Alan walked out of the house, his Mclaren was ready for him to hop into it so they would be heading to the venues he was meant to be at.

‘I got a message saying that there is someone in Verin that would hand me my weapons but then I don’t think I would need them.’ Alan muttered to himself, he was not going to be saying anything other than the fact that he was going to look for something that would help him blend in.

The auction was in a few hours and he needed to appear there as one of the oddest looking men so they wouldn’t think much of him.

“So I really need to carry weapons with me?” Alan asked himself as he entered the car, Ben was seated there he was going to help Alan get to the auction with no problems.

“Sir, I also got Intel that the people who are trying to sell the heirloom have connections to the remaining four heirlooms,” Ben gave Alan the run through of what he was going to be expecting.

Alan sat in the car, he was sure that there was going to be an opening where he would be able to find tangible information that he would be able to find the other heirlooms and make the most out of it.

Ben turned to look at Alan, he noticed that his boss didn't dress up like he was going to an important party.

“When you said under the radar I didn't know you meant that you would be going like you worked as a butler,” Ben teased Alan as he was going through the list.

Alan looked at Ben with a deadpan look on his face, he was not sure what he was going to do with him.

“You just want to get under my skin don't you? Besides I didn't even have any good things in my wardrobe,” Alan didn't want to pay much attention to Ben knowing that he would say something else.

“Yeah right, the almighty Alan Wayne, the The Winter Blade himself didn't have something flashy in his wardrobe. Then that would mean that the world is coming to an end.” Ben fired up the engine and they drove off, they were heading to the Auction venue.

Alan was going through the names of the people who were heading the auction and then he saw the name of the man who was the supposed one who got the heirloom they would be selling.

‘Henry Nixon,’

“Wait, is Nixon somehow related to the Nixon family? If I could remember clearly they were part of the people who were angry father was about to be crowned the Lord Of Verin,” Alan was looking at Ben to see if he would be able to give him an answer.

Ben looked at the rearview mirror to see that Alan was talking to him. He sighed before telling him what he needed to know. “Yes turns out that the Nixon Family had a brat that was ten times worse than their family head, I did some research he was the one who had two of the heirlooms and he is also one of the people ruling Verin, but that aside I also learned that he has hands in the underworld of Verin where he sells innocent children and women.”

Alan's brows furrowed when he heard what Ben had on the Nixon family and their family head.

“So he's a scumbag, I can't kill him without a legitimate reason though but I will be paying his son a visit.” Alan's mind was already set on what he was going to be doing when he got to the auction house and he was not going to let anything make him take it easy with them.

In two minutes they were approaching the auction house, Alan looked out to see the many important men that seemed to be coming to the house.

“I don't need you to reach that spot, you can park somewhere here,” Alan said in a low tone, that he wasn't going to be exposing himself as someone wealthy.

“Alright, I will be parking here,” Ben said as he parked the car in a spot. He looked back to see that Alan was getting ready for what would look like a fight.

He placed his hand into the compartment box in the car, he brought out a black card that had the symbol of a mountain and a sword on it.

“Here you go sir, don't fail to call if you need help,” Ben said teasingly, he was looking at Alan trying to see if he would make him say something.

Alan took the card with a smile on his face, “When in the world have I asked you for help?”

Alan got down, looked up, and began to walk to the auction house. He looked around to see that many billionaires were showing up at the auction house trying to make sure that they would buy something there.

Alan didn't even want to know what they were planning to do the

‘To take his family's heirloom,’

Alan didn't even want to mingle with the likes of ‘Verins wealthy’. To him, they were all scum bags who didn't know what they were going to do with the money they had.

Alan was almost at the auction house, he had chills run through his spine when he felt something coming.

He turned back to see a car coming his way, he moved aside but in the process, he moved a trash bin in front of the car.

The car crashed into it, leaving a huge dent there. Alan had a devilish smirk on his face, he had done that on purpose to make the driver dent the car.

‘Serves you right,’ Alan said as he was about to head for the auction house.

The car had stopped abruptly, the doors opened as a man walked down with a furious look on his face.

“How dare you?! This car is a limited edition Audi!” The man yelled with veins popping out of his head, he was looking at Alan.

Alan paused, he let out a sigh then turned to look at the man. “Then you should have learned how to drive properly, or are your skills limited like your car?”

Alan was waiting for the bidding price on the necklace, he didn't pay attention to the others cause he couldn't care less about them. "I take it that's why you're here? You want to take that Amulet?" Susan was looking at Alan and she could see that he was seriously looking at the stage with much concentration. Alan let out a cool sigh, he had a happy look on his face and it was clear as day that he was going to be happy to make sure that there was nothing going to keep him from taking it. "That amulet belonged to our family and it was taken from us wrongly, not only that there are more of the Wayne family heirlooms they are not even putting out on display but then they are planning to sell it, and they would give it to the highest bidder." Alan was not sounding happy when he was trying to tell Susan why the Amulet was important. "So you're telling me that those bozos have something to do with your family's death?" Susan had connected the dots, she knew that he wouldn't be thinkin

She didn't let that stop her from talking to him, “I knew that there was no way you would be able to recognise me like this but then I wanted to give it a try after I saw you talking to the Mason family driver like you didn't care,” Alan was looking at the lady, he then realised who she was, he smiled a bit when he did. “I never thought the Angel Of Death could wear a gown and look like an elegant lady,” Alan was looking at the stage, he was still smiling when he said it. “So now you recognise me, you are one hard head aren't you?” The lady was looking at Alan, she wasn't looking down anymore. “I heard you came down to Verin and I was curious as to why the legendary blade of ju

“Are you insane?” The driver was looking at Alan, he was not sure he had seen someone who would know it was them and even think of insulting them like that. “Do you know who I am carrying in this car here?!” The man was looking at Alan, he was expecting him to fall on the floor and plead for his forgiveness. Alan rolled his eyes, he was not happy in any way and he was also not going to say anything other than the fact he was not sorry for denting the car. “I don't care if it was the Emperor you are carrying in your shit truck there, I would give you one advice and that would be to learn how to drive.” Alan was about to turn and walk away. “You bastard, you better stop right there!” The man yelled, it seemed like he was not going to let Alan walk out on him like that. “You just dented Lord Nixon’s car! He is affiliated with the Nixon heir and you dare do something like that and think you are going to walk out without paying for it?!” The driver was persistent and he was not going

Alan didn't want to let Ellara hear who he was or even get the idea that he was someone of that kind of power before it was time for him to reveal it to her. “So what did you find Ben?” Alan said as soon they were out of the room, he was looking at the man who came to give him the message. “We found one of the five Wayne family heirlooms that was taken on the day the enemy took out your family, they are trying to sell it at an auction,” Ben was looking at Alan, he could see that there were signs of him being angry. Alan was still shocked that they were thinking of selling his family heirloom in an auction and it was clear they had concluded that there was no one left in the family that would come back to take it back. “So they really think they erased all of the Waynes like that? This is something I can work with.” Alan was muttering to himself when he got the news. He turned to Ben, “So can you get me the information about this auction and where it is holding and the names of th
