Chapter 1
Chapter 1
A man dressed in a dark suit stepped out of a black BMW in front of the Verin temple, he walked down there in a calm and well-observed manner.
He stopped looking at the temple front, put his hands together, and began to say a prayer, which seemed to be in memory of someone. His phone beeped, and he pulled it out of his pocket to look at it. He had an odd smile on his face, so he picked up the call. “Tell me it’s something good…” “Well sir, I have good news and bad news. I found the girl who saved you fifteen years ago, she had managed to survive that accident but then I think I got another news saying she got injured badly.” “From what I am seeing here, she got hurt badly…” The man’s smile disappeared, and he turned back to his car and began walking to it. “Send me the information you got.” “I sent you the info you need on her to your email,” The man looked at his phone, a bit confused when he saw the girl's name. “So that’s her family, it will not be hard.” The man was none other than Alan Wayne. Fifteen years ago, Alan’s family were all assassinated one by one in cold blood, the people of Verin were trying to make sure that they would take the throne, they had taken their time to ensure they would get to Alan. They planned an accident locking Alan inside a bus trying to make sure that he would burn inside the car. But then a girl rushed in to save him from the burning car not minding her safety. Alan lost all 20 of his family members, and all the members of the Wayne family were lost that night. After he was rescued, Alan ran down to the river, trying to escape from Verin, not wanting anything to hurt him. He managed to escape to the hills, and not looking back, he bumped into a man who took him to the Northern lands, where he trained alongside the man to become a soldier. He kept training to make sure that he would not be as weak as he was when they tried to kill him. He taught throughout his stay in Northen Plains, moving from a nameless soldier to a feared General. Fifteen years later, Alan had become the most feared General, he also wore a mask hiding his face from everyone his blades of justice landed on. He had infiltrated an enemy camp to rescue the King of Northen Lands singlehandedly defeating 10,000 soldiers. After that event, his name was scarred into the minds of all his enemies. They called him The Winter Blade, which struck fear across the land. He was the youngest General The North had ever seen. Once Alan was made General, after years of gathering strength and power he decided to retire and return to Verin. He had a debt to pay and scores to settle, he was not going to let his family’s life go in vain. “So, her name is Ellara Wick and she is the first daughter of the Wick Family,” Alan hung up his phone as he pulled out the device in his car that would show him all the information on Ellara, he had seen the scars on her body and it was clearly from the accident years ago. ‘She was badly hurt in that accident,’ Alan whispered to himself, he wasn't sure what he was going to be doing there if it wasn't for him. Fifteen years ago, during their vacation Ellara had witnessed a bus crash, she was trying to ensure that no one was hurt. She saw the boy stuck inside the bus crying for help, she could have turned back and returned to her family. But she decided to save him, the boy she saved was none other than Alan. That day changed her fate for the rest of her life. It left her with scars that made her the laughingstock of her school and her family. They called her names making her look like a monster. “Ellara, I owe you my life; I know you won't remember me. I will ensure I pay you for all you have done for me.” “I will have to make sure that I take everything that brought me back to Verin individually.” Alan began slowing down the car and then parked the car. He got down to meet someone, he was looking at him trying to figure out some things before he met Ellara. “It's good to see you are back in your homeland,” The man said as he pulled out a tablet and handed it to Alan. “I came back to take what belongs to me and make sure that my family would have the chance to rest in peace.” Alan looked at the tab as the smile on his face disappeared slowly. “So these are the names of the men who are supposedly behind my family's assassination?” Alan looked at the man, he was a bit confused and wanted to understand what he would be dealing with. “That's all their names,” the man said, looking at Alan as he scanned the paper. “There is something you need to know sir,’ The man tried to say something as Alan scanned through the names. Alan looked at him, unsure what the man wanted to tell him. “And that is?” Alan was looking at the man in front of him. “The Wick family are trying to marry off their daughter Ellara to any man who can take her.” The man blurted out the news. Alan was shocked when he heard what the man was trying to tell him. He didn't understand how he would take the news but it was too sudden. “What do you mean by that? What happened and why are they trying to marry her like that?” Alan looked at the man, he was still shocked that they were planning to marry off Ellara like that since they were not going to be getting anything from her. “According to what I heard it turns out that they are calling her a deformed monster due to the wounds on her body and they do not want to have someone like that in their house,” The man said, he was looking at Alan waiting for him to say something about it but then there was no reply or any retort from him. “Tell me, where did she get those wounds from?” Alan wanted to be sure he was not going to be making a mistake, he was not sure what it would get him if he were wrong but then. “She got it from an accident fifteen years ago,” The man said looking at Alan, he was not sure what it would do if he knew what happened to her. Alan clenched his fists, he didn't realize that the injuries Ellara suffered all those years were that severe. ‘So because of me, you are being treated like nothing? I will make sure that no one will ever make you feel like you are worth nothing again!’ Alan turned to look at the man, “Plans changed, I am going to Wick Family Mansion, I want to take care of something there first. I will handle the other things later when I am back from there.” “Sir, should I tell them that you are coming?” The man asked. Alan paused briefly, “No, I think it would be best if none of them knew that I was coming to pay them a visit.”Expand

