In a certain ethereal realm....

Dylan was seen donning the clothes he was wearing at home when he perished in the hands of those merciless terrorists.

He was in a strange desert that was vast and dry but surprisingly it wasn't hot it was rather cool.

"Strangely, this Desert has no heat but it's just the opposite, this is not actually logical as it's common knowledge that a typical desert is a vast, arid landscape with endless dunes and limited sources of water. The weather is scorching hot during the day and cold at night." Dylan reasoned as he explored the strange realm trying to find an exit.

Dylan walked endlessly, but the odd thing about it was that he didn't feel tired in any way or form.

Suddenly a powerful beam of energy descended from the sky, and the ground shook violently as the beam's light dimmed a figure walked out of it.

The figure was clad in golden armour and wore a red visor to conceal his identity.

Dylan felt afraid as the presence of this being shook the very environment with sheer power that couldn't be described.

Dylan started to run in the opposite direction as he feared for his life.

"I can't keep on living like this I don't want to die mehn. Oh my goodness what can I do?" Dylan said as his footsteps took him at a faster rate than he could previously.

"Halt! Dylan halt!" The figure uttered in a loud tone.

Dylan didn't pay attention to the figure's words he felt so much fear because he wasn't sure about his personal safety.

The figure clenched his fist as a bluish glow erupted causing Dylan to freeze in his movements as the figure blitzed towards him.

"Calm down I'm not going to hurt you." The figure said in a calm and calculated tone.

Dylan's face froze with fear as his eyes darted from one place to another.

"Are you sure you're not gonna hurt me?" Dylan inquired as his tone was filled with fear.

The mysterious figure heaved a sigh as he placed his hand on Dylan's shoulder, and the figure's visor increased in its red hue.

Immediately an unexplained calmness washed over Dylan bringing him into a state of peace.

"I'm going to actually help you, Dylan.. Don't run you're not actually alive anymore." The figure said breaking the bad news to him.

Dylan looked at the stranger and he actually believed him because he felt that he meant no harm to him as an individual.

"Okay I trust you sir," Dylan said heaving a sigh of relief.

"Okay, I'll help you and bring you back to the land of the living. Your body will be completely reconstructed and you'll experience a rebirth. You will finally take vengeance on all those who wronged you." The figure responded to Dylan nicely.

"I actually figured out that I wasn't on Earth anymore when I noticed the condition of this stranger Desert that we're in right now," Dylan responded as he stroked his chin.

"I'll help you a lot and I promise you that your life will change." The figure promised as a strange beam of light consumed Dylan like a thunderbolt.

As the light of the beam's energies bombarded Dylan his eyes gave out a white hue and his body pulsated with every passing second.

"Rahhhhhhh. Rahhhhhhh!" Dylan roared as his voice echoed across the empty desert.

The figure nodded affirmatively as he'd noticed something positive during the event of Dylan's empowerment to reach his next level.

"He will be a very strong person when he's restored to life on earth and who knows he may become so powerful that the others won't be able to contend with him." The figure responded looking at Dylan as he roared like a lion.

Dylan's body vanished as the beam of energies dissipated and the figure walked away until it was hit by the same beam, which caused the figure to vanish in the process.

Somewhere in Megalos Central.

A powerful beam of energy hit the ground in the nearby forest at nightime as the industrial city went to sleep, The beam of ethereal energies seemingly reconstructed a human figure and the human figure looked like that of a teenager.

This reconstruction lasted several minutes before the beam dissipated once more revealing Dylan standing alone only wearing his trousers and was now completely shirtless.

Dylan became conscious and it didn't take long before he felt tired and fell asleep on the cold and hard ground.

Dylan was now fully alive and well after his encounter with the stranger.

....

Ryan was now in the hospital preparing to leave as he looked at the large flat screen television in the waiting room.

"Breaking News from Channel Seven. I am Jessica Daniels. After the successful defeat of the merciless terror group known as the Typhoon by an elite squad of well-trained mercenaries by the government, Peace and tranquillity have been restored for all citizens of Megalos Central. The governor of Megalos has decided to give back to the community by rebuilding homes and businesses destroyed by the terrorists. He's also said all families or individuals affected by the attacks will be compensated with twenty million MegaCreds. Megalos is now a safe nation not just for investment but for its inhabitants. This is Channel Seven News." The News Anchor said in a broad but refined British accent.

Ryan heaved a sigh of relief since the terrorists had been defeated by mercenaries sent by the government.

As he walked out of the hospital's perimeter his mind brought up several questions.

'How exactly did those mercenaries defeat these terrorists if they weren't fellow superpowered or enhanced humans?' Ryan said inwardly as he pondered how the government achieved its aim.

Ryan traced his way back to his apartment as he looked around for any familiar faces but unfortunately, he couldn't see anyone.

Ryan arrived at the apartment building and took the elevator to his own floor until he arrived he spoke to no one not even those in the elevator with him.

He entered his apartment and shut the door as he rushed to grab a bottle of water from the fridge.

His phone buzzed in his pocket as he opened it to view its contents.

Ryan's eyes widened in surprise.

A text message read:

"Dear Ryan David you have been credited with twenty million MegaCreds from the state government of Megalos."

"Your account in Maximum Bank has been credited with twenty million MegaCreds. Your account balance is now twenty Million Mega Creds."

"Wow, I'm actually so rich right now. I actually need money right now and at least I don't have to work at that dead-end job anymore." Ryan said relieved that the government actually fulfilled its promises in this regard.

He then received another alert.

"Your account has been debited of the sum of ten thousand MegaCreds by Livingstone Hospital, Your account balance is now Nineteen Million, Nine hundred and Ninety Thousand MegaCreds."

After he'd read through the bank alert he heaved a sigh.

"At least it's a good thing this money came in I don't know how I would've paid for my medical bills," Ryan said feeling a burden lifted off his shoulders.

'System activate the mission! I'm ready for this.' Ryan said inwardly.

The holographic interface spawned into existence at the command of its host.

{Mission Tab}

{Train in the Celestial Realm of Battle for an hour}

{Do you accept this mission Ryan David?}

After a few moments of silence and careful thought Ryan made up his mind to undertake this mission even though it could prove to be a lethal mission.

'I have got nothing to lose.' Ryan said inwardly.

"I accept!" Ryan said determined to discover what lies beyond the world he always knew.

{Host has accepted the mission given to him.}

{Host is now being transported to the Celestial Battle Realm}

{Countdown is in 5}

Ryan readied himself mentally as he was about to walk into uncharted territory.

{Host has been transported to Celestial Battle Realm}

Ryan's body vanished as it reappeared in a completely different world.

The Celestial Battle Realm was a vast and empty savannah dominated with several shrubs and some strange trees that he'd never seen before on Earth.

The sands of this battle realm were purple showing that this was no ordinary place as he looked up the only thing bearing semblance to the Sun was a blue star.

"This place is giving off a lot of strange vibes. I really can't put my finger on whatsoever is going on here." Ryan said as he assessed the area visually.

Suddenly a notification popped into his bluish holographic screen followed by a male voice that spoke to him mentally.

{Your mission is to survive for one hour!}

The moment the system said these words a shift occurred in the atmosphere as several wild beasts raced towards Ryan's direction.

"Summon Lightning Spear!" Ryan hollered!
