Damien would have laughed out loud at Sky’s expression when he peaked out from beneath his paint-drenched eyelids before he quickly shut his eyes again. Especially when the latter wanted to rush over to Damien and he was also conscious of splattering his white sneakers with the pool of red paint that looked more like congealed blood on the floor.

Yes, it would have been hilarious if he was not drenched in the same paint that threatened to choke him as he felt it dried up beneath his nose, over his closed eyelids, the weight weighing down his ruined uniform. Spitting mad was an understatement of what he was feeling at the moment.

Helios' statement sparked his fury more and he could feel the invisible Ring of Origins heated up on his finger and a desire to unleash all it could do on these idiots, his sense heightened and he could hear the bastards that drenched him as they hooted down the hallways as they left the building.
