“I'm not here to talk about that, Jack Adams!”

“I heard from my grandmother that you already found yourself a new lady just moments after we got divorced!”

“Jack Adams, you are a bloody cheater!”

“I always knew that there was something fishy going on behind the scenes.”

“How dare you cheat on me, Jack Adams?!”

“Betty, I don't think I owe you any further explanation from the very dad that you divorced me.”

“Speaking of cheating, I had never cheated on you, but now that you brought that up…”

“I have come to realise that you were actually the one who has been cheating on me all this while!”

“You have been cheating on me with the son of Lord Bradley…Justin Bradley!”

“This is so annoying, Betty Thomas, you just made it very clear to me that all those years of our marriage really meant nothing to you.”

“We had been through a lot together but you still chose to throw me out the window because of your recent financial success!”

“I had your back when you and the Thomas group had nothing, I was always there for you!”

“Betty Thomas, if this is what you really want, then so be it!” Jack Adams' voice was detached.

“Jack, I really don't want to play those emotional games of yours right now!”

“I really don't care if you think I was cheating on you or not!”

“The reason why I called you is because I need an explanation, why did your new girlfriend have his goons beat up Justin Bradley right at our family mansion?!”

“Jack, I demand an explanation right now and an apology to Justin Bradley immediately!”

“Betty, I really don't have time for all this shenanigan!”

“Ask your so-called Justin Bradley what he did to earn a well-deserved beating from Mr Thwane?!”

“Goodbye Betty Thomas, this should be the last time you ever call me again!”

“Jack…” The phone line immediately went dead.

“What did that animal just say?” Lady Nicole Thomas immediately asked.

“He said nothing grandma, let's just forget about Jack Adams, I have divorced him and he is gone forever.”

“Let's talk about the twenty billion dollar contract that every business organization is rushing to sign with Titanium Valley Group.”

“That is a better discussion to have than Jack Adams.”

“How is it going back to the office?” Lady Nicole Thomas asked as everyone walked into the mansion.

Back at the Williams family private hospital.

“Who are you and how did you get in here?!” Emilia Williams asked as she spotted a man walk into the private ward.

“He is Doctor Alexander from India, as we all know India produces the best doctor in the whole.” Doctor Carlos answered bowing before him.

“He is actually right, I should have been here earlier but the president contracted a cough and I was contacted to come and fix him.” Doctor Alexander said, smiling weirdly.

His words were laced with pride as he spoke. He was a bit short but commanded respect in the medical field. Behind him were ten associate doctors and nurses carrying his medical gear.

“Lord Williams, I'm really sorry for not being here on time, I will make it up to you.”

“Save your apologies for yourself, I contacted you yesterday and you promised to be here sooner than now!”

“What if my wife had kicked the bucket?”

“Would your silly excuses bring her back from the dead?!”

“This is totally unacceptable!”

“I'm really sorry Lord Williams, can I please see Lady Beatrice Williams now?” Doctor Alexander asked.

“Right this way, Doctor Alexander.” Lord Williams said as he led him to meet Lady Beatrice Williams.

“What!”

“Who did this?!”

“What…what! sorcery is this?!” Doctor Alexander yelled as soon as his gaze fell on Lady Beatrice Williams in the infusion chamber.

“Lord Williams, who the heck approved of this medical abomination?!”

“It was Jack Adams, a fake doctor Emilia Williams found on the street!” Doctor Carlos immediately said from behind.

“A fake doctor Lord Williams?!”

“What do you expect me to do?!”

“My wife was dying and Mr Lee, the president of Titanium Valley Group recommended Jack Adams.”

“He arrived and was able to stabilize the whole medical chaos that Doctor Carlos, your useless apprentice caused!”

“Jack Adams made her case better than it was!” Emilia Williams added.

“Nonsense, this isn't the modern medicine we are supposed to be playing by.”

“This is sorcery and we don't tolerate such a medical practice!”

“Whatever your so-called Jack Adams is doing will look like it's working for now…”

“But it will all come all falling down when you least expect it.”

“This isn't the right way to heal a sick person!”

“I'm shutting this whole stuff down!”

“Wait! What?!”

“You can't shut down that infusion chamber!”

“Jack Adams instructed that we leave Lady Beatrice Williams inside there for three good hours, and it's barely two hours!” Emilia Williams said as she blocked Doctor Alexander's path.

“She is right Doctor Alexander, you had your chance and you blew it by coming late.”

“Allow Jack Adams to do his thing, I don't care if it's outdated medicine or ultra-modern medicine, all I need is for my wife to get better.” 

“Lord Williams, this can't be happening!”

“I'm telling you, this is all messed up!”

“Speaking of the so-called Jack Adams, where is he?”

“He stepped out…”

“Oh, he stepped out!”

“More like he just scammed up people and set up this whole shenanigan to run for three hours buying himself time to escape!”

“Lord Williams, I will shut this stuff down and bring Lady Beatrice Williams out of that smelly water and treat her myself!”

“And if anything goes wrong as Jack Adams had warned, I and my medical team will be held accountable!” Doctor Alexander said, his voice laced with authority and determination.

“Grandpa, we can't allow him to shut this infusion chamber down, not until Jack Adams gets back!”

"What if something really bad happens to grandma?!"
