The lab went quiet as Gandu left for the basement, returning moments later with a map in his grip. He placed it on the centre of the table, all eyes pinned on what he presented.

"See. This is deep into the continent. Known by the inner indigenes there." He spoke, pointing at the highlighted spot on the map.…"Eldahor."

"I think I've heard of that place once. My parents once left for a pilgrimage when I was younger but I had no idea about the place, only the name." Meena spoke.

"Good." He nodded, then faced David.

"We need to get Solomon's mat or carpet or whatever the fuck they call it. We get it, dissect or tear it into bits and pieces then merge those parts with the gears I've been working on." He stated. David nodded, he understood his mission. The rest wondered why he faced David alone and not them, then he dropped his reason.

They snapped, and the earth rumbled, creating an effect akin to an earthquake. David felt the floor split beneath his feet, and rose immediately to avoid falling into the trench beneath. He gawked as the floor of the arena turned inside out, crisp rocks and dust grinding against each other like the inside hears of machines, turning clockwise and anticlockwise against one another. A pool of lava seeped forth, rising higher than he could comprehend. He floated further above, avoiding the heat wave coming for him. He stopped, watching at the Lava spread to the arena, then suddenly stopped burning, and had become rock, cold, hard molten rock.A new rocky terrain was born, one with cliffs, boulders and trenches.
