The moment the scalpel pierced the man's chest, he made a loud gasping noise and it was then that everyone in the room realized what Leo had done.
"Oh my God! What have you done?!" the lead doctor asked in pure despair and terror. The bodyguard who hadn't noticed Leo earlier suddenly tackled him to the ground and locked him in a chokehold. He began to tighten the chokehold on Leo's neck with a single motive- murder.Luckily for Leo, the young Miss quickly intervened before the guard could squeeze the life out of him."Wait, don't kill him yet," she said as she towered over them on the floor.Once she noticed that the guard's chokehold had loosened, she bent down and slapped Leo across the face.WHACK!Turning to the doctors, she said, "Someone please take out that scalpel before he dies."The doctors had been hesitant to remove the scalpel because they didn't want to complicate the old man's condition any further. When Leo noticed that the doctors wanted to remove the scalpel, he yelled at them, "his condition will only worsen if you remove that scalpel. If you want him to live, you better listen to me."His words struck indecision into the hearts of the doctors and they stood rooted at the spot, not knowing whether to obey their mistress or the strange man. At that point, it was already obvious that the man's convulsion was reducing drastically- and they knew that it was because of the scalpel. When the young Miss noticed that they weren't doing anything, she yelled louder, "Do something please! Save him!"Tears filled her eyes as she watched the doctors stand still without doing anything while her grandfather trembled on the bed. "What are you guys doing? Do something! Please!"She looked at the lead doctor but he avoided her gaze and continued checking other vital signs."What the hell is wrong with you?" She yelled in anger and pushed him aside, "move! let me do it myself."Just as the young Miss was about to pull the scalpel out, her grandfather opened his mouth and coughed out a mouthful of blood that splattered everywhere and on everyone. The sight of blood sent chills down the young miss' spine and she began to scream uncontrollably in panic. "Oh my God! He's going to die! He's going to die! Someone please call Mr Greg now!"One of the doctors quickly ran out of the room to call Mr Greg while the young Miss fell to the ground in devastation."No! No! He can't die now! What am i going to do if he dies? no...." she lamented as she threw away her composure as the young miss and rolled on the floor in grief and despair."Unbelievable..." One of the doctors said and she looked up to see that the flatliner had stopped beeping."Is this real? How is this possible?" the young miss asked no one in particular as she watched her grandfather's pulse return to normal. His face also began to flush and the pale complexion that it had was slowly replaced by a healthy one which showed that blood had begun to circulate properly in his body."Wow..." everyone in the room except Leo was awestruck by the sudden recovery of the old man."You can take the scalpel out now," Leo struggled to say from the chokehold that the guard used to hold him captive. After witnessing what had just transpired, the doctors no longer needed any reason to doubt him. They quickly pulled the scalpel out and to their greatest surprise, it was only a little blood that came out of the cut.The doctors quickly proceeded to dress and close the wound to prevent further blood loss.'What happened today completely goes against everything that i've learnt in medical school. it's just impossible.' the lead doctor thought to himself as he worked."Can i leave now?" Leo asked the young Miss with a bored expression on his face. It was obvious that he didn't want to be there anymore. She nodded somberly at the guard and he forcefully let go of Leo.Leo rubbed his sore neck and arms gingerly and without a word to anyone, he began to walk out of the room."Hey."the young miss called him when he was a few feet away from the door and he paused without turning around."Don't think that you're just going to walk away scot free after stabbing a scalpel into my grandfather's chest. If anything bad happens to him, i'm coming for your head."Leo shook his head gently and walked out without replying.A few minutes after Leo left, the old man woke up and everyone in the treatment room burst into celebration with happy and fulfilled smiles on their faces.Surprisingly, the only person in the room who wasn't smiling was the young Miss and that was because of the words that were coming out of her grandfather's mouth."Leonardo Dubois..." he said weakly, "where is Leonardo Dubois?"

Leo and Kyrian stood with to their hands handcuffed to each other before the large portrait of Sarah Jensen previously Sarah Homer in the living room of her expansive oceanside mansion. He was surprised at how homely the building looked as it was all warm colors and bright decor which was in very sharp contrast with his own home which was mostly black and white furniture and filled with technology. The only gadget in sight in the living room was the large TV and he couldn't spot a single security camera around. He loved the way the home felt secure and welcoming and he was sure that even though Helen said nothing about it, she was worried by the lack of privacy in their own home. Sarah, Kyrian's daughter sat in her baby's nursery desperately trying to shush her from her screaming. She had already fed her twice but the child just kept on wailing at the top of her lungs. She had fired the baby's nanny a few days ago after she found out that she was having an affair with her husband. She had kicked him out of the house too and he had slept on the front porch for three nights in a row knocking and screaming and begging her to let him in. She promised to call the police each time his noise woke her up. It was probably the wedding contract she had made him sign before they got married that made him so desperate to win her back. He had signed away thirty to forty five percent of his business empire if they were ever to get divorced depending on the length of the marriage, currently she was eligible to take up to thirty nine percent of all he had without even lifting a finger. The affair had began from the night she hired the nanny and she didn't even know until she

Kyrian groaned as he got off the helicopter. At his age he didn't enjoy sitting in the sticky helicopter seats any longer. Kyrian asked while responding curtly to the greeting."Right this way sir, just follow me" the guard said and began to lead the way to where the cars were parked. Gordon wiped his brow, the steam from the pots blurring his vision. The clatter of plates filled the small kitchen of St. Jude's Orphanage, a rhythmic echo of lives lived in shadows. He had just finished scrubbing a particularly stubborn pan when the sharp whistle pierced the air, cutting through the dull mood of the evening routine. Instinctively, he froze, the scrub brush still in his hand, unsure what was happening.“Come on, Gordon! We need to hurry!” shouted his roommate, Ethan, bursting through the door with a wild look in his eyes.“What....What’s going on?” Gordon asked, his heart pounding as he dropped the brush and followed Ethan into the hallway. The other boys were already racing past them down the hallway , they were laughter and shouts a mixture of excitement and anxiety which left Gordon more perplexed .“It’s a billionaire!” Ethan exclaimed, his voice barely above a whisper, yet it crackled with energy. “He’s coming to adopt a kid from the orphanage. They say he’s go
