The next day, Ludwig and Lyra decided to take a morning walk. They strolled around, enjoying the scenery of the village. Everything seemed pleasant.

They walked for quite a while, and Ludwig could tell Lyra wasn't physically strong enough. After they passed a park bench, he asked her to sit down.

"Sit down, you might be tired," Ludwig said in a low voice.

Lyra nodded her head in agreement. She followed Ludwig's instructions until she sat down.

"Wait here, I'll be right back." Ludwig quickly left Lyra. He thought about buying her some bread.

It didn't take long for Ludwig to reach the bakery. He was going to buy Lyra a sandwich, knowing she loved it.

Just as Ludwig was about to buy the bread, a man suddenly approached and tried to barge in.

The man glared at Ludwig. “Move over and move back a bit. I have to buy some bread here.” The man spoke in a harsh voice.

Ludwig glanced over, noticing the man in black with a scar on his right cheek. “Everyone has to queue here.”
