Elvis saw the way Harry's shoulder was vibrating in anger. His hands were also clenched into a fist, but Elvis was not moved.
He didn't put much meaning into everything. He thought it was all a joke. But no, it wasn't. Harry was annoyed that a lowlife like Elvis could empty his plate on him. He had never felt so humiliated all his life, but with that one swift move from Elvis, he was covered with humiliation from head to toe. The students pulled away from him after noticing his anger. He was not satisfied; he felt that they must be jesting him in their hearts, which he hated so much. "What do you think you're doing?!" "Do you know who he is?!" Camila shouted at Elvis. She had her hands clenched into a fist, she was looking like she could hit Elvis for Harry. "It was all your fault. You treated me that way because you knew I couldn't hit you. You're a girl." "But you should know that if you treat me so badly, I can treat the surrounding person badly on your behalf," Elvis stated what was going on in his mind when he humiliated Harry instead of Camila, who wronged him. He seemed to have a good point; he only chose the wrong person. Harry, with his face clenched in anger, raised two of his fingers, and immediately, two guards appeared before him. They were hefty, and their muscles were strong. These two men had undergone hard training, and a punch from each of them could physically break someone as slim as Elvis forever. Harry didn't mind the danger of what he wanted to do; he was too angry to think of any danger, and he knew that if there were to be any danger, he would get out of it. His family was rich as well, even richer than Moore. "Boss." The guards acknowledged Harry and bowed to him. "Hit that guy til he loses consciousness." He commanded them, pointing at Elvis. Elvis's heart skipped a bit after hearing that command. He subconsciously took a step backwards to stare up at both guards. "I did nothing wrong," he tried to say, before one took a step closer to him. "Stay back!" Elvis warned them frightfully and hurriedly picked up a fork to protect himself. Even with the fork in his hand, he looked like a toddler before the guards. "I said stay back, else, I will hurt you with this fork!" He warned them again. Camila laughed mockingly at him. She was enjoying the show, and she couldn't wait for the guards to stop wasting time and beat her husband til he lost his breath. She couldn't wait to be single again so that she could propose to Harry and marry him. She never wanted to let Harry go. "Hey, stop the hide and seek, and deal with him already." She snapped at the guards. That got the guards seriously. One of them immediately slapped the fork away from Elvis's grip while the other grabbed his collar. Elvis was raised from the floor with one hand til he began to dangle in the air. "Help!" "Help me!" He began to yelp, and he didn't even want to imagine the multiple wounds he would sustain if he landed on the floor from that hard grab. Sammy was just standing there, he didn't know what to do. Even if he called his mum to save Elvis, it would be too late before she would return with the men. Elvis must have been beaten to a pulp by then. Suddenly, a group of guards appeared and stood behind Elvis, who was lifted, "Let him down." One of the new guards told the guard holding Elvis. Harry moved closer to the new group, "Leave here immediately, you're not wanted here." "But you are manhandling one of our masters. Do you still think we should leave?" Harry's brows furrowed, "Your master? Who are you?" "We are from the Klein family. If you know what's best for you, you will command your guards to drop our master gently back to his feet." Harry was not convinced, "What will people from the Klein be doing in New York City? They should only talk and reign in Venice." That was when Sammy could talk. He said, "Hey, watch it. I'm one of the people with Klein, and I came from Venice as well. So if you want to talk, try to be clear. Also, your family is not from New York either.'' "What are you doing here, then?" Harry had no other choice but to let Elvis go, "Drop him." He told his guards. Elvis was lowered back to his feet and his hands grabbed his neck to ease the pain he was feeling from it. The guard held him so hard that he almost couldn't breathe. Sammy ran to him, "Are you okay?" Elvis nodded, "Yes, I'm a little breathless. But I'm okay." They both stood up and faced Harry, "You're shameless. A fellow student offended you and, like a child you are, you called upon your daddy." "You had better thank your star today." "If not that your guards showed up, then by now, you would have been silenced," Harry said back to them. He dusted the food, which was still on him, away from his body, before he got ready to leave. "Don't think you are safe, because I am doing nothing to you today. Don't worry, another day is coming when you will be taught a lesson. That day, I will make sure that your guards will not be around to save you." After the words spoken by Harry, he stomped off, carrying the dust of his shoes with him. Camila turned to Elvis, "Daddy is hearing about this." "Don't worry, I won't lie too much about what you did," she told Elvis before walking away from the restaurant as well. Elvis was very relieved when she left. Though he knew that he was in trouble when he got home, he tried to think out of it. He turned to the guards, "Thanks for showing up, guys." "We are only doing our job, young master. We'll leave right now but do call unto us if anything arises again. We will have our eyes on you, anyway." "Before you go, is there a way I can have a change of clothing? I can't go about my activities with my white stained." "We will get you