"Excuse me, Sirs." Jace bowed his head and quickly dismissed himself. Fear stroke down every damn corner of his body.

He walked till the end of the hall where all the controllers could not have access to him. He looked in the direction where his father was and they did eye contact. He brought his hands together and started begging his father in distance. This plead was for him not to reveal to Mayor Lamenz that he was his son.

His father kept a contorted face but there was nothing he could do. He just changed his direction and served himself another drink.
