Safer?

"Turn here," Kelvin said and Henry turned the steering wheel to the direction he pointed.

The drive was mostly silent with Kelvin telling Henry when to turn when he approached an intersection.

Henry had wanted to ask where they were going to, but Kelvin's serious expression as he looked at his phone discouraged him.

He could guess that wherever they were going to, it was important to his uncle. The drive went on for a few minutes until Kelvin told him to stop in front of a store.

"Here?" Henry asked in confusion as he looked at the store.

The place looked shady and it made him feel uncomfortable. It was definitely not a place he would expect his uncle to be affiliated with.

Kelvin didn't reply him but just stepped out of the car and walked into the store. Henry just sat in there wondering if he should follow him in or not, or if he should just leave.

Henry ended up waiting for his uncle for about five minutes and yet there was no sign of him coming out. He was on edge.