another pair, young master." Elvis fished out the card from his pocket and gave it to the one who seemed to be leading the others. "Use it, in case you need the money to buy it." The guard nodded and took the card from him, "We will be right back." Elvis nodded to them and they left. He sat back in his seat, with Sammy returning to his seat as well. "You seem very free with the guards, like you knew them from somewhere before," Sammy said to Elvis. "I don't. I'm just seeing them for the first time in my life today." "But they respect you differently; they didn't even pay any attention to me nor acknowledge my presence. It is like you are the one they swore their loyalty to." Elvis shook his head, "No, you're just seeing it that way. Your mum must have told them about me. She works for the Klein, after all." Sammy bowed his head and thought, 'Should I tell Elvis that my mum is just a maid and that she has no serious deal with Klein? Will he judge? Will he tell everyone about it? Will he lead bullies to me for we're not that wealthy?" "But Elvis doesn't look like someone that could hurt me or my mum," he argued with himself, "He wouldn't treat me differently because of that, right?" Elvis noticed that Sammy was warring within himself, so he tapped his arm, "Are you okay?" Sammy raised his head and stared at Elvis seriously, "There's something I have to tell you." Elvis gently nodded and beckoned for him to go on. "My mum cannot send guards here to protect you, she can't even send them to protect me." Elvis put his hand under his chin and he relaxed his face on the hand. "Why do you think that way? Is she not from the Klein?" Sammy dropped his voice to a whisper, "My mum is not one of the Klein. She is just a maid in Klein's house, and she has no control over anybody in the house, not even the guards." Elvis understood exactly what Sammy was driving out. He wanted him to know that they were not that wealthy to bring in guards. Then, who brought the guards? Elvis knew if the conversation was going that way, then he would not be able to hide his identity any longer. He knew he had to do something. "Are you sure your mum has no right over the guards?" "Why not call her to confirm it?" Elvis pressed on. "I know what I'm talking about, Elvis. My mum is not treated right in the mansion, she is always looked down upon. She is sometimes used as an extra worker. "You can see how tired she always is every time she returns home." "But she couldn't leave the job." "She needs the name to give me a good life," Sammy spoke with a heavy heart. He hated the fact that Mrs Adams did the hard job and endured the difficulties because of him. "I can imagine her stress," Elvis said in a bit to console Sammy. "What kind of job do you wish for your mum to have?" Sammy's eyes beamed when he thought of one: "A job in Klein's company, where she will do nothing other than paperwork. Then, we won't have a reason to lie anymore that she works in the company, as she will." Elvis nodded to him, "Don't worry, your mum will work in the company before the month runs out. Trust me." Sammy laughed; he thought of Elvis as a clown. "You're one funny guy. My mum hadn't even joined the company before. How will her credentials get to the president's table? Or is it possible for her to be employed without the papers?" Elvis shrugged, "Who knows?" Sammy was not convinced. He thought that Elvis was just saying things without deep reasoning, so he just let him be. The guards returned with a shopping bag, "Everything you need is in there, young master." Elvis nodded and collected the bag from them. They returned the card to him as well before they left again. "Where do you think I can change from this dirty clothing?" Elvis asked Sammy. "The gents. Come, I'll take you there." They left the restaurant and headed for the male restroom. There, Elvis changed his clothes; both a pair of trousers and a shirt. Soon, he was looking neat again. He dumped the previous clothes into the trashcan before leaving with Sammy. They went and sat under a tree that was very close to their faculty building. They were waiting for the time for the next class. "Who is that guy with Camila?" Elvis asked Sammy, "Everyone seems to know him," he added. "That guy is Harry; he is the heir of Heather's group. You must have heard of them." Elvis shook his head, "I don't think so; the name sounds strange in my ears." "Heather is the fourth-wealthiest man in the world. They are richer than Moore, and that must be why your wife was clinging to him like a second skin. They must be dating." "I don't want to remember that, so don't say more about it." Sammy nodded, "Sorry." Elvis nodded and returned to the discussion about Harry. "What do you think he will do now that he was embarrassed by me?" "I don't know, though. According to what I heard about him, they said if the school says nothing serious about the incident, then he might overlook the culprit, but if the school does, then he will want to revenge." "How will you know if the school is saying something about it?" Elvis asked Sammy again. "It will be on the school blog. Let me check it for you, though I think you're not safe. The eyes students have been casting on you have not been so good." "Are you sure? I think everyone just likes me." Sammy chortled. "You know nothing, Elvis. Wait until I check out your fate on the blog." Elvis nodded and stared at Sammy expectantly. Suddenly, after Sammy had checked through the blog, he busted into a laugh. "Why are you laughing? Does that mean I'm safe?" Sammy shook his head, "Where do you want to be buried, man? Church or grave center? Because right now, as I'm seeing it, you're cooked!"Latest Chapter
SOULFUL WORDS AND AMBUSH.
