Incredible Actor Nicholas Shane

The Plot

"Get that bastard!" Kim Orme ordered his boys yelling. 

Nicholas quickly hopped on his bicycle and cycled fast; he had gone to the main road before the men caught up with him. 

But they couldn't hurt him as people were watching. 

He got home, and fell to his knees crying "Why?, oh my dear Camella, why?" He beats himself on his chest sobbing seriously. 

Camella had been his only family since he lost his parents years ago. His only sibling, his sister was sold and he has no idea where she is, is she even alive? 

The pain was unbearable to him and that wicked boss of his. He got up and checked his pocket if he still had the envelope or had lost it while running. He brought out a brown envelope that contained cash. Nicholas's surprise for Camella was this. 

"It's still here" He breathed a sigh of relief. 

Camella badly needed money for her grandmother's surgery, Nicholas had to borrow money from loan sharks and cheating is all his reward for his effort. He tossed the envelope on the chair, and went into the room annoyed "I'm breaking up with her" He said. 

He brought his box from the top of the wardrobe and packed his clothes, footwear, and all his things inside. Nicholas had nothing so packing was easier. 

Frustrated, he wrote a note wishing her Good luck, placing the envelope on top of the note. 

On his way out, Camella came inside and saw Nicholas with a traveling box. 

"Are you leaving?" She asked. 

"Yes" 

"Haha" Camella laughed. Nicholas had nowhere to go, why was he leaving? 

"What's funny?" He asked with a frown. 

"Nothing," She said, leaving the way for him to go. 

Camella expected him to apologize or stay like he did before. But Nicholas left without looking back. 

Camella was scared "He truly left?" She ran outside, looking for him. 

She eventually saw him walking toward the bus stop, dragging his box behind him. 

"Nicholas," She called out. 

Nicholas stopped hearing her voice. She ran to him and hugged him from behind. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" She pleaded. 

Nicholas shut his eyes and took a deep breath. "It's okay," He said about going but Camella stopped him. 

"Nicholas I love you" 

Nicholas nodded his head "Clearly you did"  

"I'm serious, I'm so sorry, I did it for you, for us," She said, hugging him tightly. 

"quit lying" 

"I'm not baby, I told you I needed money for grandma's surgery" 

"So?"  

"He promised to help, I had no choice," Camella explained.

"I told you I would take care of it right? Why did you go to him?" He shouted at her. 

Camella felt scared. "I just had to, I don't want to inconvenience you. He also promised to give you a leading role in an upcoming movie. I did it for us dear"  

"I don't believe you," He said angrily. 

"Why? Please do" Camella broke down in tears".I said I'm sorry. I don't want Grandma to die, I had to. Those things I said earlier, I didn't mean them, I only said them to win his favor"  

One thing Nicholas couldn't tolerate was Camella's tears, he hated it when she cried. He slowly turned to her, wiping her tears. 

Seeing she got Nicholas's attention, She cried more. 

"I didn't mean to hurt you, please forgive me. I love you, I can't live without you" Nicholas placed her head on his chest. 

"It's okay, I understand you, I'm sorry I put you through all this," He said, patting her. 

"I got the money, I borrowed it from a private loan shark, I told you I would help you. So why? You don't have to use your body to that useless jerk"

"I know, I'm sorry but baby you borrowed again? why?. anyway let's go home," Camella said, collecting his's box from him. 

"Okay, let's go home"  

"Thanks for forgiving me" She kissed him on his lips. 

"I believe we all make mistakes, you did it for grandma's surgery. I love you, so I will let it go. But don't let it repeat itself, okay?" 

"Okay baby" Camella smiled. 

Together they went back home, Nicholas took his box to the room to arrange his clothes back to the wardrobe while Camella remained in the sitting room. 

She sighed " I can't believe he is so dumb to take me back, I just have to convince him to delete the pictures," She thought smiling. 

"Darling, come help me to fix this.." Nicholas called out from the room. 

"Okay, I'm coming!" Camella rolled her eyes in disgust. He disgusts her so much. She brightened up immediately when she entered the room. 

 As a lover boy, Nicholas believed her and forgave her not knowing there was more to her begging, an evil motive behind it. 

He went back to bring a simpleton, He showered Camella with more gifts, love, and attention. 

King Orme hated him more, same as Camella who is still with him because of the pictures Nicholas took of her in bed with his boss. 

She tried persuading him to delete the pictures but he refused. Nicholas is being treated worse than before in his workplace but he didn't give up. 

Tired of pretending and lying to him, Camella and Kim Orme plotted to get rid of him. Kim Orme called Nicholas into his office. 

"You called for me?" Nicholas asked his boss when he entered. 

"Yes, Sit " Kim Orme offered him a seat. He handed a script to Nicholas "Take a look" He said to him. 

"What's this?" Nicholas asked, he went through the script. 