Legend Of The Winter Blade Chapter 9
Alan was waiting for the bidding price on the necklace, he didn't pay attention to the others cause he couldn't care less about them. "I take it that's why you're here? You want to take that Amulet?" Susan was looking at Alan and she could see that he was seriously looking at the stage with much concentration. Alan let out a cool sigh, he had a happy look on his face and it was clear as day that he was going to be happy to make sure that there was nothing going to keep him from taking it. "That amulet belonged to our family and it was taken from us wrongly, not only that there are more of the Wayne family heirlooms they are not even putting out on display but then they are planning to sell it, and they would give it to the highest bidder." Alan was not sounding happy when he was trying to tell Susan why the Amulet was important. "So you're telling me that those bozos have something to do with your family's death?" Susan had connected the dots, she knew that he wouldn't be thinkin

Alan was a bit shocked that the lady knew who he was and not just as Alan but as the Masked General.“I know this is a bit weird but I don't know who you are,” Alan was looking at the lady trying to see if he would get anything out of the whole encounter. The lady seemed a bit sad when he said those words. She didn't let that stop her from talking to him, “I knew that there was no way you would be able to recognise me like this but then I wanted to give it a try after I saw you talking to the Mason family driver like you didn't care,” Alan was looking at the lady, he then realised who she was, he smiled a bit when he did. “I never thought the Angel Of Death could wear a gown and look like an elegant lady,” Alan was looking at the stage, he was still smiling when he said it. “So now you recognise me, you are one hard head aren't you?” The lady was looking at Alan, she wasn't looking down anymore. “I heard you came down to Verin and I was curious as to why the legendary blade of ju

Legend Of The Winter Blade Chapter 7
“Are you insane?” The driver was looking at Alan, he was not sure he had seen someone who would know it was them and even think of insulting them like that. “Do you know who I am carrying in this car here?!” The man was looking at Alan, he was expecting him to fall on the floor and plead for his forgiveness. Alan rolled his eyes, he was not happy in any way and he was also not going to say anything other than the fact he was not sorry for denting the car. “I don't care if it was the Emperor you are carrying in your shit truck there, I would give you one advice and that would be to learn how to drive.” Alan was about to turn and walk away. “You bastard, you better stop right there!” The man yelled, it seemed like he was not going to let Alan walk out on him like that. “You just dented Lord Nixon’s car! He is affiliated with the Nixon heir and you dare do something like that and think you are going to walk out without paying for it?!” The driver was persistent and he was not going

Alan walked out of the house, his Mclaren was ready for him to hop into it so they would be heading to the venues he was meant to be at.‘I got a message saying that there is someone in Verin that would hand me my weapons but then I don’t think I would need them.’ Alan muttered to himself, he was not going to be saying anything other than the fact that he was going to look for something that would help him blend in. The auction was in a few hours and he needed to appear there as one of the oddest looking men so they wouldn’t think much of him. “So I really need to carry weapons with me?” Alan asked himself as he entered the car, Ben was seated there he was going to help Alan get to the auction with no problems. “Sir, I also got Intel that the people who are trying to sell the heirloom have connections to the remaining four heirlooms,” Ben gave Alan the run through of what he was going to be expecting. Alan sat in the car, he was sure that there was going to be an opening where he
