didn't expect this teacher to speak like this because they all dared not offend Nathan, the supervisor.

Nathan had a lot of authority when he spoke, and they would rather offend the principal than make him unhappy.

"Okay, I got it. The two slaps just now were a lesson for you. As a guardian teacher, you did not fulfill your responsibilities. You were completely unaware of the serious injuries on the child's body. I hope you can be a good teacher in the future."

"Nathan, the supervisor!!! "

Andrew Wilson muttered to himself.

"Smack!"

With a loud sound, Andrew Wilson slapped the table, and the table leg broke and collapsed in front of everyone.

The people present stared at the scene with their mouths open, and the teacher who was slapped suddenly became alert.

If that slap had landed on her, she would have either died or spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair from the concussion.

Upon seeing this, a thin female teacher took a slow step forward and timidly asked, "Can you help us with something?"

Help?

Hearing this, Andrew Wilson turned his head and looked at the female teacher who couldn't even raise her head, and asked, "You educate students like this, and you want me to help you? Do you think that's possible?"

"You should trust Ryan Wilson's guardian teacher. She doesn't want this either. It's just that the head of the education department, Supervisor Nathan, is pressuring us to do things we don't want to do, and even using this to force us to do even more outrageous things," the teacher's voice suddenly choked up.

"Yes, Supervisor Nathan is always like this."

"The substitute teacher for Ryan Wilson has just arrived. The previous one left because Supervisor Nathan harassed her. So you must teach Supervisor Nathan a lesson for us." Other teachers quickly nodded in agreement.

Andrew Wilson glanced at the teacher who had just been slapped twice by him, standing there calmly and said, "Okay, I promise you. Indeed, as you said, I won't let him off just for bullying Ryan Wilson."

"Where is Supervisor Nathan now?"

"He's not in school. He clocks in and leaves during work hours, and he comes back to clock out at 5 pm. You can't see him in person all day."

"Isn't anyone controlling him?"

"Who dares to provoke him? His father is the dean of education, and even the principal greets him with respect."

"Okay, I got it. Remember to notify me in the clinic at 5 pm." After speaking, Andrew Wilson turned and walked towards the door.

A few minutes later, Andrew Wilson arrived at the school clinic and lifted Ryan Wilson's clothes, revealing bruises of purple and blue.

It deeply pierced his heart and ignited a raging anger within him.

He took out his phone and dialed a number he hadn't contacted in a long time.

After the call was connected, Andrew Wilson lowered his voice and said, "Do you know who l am?"

On the other end of the phone, there was a moment of silence before the voice said, "You're Mr. Andrew, why have you come back?"

"Do I need to report to you when I come back?"

"No, no, no, how could I dare to ask about Mr. Andrew's whereabouts? I spoke out of turn. It's just that I haven't followed you for a long time and forgot my manners."

"Alright, I'm currently at the Bright Mind's Kindergarten School in Los Angeles City. I want to take care of someone here who has a certain status in the area."

"Understood."

After speaking, Andrew Wilson hung up the phone and picked up the alcohol that the doctor had handed him, gently rubbing it on Ryan's body.

In the military compound, Robert White was perplexed by this matter.

When did a nobleman like him become so hesitant? Even if it was to take care of one person, let alone ten or even a hundred, it would be a piece of cake.

Forget it, don't think too much about it. Since the king has returned, it's better to go and pay respects early.

At the entrance to the Crown Hotel, Camila stumbled out, clutching the railing.

Her eyes were hazy as she looked around, feeling a numbness in her brain.

"Mr. Joe, can we sign the contract now? This cooperation will be very beneficial for you, and your family will look up to you if you sign it."

A middle-aged man in his forties followed her out and lit a cigar, taking a deep breath as he looked Camila up and down.

"Camila, this contract is worth a lot. If you sign it, your family will definitely be impressed. No matter who signs this project, it will be of great value to them. Of course, I would prefer to work with you."

A gust of wind blew, and Camila's cheeks became even redder from the alcohol.

She had a unique charm.

Camila smiled and said, "Since Mr. Joe is so confident in this cooperation and is willing to help me, let's sign the contract now."

"Hey, things shouldn't progress so quickly. When things go too smoothly, people tend to take them for granted," Joe exhaled a puff of smoke and flashed a wicked smile.

Camila's face changed, she pursed her lips and forced a smile. "We've had dinner and drinks, Mr. Joe. I don't understand why you still won't sign this Contract." Joe burst out laughing.

"Whether or not we sign this contract is entirely up to you, not me."

"What do you mean?" Camila asked.

"What do you think?" Joe replied.

Before Camila could react, Joe reached out and wrapped his arm around her slender waist.

"We can sign the contract as early as tomorrow morning." The close contact, coupled with the smell of smoke, made Camila feel sick.

She instinctively took a step back and pushed away Joe's wandering hand. "Mr. Joe, please respect yourself. I am not that kind of person."

Joe's face changed dramatically, and he angrily threw away his cigarette.

"Camila, let me be clear. There are many people who want to sign this contract with me. If you don't accompany me tonight, I won't sign this contract with you. You should know the importance of this contract to you. Whether or not you can return to your family depends on your decision tonight."

Camila's face turned pale, and the redness on her cheeks disappeared.

She understood that this was her family's last hope for her. If she couldn't secure this contract, she would never be able to return to her family and would have to find a new path in life.

She would no longer have any relationship with the Smith family.

She looked up at the sky, tears welling up in her eyes.

Joe saw this scene and immediately comforted her, "I know you are raising your child alone, and the father has never taken responsibility. It's not easy for you, and you are constantly being neglected at home. If you didn't sign this contract, you would be kicked out and lose all your sources of income." Camila remained silent.