Another movie coming up, Did he give me a role? What role?, probably one of the extras or a day role. 

He sighed, and gave the file back to Kim Orme, rejecting it. 

After all, they will blame him if the movie flops. 

"What's wrong? Have you gone through it, what do you say about the storyline?" Kim Orme said looking directly into his eyes. 

"I think it's great," Nicholas shrugged. 

"Good, I want you to take the male leading role. You will definitely play the character well" 

Nicholas was surprised his boss gave him a leading role. This is his first leading role in years! 

He took the script from the table, and went through it again. 

"The movie is The Missing Heir of the Logan Dynasty. About an orphan hated by all. He lived a poor, rough life. 

The ML has a girlfriend who is from a middle-class family.  

Fl family dislikes Ml, I hope you read it there?" Kim Orme asked, explaining. 

"Yes," Nicholas answered. He brightened up in excitement. 

"Good, Ml discovered an atrocity by the Fl family. They planned on killing him little did they know that Ml was the lost heir of the Logan dynasty; The most powerful and influential conglomerate in Manila. 

Ml had a first love who is a rich classy lady, she is the supporting Fl. She is from another powerful family but not like Ml." 

"So you are going to act useless, miserable in the first arc. You will need to show signs of weakness, endure humiliation, and all that. You can do that right?" Kim Orme asked. 

"Of course, that's nothing" 

Kim Orme nodded his head "With time, your identity will be revealed and that's when the real drama starts. You have more enemies and a lot of fake people around you" 

"What about Fl?" He asked. 

"Fl is Ml's last love while supporting Fl is Ml's first love. And you know the saying, men don't forget their first love?" Kim Orme giggled. 

"Battle between two ladies, of course supporting Fl has a higher hand, she gets things going her way but she wants the money, fame, and power. She doesn't love Ml" 

"Mhm," Nicholas thought for a while. 

"And Fl?" 

"She has a bad past with Ml, remember when he was a nobody, she and her family maltreated him" 

"Then Ml has no true love," Nicholas stated. 

"Calm down, Fl regretted all she did, she truly loves him but Ml finds it hard to forgive and trust her. He thinks she is after his money, after all, she only showed up when his identity was revealed." 

"Complicated, who is acting the FL role?" Nicholas was curious to know if she was an actress he could work with. Some actresses are rather sassy and proud, he wants to avoid those ones. 

"Beatrice," Kim Orme replied. 

"It wasn't easy to get her on the role because she is so booked for other movie roles" 

"I see," Nicholas smiled. 

Beatrice is a kind-hearted actress, she won't be a problem. She is a popular, and beautiful actress, acting with her is more like a privilege. 

If they have good chemistry in the movie, her fans will become his fans. Beatrice's social media account has 4.7 million followers while he has 8 thousand followers. If one million followers from Beatrice follow him, it will be a jackpot! 

Nicholas clapped his hands together "Great" 

Kim Orme notices Nicholas's excitement. 

*what a fool, look at him smiling, of course, it's his first male leading role. * Kim Orme thought, shaking his head. 

"What about the supporting female lead, Who is she?" 

"Sophia Xandro". 

"What ,Sophia Xandro? Sophia!!" Nicholas trembled. 

"Yes, the movie goddess," Kim Orme smiled. 

"This movie will definitely be a hit with these two actresses." 

" And Of course with you" 

Nicholas' smile dropped. Sophia was a very beautiful and famous actress. She won the Most Beautiful Woman in the World coming as number three on the list, she has lots of hits to her name, a huge fan base, and a social media account with 20 million followers! and lots of awards. 

But she is sassy and arrogant, the last time they were on a project, he was her driver in the movie. Sophia insulted him on a daily basis, she mocked his appearance, and acting skills and told him that he would never make it in acting. 

She is carefree and doesn't care about people's feelings as long as she isn't hurt. 

In conclusion, it was a nightmare working with Sophia. Now he has to act with her as the protagonist, where she will be his first love? 

What if she slaps him if he tries to kiss her, what if she kicks him if he hugs her, what if she..., what if,? 

"Can't the actress be changed?" Nicholas asked, worried. 

"Nope, you should be grateful you are featuring with those actresses, they will definitely lift your career" Kim Orme replied. 

"You are dismissed,script reading is scheduled on Sunday, 9 am sharp. Don't be late." 

"Okay, thank you" Nicholas lowered his head in appreciation and left. 

He left the office to the restroom where he danced his heart out. 

"It feels good, I can't wait to tell Camella" He adjusted his clothes looking at the mirror. 

Nicholas left the restroom and went to the cafeteria. He saw someone like Camella, but he wasn't sure because he didn't see the person's face. 

"This lady's back physique is Camella's own," He thought. 

But what will she be doing here?

"It's not my fiance," He laughed the thought away.
