Given an unfair advantage, Ethan recovered from the numerous heavy punches and rolled on top of Jeremy, returning the blows with his knuckles hitting straight on his forehead.

While this unfolded Jeremy's wife stood still watching, she wasn't at all burdened by the possibilities of him dying.

"Dad!" His 18 years old daughter who just came down the stairs rushed to pull her uncle off her dad.

By now Jeremy's left eye was already filled with blood, with a black circle surrounding it. His lips were swollen and bleeding.

Basically his whole head looked like a drum with many leakages.

He sat up staggeringly and started breathing heavily. The physical pain he took wasn't at all as devastating as the emotional turmoil they had caused him.

"Why?" A teardrop left Jeremy's eyes followed by the tremor that accompanied his voice.

"Did you really think I was gonna settle down for a poverty stricken man like you? Look at me," she quickly did a 360. "Do I look like your type?"

Jeremy's heart dropped with his eyelids stretching in unfathomable shock.

"Rita," he called out with a sigh, his words laced with exhaustion. "What do you mean?"

Ethan chuckled scornfully and walked to her, grabbing her from behind and putting her on his body while staring down at Jeremy.

"So you really think a girl like her, from a prestigious family like ours will choose to give it all up just to fall in love with a bum like you?" He chuckled again, "Hm. Jeremy the dreamer."

Rita raised her head to kiss him then stared at Jeremy with a derisive smile, teasing his jealousy.

"The only reason I married you is so I could cover my tracks with you. You see me and my brother are in love, but our family doesn't support that. So I ran away with you, to make it seem like I have moved on from my brother but this whole time, we were still in love," she rubbed her head against Ethan's chest and took three steps forward.

"You see honey," she took of his wedding ring and threw it on him disrespectfully. "You were just a diversion."

Jeremy's heart ran up to its boiling point, evidently pounding up and down. Rage brewing in his head, with sorrow reaching it's vertex.

Ever since he impregnated Rita in highschool, he had given up his dreams to hustle and cater for her and the child, since she abandoned her family who didn't want the pregnancy and pushed for an abortion.

He wasn't at all born from a rich family or ever saw any opportunities that'd make him crazy rich, but at least he made sure she didn't lack anything. He tried his best to make sure she didn't regret her actions.

But this whole time he never knew all the regret he was preventing her from was waiting to strike him in the bullseye.

Tears stood at the doorstep of Jeremy's orbs waiting to drip down his cheeks like a waterfall. But he held them back firmly even though it formed water rings around his lower eyelid.

"Get out of my house," he mumbled words.

"Get out of my house!" He yelled out a second time.

Unexpectedly a loud laugh broke loose from Ethan lips, he clapped his hands in rhythm with the laughter and walked forward, standing by Rita.

Jeremy's eyes widened in a mix feeling of confusion and defeat, that wasn't at all the reaction he expected.

"Didn't you just buy a four hundred thousand dollars car with the bank's money?"

'How did he know about this?' Jeremy's mind wandered.

"Guess who owns the bank you borrowed from? My family. So technically, this house is now mine. Or can you make enough money to cover that before the loan expires?" He scoffed.

Jeremy stood up in a display of strength, "Get out of my house or I call the cops."

Unbothered, Ethan put his hand in his pocket and pulled out his phone. "Wait still I call your boss. The company you work at is also owned by my family. If I were you I'd just pack my things and leave, nothing in this house is yours. We own you."

"Not even the kids," his wife walked into her brother's hands and soothed his genital area from on top his ass.

A sharp gasp left Jeremy's nostrils, "The kids aren't mine? Impossible. I saw her carry my baby in her womb."

A feeling of doubt and despair dawn on him, with his eyes flinching unsteadily in fear. What if the kids really weren't his! What if she wasn't playing at all.

"You're lying," he said with an heavy breath as she silently smirked at him. "You're lying."

Then confused he grabbed his first daughter, Jessie's hand and pulled her towards the exit.

