Chapter 5 Briefing... Suspicions.

“… Recovery is still on the way, currently 70% locally and 25 around the world.” Ending the briefing was one of the secretary, present as a hologram, which stood before the panel.

“The damages are in the billions. With such a mess it was hard to hide from the public, at leasts the respective head of states were quick to cover it up.”

“The public is suspicious, the though of an organization big enough to do such damage across the world. The fear is palpable.”

“That’s the job they have to deal with, calming the people.”

“Also, how is the search…?” As one of the heads.

“Stalled due to lack of personnels. We’ve have found a few. Heavily injured have been taken to the healers for care, though it would take quite some time to recovered. Deceased are still being recovered, on average one per day.” Reported the one to my side from the tablet.

“… Too slow, we can’t keep it like this. The longer we delay, when bodies start to pop up everywhere panic will spread and eyes will turn to us.”