SOULFUL WORDS AND AMBUSH.Everything had returned to normal for Vince and Sammy, and they seemed to be even closer than they were, except that they were more than 2000 kilometers apart. There was not a day that went by without them calling each other, burning their data on video calls to take and eat together.Sometimes, Sammy Vince would attend Sammy's house classes with him, and Sammy would do the same. After each class, they grew a habit of teasing the lecturers and mimicking the funny ones all day long. Not long ago, Vince graduated from business school, and Sammy attended through a video call. Sammy's own would be coming on soon, and both guys were waiting impatiently for that day. Why?Vince had promised Sammy that he would be there with him. He was done with schooling for now, and what he was waiting for to get his full freedom from Mrs Klein was the last trip Mrs Klein made him to promise, therefore, he had told Sammy that he would be going for a business trip with Mrs Klein,
ALIVE AGAIN.
ALIVE AGAIN.Sammy took the phone from the therapist and fell to the floor to talk to Vince. He was all smiles that his lips were in their widest range, yet, Sammy was not tired of the smile. He never knew that he was smiling that much."Vince, hey." He said into the phone."Sammy, I was hearing your laughs. Are you okay?" Vince's words were laced with worry. A lot of worries that was dripping and had filled the floor."I was surprised you messaged me, I thought your mum didn't want you to.""Turns out you're not my mum's best friend, you're mine."Sammy's lips widened in an impossible wideness, both edges of his lips were almost touching his eyes."I knew you could not just abandon me here.""Never. You are the only one who knows me and still stays by my side." Vince said to Sammy."I couldn't leave," Sammy replied to him. They talked some more before the door of the room burst open, and Mrs Adams ran in. "Sammy." She called when she stepped in.When she saw her son and that he was o
AN UNCOMMON DRUG TO BE USED.
AN UNCOMMON DRUG TO BE USED.Sammy was in the room with two people, a man and a woman. They were therapists who had come to help him recover. The woman was sitting down on Sammy's dressing chair, and the man was standing beside the door. Sammy was sitting in his bed. His hands were firmly gripping his phone as though he wanted to snap it off, his gaze locked on the process of the phone, but his mind was so far away from the surroundings of the room."Do you want us to talk downstairs for easier convenience?" The woman asked Sammy, but he remained as he was."Then, I'll assume you're comfortable like this." She stated. She got hold of the edge of the chair she was sitting on and pulled the chair closer to Sammy.Sammy was not aware of the closure, "Hey." That was the word that got Sammy's attention. He jolted away, farther into the bed so abruptly, as if he was burned by her closeness."Relax, I will not hurt you." She assured him, but did not attempt to move her chair forward again.S
VINCE CALLED.
VINCE CALLED.It all felt like something that could happen immediately— Sammy's sickness. Mrs Adams thought that if she could be saying Vince's name every time to her son, he would want to heal faster, but it didn't work that way.Every time she used Vince's name, Sammy would react to it, but when he realised that there was no Vince around, he would crawl back into his shell. A shallower shell he had built for himself.Sammy had been discharged from the hospital with a standby nurse with him to take care of him and always bring him to his therapy. He could walk— very slowly, and could do a lot of things by himself, but even after months of it, he said nothing to anyone. It was like his voice was gone. That was not it, he found no reason to talk, and he had been indoors.Mrs Adams was dressed for work. She headed to Sammy's room and knocked on the door. "Son, are you in?"Not like Sammy would go anywhere. She was answered by the silence across the house. She sighed and opened the door.
ONLY VINCE'S NAME COULD HEAL HIM.
ONLY VINCE'S NAME COULD HEAL HIM.Mrs Adams knew for one that for the doctor to request an audience with her, something terrible must be happening to her son, but she went. Her sweaty hands were holding the hems of her top when she was moving forward. Her legs wobbled behind her, and her head felt heavy from thinking of everything possible that might be going on.She dreaded meeting with the doctor so much. The knock she left on the door of the doctor's office when she got there was such a weak one, and hearing it by the doctor was a mystery."Come in, Mrs." The doctor answered from inside.Mrs Adams took her time before she opened the door. Before that, she had put on a feigned calm look, perfectly hiding her fright under a wide smile."Doctor, you called for me." She said to the doctor as soon as she entered into the space for the office."Please," He gestured towards a seat before him. She sat down."Is there any problem, doc?""Ahem," He cleared his throat, "Your son might be wors
THERE IS NO VINCE HERE.
THERE IS NO VINCE HERE.Everything was happening so fast, and Mrs Adams began to work under no supervision. She was still trying to reach out to Mrs Klein and Vince, but was unable to do so.She got to work today without visiting Sammy first in the hospital, and bumped into Clinton who was going out with a hot girl by his side. Unlike the punk way he dressed the first time Mrs Adams met him, he was dressed in a black suit. He had no tie locked around his neck, and a few of his white shirt's buttons were undone. He had one of his hands holding the hand of the girl beside him, and the other hand was trapped inside his pants pocket."Oh, Mrs Adams, you're just the woman I want to see.""Good morning, Mr Clinton. You are looking good."He rolled his eyes at her, "I'm always looking good, but I don't do older women."Mrs Adams's eyes popped out of their sockets when she put meaning into what he was saying, "I never...""Sh!" He hushed her, "Now, listen up, Mrs Klein called me, and she said