Ethan raised his hand to obstruct his sister, "Hold. Let's see where he's taking her."

Meanwhile Jeremy collided with his second daughter who just returned from school at the door and picked her up, putting her in the front sit of the Rolls Royce then forcing her older sister into the back.

"Dad what's going on?" The 12 years old inquired but was left without an answer.

The crowd of performers and observers watched as the once smiley man wore the sadness of an entire generation on his face.

He drove off.

In a few minutes he stormed into the hospital pulling them forward in each hand, yelling at the staffs at the counter as soon as he entered.

"Dr. Springfield! Where's Dr. Springfield?"

With the sound of his voice echoing like a thunderstorm the doctor came out of a ward disturbed and walked down the hallway to meet them with a face clothed in perplexity.

As soon as he sighted him, he pulled his two children forward, his eyes already red of impatient, "I need a DNA test for two of my children."

The doctor froze in suspense like he knew something, "Are you sure?"

"Why? Why shouldn't I be sure? Just do the damn test," he yelled at the man.

"Okay sir. As you wish. Follow me," the doctor took them to his office where he searched through his files and pulled out the kids DNA result which he had done for Ethan a long time ago.

Jeremy held them like a vital body organ and read through them with his eyes scanning the paper in tension.

"Ahh," a sharp sigh left his mouth as the words flashed into his eyes. His second doctor wasn't his. He flipped the papers over to see that same results for his first child, the one he ruined his life for. They both belong to his brother-in-law.

He turned to them for a brief second, staring at them like monsters as he walked backwards with the countenance of a dying man. Tear filling his eyes but refusing to drop.

"I'm sorry Mr. Waltz. Life happens," the doctor succored him with harsh words.

"Daddy," the little girl turned to him, her body language emitting fear and her eyes almost teary. She didn't have any idea why her dad was now looking at her like she was an alien.

About to leave the room Jeremy bumped into his wife and brother-in-law. His fist balled into a blow with eyes immediately reddening up.

"I want a divorce," his wife spoke with a smirk.

By now Jeremy has already lost everything. His wife, his children, his purpose to live, his happiness, the only thing that remained of him was his mere existence; his ability to breathe in oxygen.

Everyone of his morals were gone. He had nothing to lose. Jeremy charged on her, grabbing her neck and trying to squeeze out every last bit of bone in it.

The doctor and her husband quickly intervened while his first daughter just watched with shame crawling on her visage, and the other one, tears.

Jeremy let go of her and walked backward staring at her with red teary eyes and his broken nose which Ethan has cost him earlier. He turned around and left the hospital in a rush.

Outside he hasted into his new Rolls-Royce and launched into the street. Usually cars have a windscreen wiper to clear the water of the windscreen, but this time the water was in his eyes.

He drove with a blurry sight and a leg stitched on the acceleration pedal. He had absolutely nothing else to live for.

But then his phone rang. The caller ID read 'Boss'

Jeremy picked it up to hear the most devastating two words in his life...

"You're fired."

No explanations. No reasons stated, just the two words. Of course he knew this was Ethan's doing, the heir to the Havemeyer's family fortune.

"Boss..."

A loud beep echoed with the call going off; his boss has just hung up on him.

In a swift second Jeremy lost his balance and glided against a trailer, his car flew into the air flipping like a coin before finally landing on its back.

Nobody would suspect,” Aiden suggested.“I’m not killing anyone,” Nick walked out of the kitchen heading to the sitting room. “There has to be another way.”Aiden followed him, “There’s no other way. So what was he doing here?” she raised another question.“He wants a prize,” Aiden answered without hesitation. For a minute there, Nick was stunned. He looked up to Aiden surprised he was about to tell her Draco’s bombshell request.“What does he want?”“A car. An old Mustang,” Aiden mentioned.Nick took a deep relaxing breath.Becky turned to him then back to Aiden, they could see the skepticism in her eyes.“I’d arrange for that.
