Reincarnation (2)

"The time has come, my friend. You must also take up your weapon," said a man in a firm tone.

Jin Tae Kyung looked at the man with a puzzled expression, but soon realized that it was time to strengthen his resolve.

"I'm ready," he murmured softly.

However, the man only smirked as he walked towards the group of fighters who had already gathered.

Jin Tae Kyung continued to watch him from a distance, but then slapped himself on the cheek. He had to keep his composure.

"I can do this."

He then looked at the sword lying near his feet, a gift he received when he was almost forced onto the ship.

"You can do this, Jin Tae Kyung," he said to himself.

Slowly, he took a deep breath and lifted his sword. He felt how light it was in his hands, as if his hands were glued to the hilt of the sword.

The knight with dragon blood, Calaghar, became a shadow in his mind. Calaghar was a true superhero who could defeat hundreds or even thousands of enemies alone.

Jin Tae Kyung only needed to reach 1% of that synchronisation.

"Okay, let's do this!"

He was determined to survive. And then, he would join the evening feast or whatever it was called and listen to interesting stories.

But suddenly, the ship shook with a loud bang. Jin Tae Kyung almost fell into the sea and quickly turned his head towards the sound. The other fighters jumped off the ship immediately after it hit the rocks.

"Help has arrived!"

"Protect the port!"

Loud voices were heard from the other side of the ship. The clash of weapons, screams, and the cries of animals could also be heard on the battlefield.

"Hurry! The magic that protects the ship will disappear!"

Jin Tae Kyung felt the floor of the ship beneath his feet becoming increasingly transparent. It was as if something was pushing his to make a drastic decision. Without hesitation, she leaped into the gaping darkness below. For a moment, he was suspended in the air before the previous ship mysteriously disappeared.

As he realized what was happening, Jin Tae Kyung was surprised to find himself in the midst of a real battlefield. Dog-headed monsters with sharp fangs and glowing eyes were slashing through the Valhalla forces trying to hold them back. Both sides fiercely battled in the air, creating a tense commotion.

Amidst the chaos, Jin Tae Kyung kept moving forward. He knew he had to devise a strategy to survive in this unexpected world. His heart raced, but he forced himself to remain calm.

"I must take control of this situation," he whispered to himself.

With his sword firmly in his hand, Jin Tae Kyung carefully observed the movements of the enemy. he searched for openings amidst the attacks of the monsters. As time passed, he began to understand their patterns and movements. "They're not so different from the enemies in the gaming world," he thought.

The dog-headed monsters drew closer. Their attacks roared around Jin Tae Kyung, threatening to destroy her. However, with sharp reflexes, he leaped and evaded the deadly strikes. Then, swiftly, he launched a counterattack with his sword.

"swish"

Jin Tae Kyung's sword spun at high speed. He accurately severed the neck of one of the dog-headed monsters, and the creature howled in pain before falling helpless. Jin Tae Kyung seized the opportunity and continued her assault. Unplanned yet effective attacks were unleashed, weakening the other monsters attempting to approach him.

Amidst the chaos, a conversation emerged

"Hey, what is she doing over there?" shouted a Valhalla warrior, pointing in Jin Tae Kyung's direction.

"Never mind that. Just watch the outcome," replied his comrade, gazing at Jin Tae Kyung's heroic actions.

Jin Tae Kyung, relentless, continued to crush the monsters around him. Each swing of his sword was executed with increasing skill and courage. he felt the power and sharpness of his weapon, as well as a growing confidence within herself.

"Collapse!"

Jin Tae Kyung shouted, his sword gracefully swung to strike the final blow on the monster that challenged him. He took a deep breath, the legend of the dragon knight Calaghar flowing through his veins, peaking with every step he took.

"I am Jin Tae Kyung, and I will create a new story!" he murmured loudly, his confidence flowing through him like a mantra.

Tae Kyung repeated it in his mind, like a philanthropist praying for himself. He wanted to master every fight, achieve the best possible outcome.

As he gazed towards the next monster, his heart began to race. He felt a sense of pleasure within him, realizing how quickly he responded to the attack.

"Under the Myth, two slots remain. Can I create two more stories?" Jin Tae Kyung muttered seriously, his eyes piercingly staring at the pouncing monster.

He felt time slow down as he gracefully twirled his sword, preparing himself to deflect the attack. And as he struck, he felt the transmission of the legend of the dragon knight Calaghar spreading around him.

"Jin Tae Kyung! He's as fast as a hurricane! He is a hurricane!" The announcer's shout still rang in his ears.

The myth was a radiant story, a message that spread. The more people told the story and the stronger their beliefs, the stronger the story became.

And when Jin Tae Kyung attacked with astonishing speed, everyone was mesmerized. And they cheered as the legend of the dragon knight Calaghar brought down its enemy.