Joe quickly added, "If you agree to accompany me today, I will take care of all your expenses in the future, and I am willing to support your child until they are grown up and independent."

After speaking, Joe put his hand on Camila's shoulder. If she remained silent for five seconds without dodging, he would have hugged her and satisfied his evil desires.

As for his promise to take care of her and her child's expenses, that was something for the future, and no one could predict the future.

Joe was secretly pleased with himself.

However, what Joe didn't expect was that before his hand could touch Camila's shoulder, she took a step back and clearly showed resistance.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Joe, l'm not that kind of person." After speaking, she walked to the side of the road, hailed a taxi, and left Joe alone at the hotel entrance.

Looking at Camila's departing figure, all of Joe's plans were ruined.

He cursed, "What are you pretending to be so high and mighty for? One day, you will kneel in front of me and beg for my forgiveness."

In the taxi, Camila couldn't hold back her tears any longer.

The tears fell like a dam bursting. She wasn't crying because of Joe's harassment, but because of his words about her fatherless child.

After all this time, have you really disappeared, or have you forgotten about me?

Tears continued to fall as she looked out the window at the tall buildings.

She murmured, "When will you come back? I really can't hold on anymore."

Three people got into a car and headed towards the Smith family company. "Maybe we shouldn't go," Camila leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder, her face full of anxiety. "My grandfather and father hate you to the bone. I'm afraid something will happen if you go. Besides, they want me to get married next Monday. If you suddenly appear, I don't know how they will treat you." Andrew Wilson smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry. Since I dare to go with you to see them, I am prepared. You can take a nap if you didn't sleep well last night. I'll wake you up when we get there." He lightly brushed Camila's nose as he spoke. "Annoying," Camila said shyly. "Our child is here too, be careful." "Mama, I want to touch your nose too," Little Ryan suddenly said. "Why is your face turning red?" "That's because your mother feels very hot right now," Andrew Wilson laughed. After a sleepless night and mental exhaustion, the mother and son leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder and lap a

Outside the university town, Andrew Wilson was sound asleep in a hotel room when a phone call came in. "Who is it?" Andrew Wilson complained without curiosity. "It's me, Dad, Ryan Wilson." Andrew immediately woke up and sat up. "Ryan, what's wrong? Didn't you go to school today?" "No, Dad. Can you come here? I'm so scared. Grandpa just came and bullied Mom. He wanted Mom to get married, but Mom refused. Grandpa scolded her and there were four fierce uncles standing at the door, not letting us out. I want to go out and play with Mom." "I know. l'll be right there." After hanging up the phone, Andrew Wilson wondered if he had really misunderstood Camila. Maybe what scorpion said was right. Sometimes what he saw and heard with his own eyes and ears might not be true. He thought back to last night and realized that he had only complained about Camila and hadn't given her a chance to explain before leaving. Andrew Wilson picked up the phone and called Robert White. "M

In the conference room of the Smith family, both sides were at a stalemate and the situation was getting out of hand. "James Smith, is this how you educate your children?" Ethan glanced at James and said, "I can overlook what happened before, but this time, there can be no mistakes in the marriage between Camila and the second son of our family." "Considering the sudden proposal from the Anderson family, it is convenient for business dealings between our companies, and for Camila, she has found a reliable home. It's a win-win situation." Sitting silently on the side, James' couldn't help but nod and smile, "Yes, I will definitely persuade Camila." "Yes, big brother, you must persuade Camila. It's not easy for her to raise a child alone. It's time to find a partner." "Camila, don't hesitate anymore. The second son of the Anderson family has a wealthy family. You won't lose out by marrying him." Looking at the ridicule of her relatives around her, Camila was completely dis

In the education office of Los Angeles city, an old man sat behind his desk. After hearing the news report, he slammed his hand on the table and picked up the phone to make a call. "Hello, is this Director Brown?" "Yes, what is it?" Director Brown replied impatiently. He had stayed up all night dealing with the annoying reporters from the Apex Entertainment Club incident and now he was receiving yet another phone call. "You really have a lot of important people to forget about, Director Brown," said Williams Thompson, the director of the education office, in a low voice.

After leaving the Smith family's courtyard, Andrew Wilson hailed a taxi and got in. "Driver, to the University City," Andrew Wilson blurted out. "Okay." As for why Andrew Wilson was going to the University City, even he himself was confused. Outside the window, the buildings flashed by floor by floor. In the night of Los Angeles , the lights were dazzling, and the city was much quieter than during the day. His phone rang in his pocket. "Master Andrew, I have safely escorted Teacher Evelyn home. Where are you now? I'll come pick you up immediately," Robert White said respectfully on the other end of the phone. "No need, you can go back. l'll take a walk by myself," Andrew Wilson said softly. Robert White didn't dare to ask any more questions. He knew very well that Andrew Wilson, as a nobleman, would be considered as stalking him if anyone asked about his whereabouts. In the land of California, only one person could inquire about his whereabouts, and that was th

  • CHAPTER 5

"What am I going to do? I hope I didn't blind myself by hitting my eye just now," Nathan, the supervisor, said with a hint of despair as he watched Andrew Wilson approach him. "Don't forget that we live in a society governed by the rule of law. If you kill me, you will also be sentenced," he continued. "In a society governed by the rule of law? You still know that it's a society governed by the rule of law," Andrew Wilson rebuked. "You've done so many unethical things in school, drugging and seducing female teachers, leaving your post without permission, and losing your moral compass. You don't deserve to live." "Even if I were to be sentenced to death, it wouldn't be up to you to decide. It would have to go through the judicial department, and you can't take the law into your own hands," Nathan hurriedly explained. Upon hearing this, Andrew Wilson's lips curled into a smile as he said, "Do you recognize this?" He took out a token from his waist, on which was carved a
