After the fight, the youths began to cry. They did not expect to live and thought to die in the last moments.

"Hey mister, please become our master! Or even our Lord!" Said their leader with a red bandana.

"Hmm, let me see the village. I am your Lord after all." Rein said to them and he shuffled his bag. "Here, I have the papers that were given by the King."

".... what!?" They all shouted. Looking at each other, they all smiled and went in glee.

He rested and was glad after seeing some of the villagers. He saved them and so, he was escorted to the village. The youths were glad to be having a Lord at last and were excited to introduce him to the village elder. They moved on and then guided him towards the village. It was a fun journey with them as they were highly energetic as they have a Lord now.

They arrived at the hills where they could see the village below. It was a magnificent scene where they could see the grass swaying on the winds. As well as a great view from afar where you could see forests and a lake nearby. It was a peaceful scenery and was like a breath of a fresh air.

"My Lord, what is your name?" Asked their leader.

Without further ado, Rein replied, "I am Rein Griffith. Nice to meet you,"

"Sir Griffith, I am Kenny, and this is our team. We are tasked to patrol the borders for the village's safety and we might not hold up for long." He said then let them all bow at him.

The others were sighing but they still smiled even though they had a weakened state. They wanted to look energetic to their Lord but still, Rein could see their energies falling. He wished he could at least alleviate their fatigue.

The youths were excited to let him see their elder. Others were having dialogues of laughs and jeers as they had a new lord.

And it was a big deal to them. As it would mean they will have hope of surviving this mess.

They started in descending the hills. And Rein could not feel at ease. Using the copycat eyes, he could see the gloomy problem. The excitement from Rein became flipped around and was saddened. The village was in a depressing and gloomy mood.

It was a mess..... they were having dilapidated houses and small numbers in population.... numerous persons have ripped clothing and they were dirt poor.

His Copycat eyes could see everything from afar and he would be in a stressful predicament from now on. So much problem.

They arrive at village gates and then the youths energetically went to greet their elder. He was old and white in hair. With eyes narrowed down and then has a shaky voice.

"Elder Gurdur, we have brought a person with us, he was called Rein, our new Lord. " Kenny said to him while pointing his hands to him. Rein immediately showed his contract sealed by the King.

"Hello sir! Welcome to the village. We could not accommodate you as we are in dire straits too. Hope you understand."

"We will serve the remaining food to welcome our Lord. Now go and let's feast!" Elder Gurdur commanded.

"Wait! No need, I will let that be of service to the village. We need to help each other." He said then looked at the people around him.

They were sickly and the other kids were famished. Some were coughing and some just sat on their doorway to wait when they die. Rein could not help but be worried.

"A Lord letting his subjects die is not a good Lord!" Rein shouted. "I hereby sworn to never leave or forsake you!"

"Thank you my Lord!" Gurdur shouted.

They went to the healing tent and they heard coughs and pained voices. Rein felt more pity for them. He entered and saw numerous youths and some aged men wounded and bandaged.

The room smelled of blood and bandages were having blood stained in them. He saw the wounded defense force and could not help but sigh. He does not have a healing potion recipe or have a healing herb. Hopefully he will find one in the forest.

"Sir," he bowed down in knees and put his cane on the floor. "If we could survive this predicament, then we will swear our loyalty to you in our lifetime! So please, Lord Rein, guide us! Lead us!"

The elder asked that they will serve him as their Lord if he could save them. And so Rein decided. He has to save them.....

"Okay sure, I will lead you all. But better be strong as I will work you all to the bones! Hahaha!" Rein made the mood into a warm one. All of their worries were dispelled.

Suddenly, a scout went running to them, "Elder! Elder! Goblin scouts were spotted! They were on the hills and were coming here!"

"I see, well prepare for battle, we will die fighting!" Commanded the Elder.

Rein just arrived and all suddenly, there were numerous problems that had risen immediately. Counting his lucky stars, there was nothing to count.

Then he was in dire straits as his territory will be attacked by enemies.....Goblins and Hobgoblins. It was a battle that would be putting your lives on the line. The stakes were high and it was all or nothing.

"Don't worry my Lord! We will protect you!" Shouted their elder.

It was then, Kenny made a muffled laugh and then chuckled. "Um you see Elder, Rein is stronger than you think."

"Yeah! Way way stronger than you think." Added his other friend Klien.

"Ah, I see, then I don't have to worry then!" He added, "But seriously, if the Lord dies then we are doomed."

He glared at the two but they only smirked, "You'll see him in action later in the battlefield, right boss?" Asked Klien.

"Ah yep," said Kenny with a thumbs up.

Rein prepared his sword and then the villagers were now ready. They went grabbing their precious weapons and albeit dull, they cherished them as their best friend in battle.

They went running and Rein was accompanied by the youths defense force. They also went dashing to meet the leader of the enemy. In which way, looking down at them above the hills.

They know that it would be a hard fought battle as they were outnumbered. Having a number of 49 vs. 100 plus goblins. They would be in a dire situation.

