“She is over here!” Emilia Williams said opening a door that led to the intensive care unit.

“How long has she been like this?” Jack Adams asked.

“For some weeks now, she has been having this seizure.”

“Lord Williams, let's not forget the part where Doctor Carlos was the one who made her worse than she was before.” Clarke Williams said as he walked in.

“Good day, Mr Jack Adams.”

“Good day, Clarke Williams…”

“Can you really help my grandmother get better?”

“I will try my best, but I can't make any promises, I believe I can help her get better.”

“Please do we are all counting on you.” Emilia Williams said, her voice laced with hope.

“I will be needing some of all the herbs and spices on this list.”

Jack sat on the edge of his bed, eyes still glued to the news broadcast as the grainy footage of Crime Boss Wayne being swarmed by reporters played on repeat. The scene outside the airport terminal was chaotic. Cameramen shoved against one another, jostling for a better shot while bodyguards tried desperately to form a wall between their furious boss and the clamoring press.Reporters shouted questions, their voices overlapping like a crashing wave of confusion:“Boss Wayne, what do you have to say about your son’s arrest?”“Are the rumors true that you flew in to demand his release?”“Sir, did you know about your son's involvement in the Blue Heavens massacre?”Wayne didn’t say a word. His jaw was clenched so tightly that a vein in his temple throbbed. He moved like a storm cloaked in a tailored suit, his heavy black overcoat flowing behind him like smoke. Two of his bodyguards shoved aside the nearest reporters, nearly knocking a cameraman over as Wayne stormed toward a waiting lim

Inside the black SUV, Lord Leo sat behind the wheel, his grip on the steering slowly loosening as the chaos behind them began to settle. Beside him, Jack leaned his head against the window, breathing out softly, while Justin Bradley sat in the back seat, slouched, his eyes hollow from everything that had happened. From their vantage point atop a hill across the Wayne Mansion, they watched the flurry of police cars, flashing lights, and media vans swarm the property like flies to a carcass.Lord Leo glanced at Justin through the rearview mirror. “You alright back there?” He asked in a low voice.Justin slowly lifted his gaze and nodded weakly. “Yeah… I’m alright.” He said, though his voice didn’t carry conviction. He stared through the tinted glass at the mansion below. “Nike… he was just doing all this to make his father proud. He’s not this… monster. Not deep down. I know it.”Jack turned around in his seat and locked eyes with Justin. “As much as I hate to say this.” He bega

Sweat beaded across everyone's brows as they scanned each corner and hallway. The tension hung in the air like fog.Suddenly, Nike Wayne’s voice boomed through the mansion’s speaker system, low and taunting.“You’re all going to die in here.”Everyone froze at a spot. The commander turned his head, his voice tight with rage. “How do you intend to do that, Wayne?”Nike’s mocking laugh echoed. “Oh, Commander... haven’t you figured it out yet? This isn’t just a mansion. It’s a cathedral of chaos,a building filled with booby traps. And guess what? I’ve already activated them.”Jack took a step forward, shouting toward the walls. “You don’t have to do this, Nike. Just give yourself up!”But Nike replied, dripping with sarcasm. “Didn’t I already tell you? Giving up isn’t an option.”Lord Leo, trying to reason with him, added.“Ther

In Jack's dream…Jack was sinking, his fingers reached out in the murky, dark water, stretching for the silhouettes of his family seated around the dinner table. One by one, they rose silently from their seats and began to walk away, their backs turned to him. Jack's voice cracked as he called after them, the words muffled and lost beneath the rushing sound of the water that was now filling the room. Plates, silverware, and glasses floated past him like forgotten memories. He tried to follow, swimming toward them with desperation churning in his chest. But they kept going, further and further. Then, a pale hand burst through the surface, grabbing his arm, yanking him upwards. In the Present…A cold splash of water hit Jack full in the face.He gasped violently, jerking upright with a cough. The tension was thick, each man lost in his own thoughts, eyes focused on the looming Wayne mansion up ahead.Suddenly, Lord Leo leaned forward and reached beneath the passenger seat, pulling out a heavy black case. The metallic latches clicked open, and inside were two Desert Eagle pistols, polished and gleaming. Without a word, he handed one to Jack.Jack raised a brow and immediately shook his head. "No, we don’t need weapons for this. We’re here to talk.”Justin nodded in agreement, his voice strained. "Yeah, I mean, seriously? Guns? What are you, a police officer or something?"Lord Leo gave no answer, his expression was unreadable as his eyes remained fixed on Jack. The silence was answer enough."Fine." Jack grunted, throwing his hands up. "But I’m not carrying that. Give me a sword instead. You know I work better with blades."Lord Leo reached further into the box and retrieve

Lord Leo and Jack then bent down and carefully lifted the unconscious Justin Bradley from the cold, tiled floor of the mall. Jack grunted under the weight as they carried him out through the emergency exit, trying not to attract too much attention from the crowd still murmuring in confusion. The automatic doors hissed open as they stepped into the humid evening air, their destination clear. They popped open the sleek trunk of Lord Leo’s Lamborghini and gently laid Justin inside, his arms limp, his breathing shallow but steady. Jack closed the trunk, dusted his hands off, and exchanged a quick glance with Lord Leo.Both men climbed into the front seats of the Lamborghini, the engine roaring to life with a satisfying purr. The low hum of tires on asphalt echoed as they sped through the city streets. As the neon lights of Oxford Valley blurred past, Jack leaned back into his seat, his eyes shifting to Lord Leo. “So tell me.” He began, his voice low and curious.“How the hell are Justi
