“I’ll be right there. Wait for me there.” Ludwig immediately ended the call and put his phone in his pocket.

This morning, he had dressed neatly in his white shirt. He straightened his hair and then left the room. But he couldn’t see Lyra anywhere.

“Where is Lyra this early in the morning?” Ludwig frowned, looking around. But then he heard a sound coming from the kitchen.

Ludwig stepped closer, and finally saw Lyra busy preparing food.

Ludwig approached her. “Lyra, what are you doing?”

Lyra turned, smiling when she noticed him. “I prepared food for us.” But a moment later, Lyra looked down at the menu. “But I only prepared simple food. I only found this in the fridge.”

Ludwig stared at her closely. “Why did you go to all this trouble? You shouldn’t have to.” He paused. “We can buy it outside.”

“Buy it?” Lyra repeated Ludwig’s words. Then she shook her head. “That’s completely unnecessary. I can prepare food for you.”
