The Isle of Darkness woke violently.

Not with the usual chants of the priestesses,

but with a BOOM so powerful it shook the moon-pools and rattled the obsidian towers.

Dragon sat up in his chambers. “That better not be Dream.”

Another explosion. “…It’s Dream.”

Across the courtyard, Divine Guards sprinted in circles, smoke rising from the Hall of Discipline.

Snake stepped out of his room, rubbing his temples. “It’s too early for this.”

Frost, already in healer robes, waved a glowing staff. “GREED LIROID HAS ARRIVED!”

Which explained everything.

THE TRAINING ARENA: A COMPLETE WARZONE

The Divine Training Arena looked like a battlefield.

Statues melted.

A fountain screamed.

Two divine apprentices were stuck to the ceiling by golden webbing.
