The next convoy had arrived. They also got out of the car. Lyra's cousin and the Winter family were also there. They had clearly heard the servant call Ludwig "sir."

Lyra's cousin scratched her ear repeatedly. She wondered if she had misheard. But the servants kept calling Ludwig "sir" and Lyra "madam." This made no sense to her. They were still wondering who owned this house and why Ludwig had brought them all there.

But now she thought differently. She was absolutely certain that Ludwig was there because this was his master's house. She was certain that Ludwig was a servant there. And that was why Ludwig had brought everyone to his master's house.

Leo still didn't understand why Ludwig had brought everyone here. He spoke, "What exactly is he doing here? Why did he bring us all here? Is he crazy? This is such a luxurious house; the owner must be an extraordinary person. And if the owner of this house finds out there's a commotion out front, they certainly won't spare any of us." Leo
