Jack’s gaze settled on the four men stepping out from the ballroom shadows. A familiar smirk curved across his lips.

“Oh great.”

He muttered under his breath.

“Not these dumbass henchmen again. Don’t you guys have, I don’t know… a trade? Something useful to do with your lives?”

One of the men stepped forward. Broad shoulders, shaved head, and a glint of menace in his eyes,it was Lord Lucas’s right-hand man. He stopped a few feet from Jack, the tension crackling like static between them.

“What did you just call us?”

The man asked, his voice flat.

Jack shrugged, leaning back slightly with casual disdain.

“You heard me. Dumbass. Need me to spell it out?”

The man’s nostrils flared. Without a word, he reached into his coat and pulled out a gleaming Desert Eagle, pointing it squarely at Jack’s chest. The other men flinched.

“Put it away, man!”

One of them hissed.

“Not here. Not now!”

There was hesitation, the kind that filled the air like gasoline fumes. Then slowly, the man lowered t

Jack’s brows furrowed slightly as he stepped aside, allowing Emilia to walk into the mansion. The early morning chill still clung to her coat, and her eyes held a dull weight that hadn’t been there before.“What do you need help with?” Jack asked, his voice deep and tinged with curiosity. She looked up at him, lips parting slowly. “My assistant… he traveled and hasn’t returned yet. He’s the one with the best idea for the campaign.” Her voice trailed, laced with tension soft but.Jack’s gaze flickered toward the glowing computer screen still searching, then back to Emilia. He took in her face, slightly pale, stress carved into her features and something in him shifted. I can’t just let her walk away like this, he thought to himself. He stepped closer, motioned for her to sit, then sank down beside her. “What do you need the idea for, exactly?”Emilia exhaled deeply.“For the campaign. It’s supposed to be finalized before the end of this week. I need something compelling… something d

The night was still as Jack stood at the gate of his mansion, the soft hum of Lord Leo’s idling car next to him. Streetlights cast long shadows across the pavement. Lord Leo lowered his window, resting his arm on the edge as he looked up at Jack.“Thank you. ” He said quietly, sincerity in every syllable. “You didn’t just help my friend, you saved a mother.”Jack nodded in acknowledgment, but his expression was distant, his brows slightly drawn. His mind was elsewhere, still swirling with thoughts of Doctor Chong and the uneasy exchange earlier.Lord Leo noticed. “Don’t let it get to you.” Lord Leo said. “That doctor doesn’t suspect anything. He was just trying to liven up the room.”Jack didn’t respond immediately. He kept his eyes on the gate, then glanced over and asked.“And what if he does suspect something?”Leo leaned back slightly in his seat, his jaw tightening. “Then he’d be dead wrong. You’re clean, Jack. He was poking around, maybe curious, but nothing more. I promise

The soft chime of glasses echoed in the lavish sitting room, each sip of wine carried by the low hum of polite conversation. A golden glow from the chandelier bathed the room in luxury, casting delicate reflections across polished marble and glass.Jack took a small sip from his glass, letting the wine roll on his tongue, Rich and Expensive.Lord Zack leaned back in his seat, studying Jack carefully. “So… you’re the one who saved Mrs Beatrice,Lord Williams’ wife?”Jack gave a simple nod. “I am.”Lord Zack tilted his head. “Are you a doctor, then?”Jack met his gaze squarely, his voice calm but firm. “No. I’m not. I just help when someone truly needs it.”Lord Zack tapped the rim of his glass thoughtfully. “That’s a rare talent. Have you ever considered becoming a real doctor?”“No. Like I said, it’s not a profession for me. It’s not about the title. I help people because it’s the right thing to do. That’s all.”Jack responded without hesitation.Lord Zack seemed to respect that.

The cab pulled up to the grand front gates of Lord Williams’ estate. Jack stepped out, tossed a few bills at the driver, and strode briskly toward the entrance. The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the courtyard as the towering mansion loomed above.Butler Goof was already at the door waiting, his hands folded neatly in front of him. “Welcome back, Mr Jack.”“Where’s Lord Leo?” Jack asked as he stepped inside.Butler Goof opened his mouth to answer, but before he could…“Jack! You're here!” Lord Leo’s voice boomed from the dining room as he stepped out, coat already in hand. “We need to go. Now.”Jack frowned. “To where?”“I’ll explain on the way.” Lord Leo said, already halfway to the door.Jack didn’t move, he stood at a spot.“No. You’re going to tell me right here, right now.”Lord Leo hesitated. His gaze shifted, uncertain drives in, before he finally said.“Promise me you won’t get mad.”Jack narrowed his eyes as he stood.“Just say it.”Lord Leo took a deep bre

I never fail.”Lord Lucas’ smirk deepened. “I like that.” He said as turned and gestured for Jack to follow.“We’re heading out for a meeting soon, but come inside for a quick word. Let’s talk in private.”Jack followed him into the marble courtyard. His eyes instinctively scanned the grounds. Lord Lucas’ henchmen were scattered all around, whispering among themselves as he passed. Their hushed murmurs were clear enough:“That’s the guy who took out Kyle Rick and his Henchmen…”“Fourteen men, all flat on their backs.”Jack’s gaze swept past them cold and steady, until it landed on one face in particular. The henchman who had pulled a gun on him at the party.Their eyes locked. The man gave Jack a cold, stinging

Jack finally arrived at Lord Leo’s mansion. The cab came to a halt in front of two towering gates, one made of cold, imposing titanium, the other a glistening, crystal-like structure that shimmered in the afternoon sun. The contrast between strength and opulence perfectly mirrored Lord Leo’s personality.Jack paid the driver and stepped out, adjusting the collar of his coat as he approached the gate.“Stop right there!” A burly henchman barked, stepping out from the guard post. He raised a hand, his eyes narrowing. “State your purpose.”Jack blinked at him, he was clearly confused. “I’m a friend of Lord Leo,” Jack said, his tone calm.“Shut up!” The henchman snapped, taking a step forward. “Just admit you’re one of Lord Leo’s rival’s dogs sent to spy on him.”Jack’s eyes hardened, and his tone dropped to a deadly calm. “I’m not here to play games. Do I look like some two-bit lackey?”Just then, another henchman jogged over, clearly alarmed by the shouting.“What’s going on here
