Just a little more... At least until this mission is over, I'll quit and sleep afterwards. But, how many times have I said that sentence today? Ah, I'll really quit after this mission is over, I promise!

For 48 hours, Lein stared at his computer screen without a break. The dark circles under his eyes that seemed to be hit by a heavyweight boxer, were enough to explain how tired he was. If someone sees his condition, then there is no choice for that person but to call an ambulance or mental hospital staff. Lein really needed treatment both physically and mentally.

"Nice! The mission is finally completed." Lein jumped for joy before finally throwing his body back onto the chair, taking a deep breath while closing his eyes, then continued, "With this I successfully completed that crazy customer's request! Raised his rank to the highest level in just two days? Of course all best players to refuse that crazy offer. But, with the amount of money being offered, how can I not be tempted?”

Lein then wore a wide grin on his face, then continued, "But look! I managed to complete the challenge! Nothing is impossible for me, Damn it!"

The challenge was of course impossible. In completing one mission, players need normal time around 1-3 hours, maybe even 4 hours, depending on the level of difficulty of the mission itself. That doesn't include mission failure, which requires the player to repeat everything from the beginning, or maybe take another mission because failure can result in losing the mission itself. Then, how do you complete 20 missions in two days?

Lein got up from his chair, staggered towards the bed, then continued, “Ah, with that money, I'll take some time off and go on holiday abroad. But, no, no! It's much better to use all my time to sleeping. Yes, that's the best for now!"

However, before Lein made it to the bed, his body fell to the floor without warning. He fell to his knees and his vision started to blur. His chest felt an incredible tightness, as if he was being sandwiched between two gigantic rocks. Shortly after, he died from extreme exhaustion.

In Astrada village, tens of people gathered and walked hand in hand; each of the adults carried a torch; looking for an eight-year-old boy named Andes in the late afternoon.

Andes is the only child of an alchemist, which is the only alchemist in Astrada village. In this village, there is no one who can help cure their ailments, apart from Mr. Anderlecht; father of the Andes. Of course there is no reason for them not to help Mr. Anderlecht look for his son, even in busy conditions.

"Judging from the hill, he should have fallen around this place, right?" Anderlecht asked the three boys about the same age as Andes with tears in his eyes. Judging from the panicked expressions of the three, it was obvious they were the cause of his son's downfall. However, Anderlecht cannot directly blame them for not having any evidence.

"That's right, Mr. Anderlecht." One of them answered. Deep down, he truly wished Andes death. It would be terrible to hear Andes directly explain the entire chronology of events to Mr. Anderlecht. Somehow, he felt that Mr. Anderlecht would give him a severe punishment.

"All of you, help me find Andes, he must have fallen not far from here."

Everyone nodded and naturally split into four squads. Seeing that everyone was busy, the three boys took the opportunity to have a brief discussion and came to a single conclusion. They had to be the first to find Andes, then kill him on the spot. Even though the possibility of Andes surviving is indeed very small, it does not rule out the possibility that he is still alive.

[Welcome, Player!]

Lein's vision was hazy, his body was limp and in pain, but something like a hologram that felt very familiar immediately made him aware.

"This sentence?!" It is the opening of the game Malivic World; something like a light blue hologram adorned the eyes of new players.

[Language adjusted, on!]

[The middle-aged man who will appear in a few seconds, will explain everything to you. Rise and become a legend!]

Seeing all the sentences that came out of his sight frustrated Lein! Even in the afterlife I met this damn game! However, before Lein could utter any more curses, a loud sound coming from his left immediately made him sit up.

"ANDES?!"

The voice came from a middle-aged man in a dark green grungy shirt. There was a slight tear on the side of his left arm, giving the impression that he was a hardworking and responsible man; he was none other than Anderlecht. "Damn Kid! I thought you were dead." Seeing his only son in good condition and safe, Anderlecht couldn't help but hug him. "Are you all right? Any broken parts?" Anderlecht let go of his arms; briefly saw his son's entire condition, before finally hugging him back.

Seeing Anderlecht's face, Lein couldn't help showing a surprised expression. "Anderlecht?!"

One of the important missions in Malivic World is the Anderlecht alchemy rescue mission. One of the villages in the western states; Asmovius, the village of Astrada, experienced a massive invasion from the Barbarian race, creating a horrific massacre, in which all of its inhabitants, except for Anderlecht, were killed. Given this important NPC's history, Lein believes Anderlecht does not have a son. Moreover, he is the son of Anderlecht himself!

Lein felt pain in his back, arms, legs, and head. Drawing the conclusion from that, it was certain he wasn't in a dreamland. Is this the life form of the two? "Where the feet stand, there the sky is upheld! This world doesn't seem to be on earth. Doing or saying strange things can raise suspicion. Therefore, staying silent while analyzing this place is the best option for now." Lein chose to remain silent as if he had just lost all of his memories; act like a daze.

Hearing Anderlecht's scream, everyone gathered around him; including the three boys. Seeing the Andes looking good, they looked at each other with terrible expressions, as if they had just received the worst news they could ever imagine.

"I will go home and take care of Andes, he seems very devastated. After his condition improves, I will look for the culprit behind all of this! It doesn't matter who or how old they are, they will definitely get the consequences they deserve," said Anderlecht while glancing at the three boys with eyes threatening. He then carried Andes's body in his arms; took him to the house.

Hence, all the crowd scattered; leaving the dark forest, resuming their previous activities, except for the three boys and their parents.

"What made you so scared?" One of the fathers of the three boys asked his son; the boy Anderlecht previously questioned; Lezzhy.

"Mmm... I-ammmm..."

As if understanding the exact situation, the burly man with bushy beards and a notable scar on his left eyebrow immediately interjected, "I've told you many times, don't overdo it on that weak kid."

Hearing that, the three boys lowered their heads gloomily; exudes an aura of regret.

"I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose. But what if Mr. Anderlecht finds out about it and gets angry? You see, the strange disease my wife has is still not cured until now." The middle-aged man who was next to Lezzhy interrupted.

"Nothing's going to happen. You see that heavy head wound and the reaction that weak kid had when he saw our three children? He doesn't seem to recognize them! He looks confused like an idiot! A heavy bump must have knocked him out of his mind."

Recalling the events just now, all of them nodded in agreement and immediately came to the same conclusion.