[Myth: An attack by a warrior is like a hurricane.]

Jin Tae Kyung was surprised by his own movement. Like lightning, he crossed several meters with agility.

The monster's breath was gasping on his cheek. But Jin Tae Kyung's sword successfully penetrated the monster's stomach.

Something was felt at the tip of his finger. Jin Tae Kyung spun his sword before feeling the strangeness. The monster groaned as it tried to free itself.

The monster's claw wounded his shoulder. But what happened instead was a sensation of heat as if being burned by fire.

"Uoooo!"

Jin Tae Kyung shouted and twisted his sword. Without stopping there, he pulled out his sword with force. The monster collapsed. Jin Tae Kyung stuck his sword in its neck to ensure its death, then breathed heavily.

He felt dizzy. His nose was numb from the piercing smell of blood. But his eyes remained sharp and his hearing was still clear.

"This is an ability."

Unlike an eternal warrior, a warrior's attack was like a storm that hit.

"Do I become faster when using this ability?"

Understanding the ability was crucial. How strong it was, how to use it correctly, and how to use it effectively.

And Jin Tae Kyung knew, his instinct said that his story was not yet over.

When the origin of his story became an anecdote. The pinnacle of world championship was Calaghar's attack.

But not only fast, Calaghar's attack was like a storm that hit the battlefield.

Jin Tae Kyung was convinced that there was still room for development, like an eternal warrior.

Jin Tae Kyung bit his lip and looked around with wide eyes. The fight was still going on, but the Valhalla warriors moved together so no monsters dared to attack Jin Tae Kyung. It was as if they were driving away the monsters.

The Valhalla warriors were so powerful. They all appeared to be using their own myths that emitted light from their bodies or blazing fire from their weapons.

"Ah?"

However, there was something that caught Jin Tae Kyung's attention. A warrior placed his hand on the body of a monster that he had just killed.

Suddenly, like red smoke, something began to emanate from the body of the monster and was then sucked in by the warrior's palm.

The warrior who performed the ritual smiled satisfactorily and immediately attacked another monster.

Jin Tae Kyung turned to the monster he had defeated. Hurriedly, he reached out his hand and placed it on the back of the monster.

Red smoke was seen coming out of the monster's body and was absorbed into him.

"Rune."

The meaning of the rune appeared in his mind. It was difficult to explain exactly what it was, but he felt like he was gaining a new power.

"Fight with your myth to defeat the monsters and increase your strength."

He tried to understand the general idea. There was a method similar to that in the game.

Jin Tae Kyung also approached the first monster he had defeated and placed his hand on its body. This time too, he felt something transmitted to him.

Unconsciously, he clenched his fists. Jin Tae Kyung tried to calm his breath and swallow his saliva.

You can do it. You can do it.

Just like in the game, there were rules that had to be followed.

"Thor!"

"Thor!"

Suddenly, shouts exploded from the warriors. Jin Tae Kyung immediately stood up while grabbing his sword and turned to see where the warriors were heading. And then he understood why the warriors were calling out the name of a god.

"The God of Thunder has descended!"

Indeed, the God of Thunder had descended. A giant with blue lightning flowing in his body stood in the sky above the battlefield. When he raised his big golden hammer, the warriors cheered and in response, the god flipped his red cloak and began to fly in the sky.

"Mjolnir!"

"The God of Thunder!"

With a thunderous sound, a huge lightning bolt occurred in the sky. No, it started from the golden hammer raised by the god. A massive lightning strike hit the monsters.

A beautiful and powerful resonance echoed across the horizon, as the mighty golden hammer shook the air. Its tremendous impact sliced through the monstrous creatures.

"Uwooo!"

"Thor!"

"Thor!"

The soldiers chanted in adoration. Jin Tae Kyung could feel his heart racing as lightning struck from the sky, reducing the beasts to ash. However, the deafening explosions kept coming, shaking the ground as if there was an earthquake.

"Come on, Valhalla warriors!"

The hammer's owner shouted. The Valkyries who accompanied him charged into the battlefield, followed by other soldiers who ran through the lightning-struck path.

Jin Tae Kyung could not resist it.

It was a God. Thor himself.

Only then did he realize where he was.

He turned his gaze towards the sky, watching as the monsters and soldiers battled against each other.

[ Eternal Wariors ]

His breath was heavy, and he tightened his grip on his sword, lamenting his lack of consistency in battle. Fighting against monsters was extremely dangerous, and it was not his style. But he couldn't just stand there. They had the momentum now, and he needed to kill at least one more monster to improve his survival skills in the next battle.

It was his instinct speaking.

"Wait, let us hold them off first."

Jin Tae Kyung laughed bitterly, saying the opposite of what he was doing, and then charged forward.
