Nicolas went ahead to laugh at her stupidity. He brought out his cell phone from his pocket revealing the text message of debit from the bank and pasted it right on her face.
"If you need more proof that I purchased it." He finally added, getting her even more confused than she was already.
Nicolas went ahead towards her and said. "Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean other people can't." She finally said.
Her face was washed up with shame, wishing that she could bury herself right in the dust of the head.
As the sudden professionals of photography in the place took coverage of her face.
Her boss turned over to Nicolas with a sorry look on his face and he finally went ahead to apologize.
For the first time, he finally noticed the sleek texture of the card, unlike anything that he had ever felt before.
Random thoughts ran through his mind as to who this broke-looking but rich kid that was standing right before him could be.
But he didn't dare to spit out another word of inquiry from his mouth, not after what had already transpired in the hall.
"I'm sorry for everything that has happened and I promise that I am especially going to look into this case myself." The manager's voice was laced with so much respect as he spoke.
But Nicolas firmly ignored his words as he went ahead to say.
"Can I get what I purchased already?" There was an indifferent expression hovering on his face.
"Yes sir. I will get this package myself." He replied, turning suddenly towards Evelyn with a stiff smile on his face, making her shiver.
"I am going to call the security team to get me the coverage of what happened. I swear that I am going to make you pay if this was all your fault in the first place."
Evelyn's face broke out in cold sweat knowing that she was going to get into a whole lot of trouble if the manager got a hold of the coverage.
She wanted to speak but he was already walking away, as he brought out his cell phone from his pocket to make a call, making Evelyn shiver even harder with so much fear around her guts.
Soon the manager returned with the cell phone all packaged in a very exclusive taste.
Soon, a group of men dressed in security uniforms made their way into the place towards the manager.
Getting over to him, they bowed slightly, pushing a tab towards his direction.
"This is the coverage that you asked for sir." They replied, making Evelyn's feet freeze on the spot right where she was standing.
The manager took the tab swiftly from them and his eyes scanned through the evidence that laid before him with a thick frown hovering on his face.
"I can't believe this." He muttered at irregular intervals and after a while, he paused, turning over to Evelyn with a deadly glare hovering on his face.
"Do you realize what you have done? Do you realize that everyone watched you lie that he was a thief when he did no such thing and that only could discredit the company?" He was gradually blowing off with so much anger
The only thing that Evelyn could do was shiver, as she tried to make out words but nothing was forthcoming.
"I'm sorry sir. I don't know what came over me." He pleaded but there was not a single sign on the manager's face that she was going to be forgiven.
Even with her eyes already flooding with tears, she went ahead to sir.
"You will be sorry for what you have done." He growled under his breath and turned over to the security officers.
"Order her out of this place. Since she isn't ready to respect customers, she isn't fit to work here." He finally decided.
The words struck her like lightning bolts and for a while, she was transfixed in her stare. Evelyn knows how difficult it was to get a job In the city already. And with a bad report to her name, it was going to be close to impossible.
"Please, sir." She continued pleading but all her pleading fell on deaf ears.
"Take her away." Those Were the only words that the manager muttered.
[ Ding: Host gradually running out of time ] The system resounded in Nicolas's heart.
He knew that he had to leave there as soon as possible.
Nicola's head made a sudden spin throughout the hall and caught the attention of a poor man with a child in his arms.
He walked gradually towards the man and handed it over to him. "For you sir." He said.
The stranger could not believe the words as he went ahead to appreciate Nicolas. Everyone was stunned but as they stared at him with awe, he made his way gradually out of the hall.
He could still see his friends waiting for him at the far end and he went ahead to meet them.
"Great acting you pulled off over there so that we will think that you are doing something important there." They burst out in mocking laughter.
But in a calm state, Nicolas raised the package and their jaws dropped.