As long as no one dies, that's all what Rein asked for. He would be in debuff state if his perfectionist skill will punish him. But! If he could pass the test then maybe a buff or another skill would be given.

Now the defense force lined up and they were all ready to defend their territory. It was a do or die mission. One must be prepared to put their lives on the line once he set foot here.

  • The 3 Generals

Inside the large campaign tent, the air was heavy with expectation.A war table stood at the center, covered in maps, drawn lines, and carved figurines representing armies and territories. Oil lanterns flickered on every corner of the tent, casting shadows on the lined faces of hardened warriors. Leather and fur armor rustled as the summoned generals entered and took their places around the table. The tension was tangible, like the stillness before a storm.Rein stood in the middle, arms crossed and gaze sharp as steel.Beside him were Arkhan and Arthurn, his most trusted vanguards, silent, stoic, and radiating unshakable loyalty. On the other end of the tent, Reginald leaned against one of the support beams with arms folded. He was half hidden in the dim light, keen eyes watching everything, as if dissecting every word before it was even spoken. Then the flap of the tent opened.Three figures walked in, each bearing the aura of their people. They were the chosen representatives from

No blades drawn, no cries of war, only the sound of laughter and the scent of smoke and roasted meat. They were all merry and joyous.A well-earned celebration. They did not feel such freedom from the past and now they were walking in the open without worries of being killed.Rein gave the order: they would host a great feast, not just for victory, but to welcome the Dark Mages. No more suspicion. No more fear.Today, they will celebrate. It was a once in a lifetime moment for the Dark Mages. The warriors spread out first, forming hunting parties. • Dark Mages

Rein returned to his normal form. The radiant glow of evolution dimmed as his body settled once again into his mimic form. His shell pulsed gently with mana, but his expression, if a mimic could truly have one, was lighter now. The tension that had gripped him during the war had lifted. For the first time in days, he chuckled."Ahhh… finally. Enough seriousness. Back to my cheerful self again," Rein said as his voice echoed playfully."Thank you everyone! Now back to business. Let's go home. But first, let's check the Dark mages first." "Arkhan let's go!" He yelled and then raised his arms. "Yes, master!" He knelt then stood up. "They were located at the cave nearby. I will lead you there myself. Arkhan raised an eyebrow, arms crossed, but allowed himself a small grin. The battlefield was cleared, the enemies vanquished.Arkhan paused for a moment. "It's northwest of the battlefield. They're getting weaker..but persistent. Faint enough to be from those barely clinging to life."Wit

  • Overlord Summoner

The Soul Realm trembled. Black fog from the absorption ritual still lingered like smoke above charred soil. The battlefield had fallen into silence, unnatural and deep, after the Lich's defeat and taming. No more howls, no more screams. Only the chilling hum of death magic was still crackling in the distance.Rein stood in the middle of the scorched land, sweat dripping from his brow, his robes stained with sweat and cursed soot. Around him, his warriors began to regroup. Mimics carried the wounded, slimes dissolved the last remains of the undead army, and his elite clones stood at attention, watching their master carefully. Before Rein, the newly resurrected man, once the Undead Lich, knelt calmly. No longer a rotting corpse nor a spectral being of hate, but a man reborn. His hair was silver and wild, his eyes violet and filled with bitter wisdom. He wore a conjured mage coat of dark silk, now reinforced with runes gifted through the taming ritual. Rein's knees suddenly gave way.Hi

  • Rebirth

The battlefield was silent for a heartbeat. Then came the rupture. A black vortex tore through the space, ripping it where the Undead Lich once floated. Rein stood at its center, his right hand outstretched, glowing with an ominous, devouring darkness. His newest skill [Catastrophic Gluttonous Devourer] was in full effect. The Lich screamed, its distorted voice howling across the ruined land. Necrotic tendrils lashed out in desperation, tearing apart what remained of the nearby forest. The ground cracked, the sky trembled, and even the lingering souls of the undead trembled at the sheer force of the absorption."Struggle all you want," Rein muttered, eyes burning with resolve. "You're doomed."The vortex expanded, consuming the darkness, the dark mists, and the shattered corpses scattered from the battle. The Lich resisted with every ounce of its might. Chaos erupted, swirling violently as the two wills clashed. For a brief moment, the Lich's soul pushed back, refusing to be dominated

"Focus on whittling down his Barrier!" Rein's voice boomed across the battlefield, filled with the raw intensity of command."Affirmative!" his warriors replied in unison, their voices ringing out with determination. They were ready. They had to be.With synchronized precision, they dashed toward the Lich Overlord. Some leapt into the air, closing the distance quickly, while others focused on direct confrontation. Their goal was clear, to shatter the Lich's barrier before the dreaded Disintegration spell could be unleashed again. They had time now, but none of them knew how long that window would last. The Disintegration spell required a long cooldown, but they couldn't afford to wait too long. Now was their chance. They had weathered the initial blast and survived, their own barriers regenerating to full strength. Rein could sense it, their defenses were strong once more, and with the clones he had summoned, they were ready to strike with overwhelming force. He had confidence now; th
