Anderlecht

An old white two-story house with a unique decoration that almost covers the entire front wall, became the place where Anderlecht stopped his steps. He moved Andes' body to his left shoulder, while his right arm began to reach into his trouser pocket one by one; looking for the house key that Anderlecht himself had forgotten where he had put it.

"Damn it! Where did I keep the key?"

Annoyed! Anderlecht chose to kick the door of his house until it broke and fell. When is the repair time? Think about it tomorrow! Andes care comes first now!

"Wow! I didn't expect Anderlecht to be such a barbarian," thought Lein.

Anderlecht jogged lightly towards the kitchen. There, there are two mysterious doors that each have a different color; black and green. A strange color choice for the wood brown kitchen walls.

Anderlecht paused between the two doors. After a while; as if he managed to remember something, he chose a black door. Inside, Lein's nose was greeted by an extremely overpowering repulsive scent. It smelled like organic fertilizer from the manure piled beside his body. Pinching your nose until it turns red isn't even enough to get rid of half of the scent.

The room measures about five by ten meters. On the wall on the left side were long wooden planks attached to display some old books which were arranged at an irregular angle.

Not far from the door, on the right side, was a rectangular wooden table on which were placed several glass jugs and bottles, each filled with liquids and powders of various colors. On the same side, a mattress with wooden supports Anderlecht used to lay Andes' body down and start cleaning his wound.

"Wait a minute, Son. I'll make a healing potion first."

Seeing Anderlecht busy, Lein took the opportunity to observe the hologram that was still floating before his eyes. After everything that happened and observing everyone's reactions, it seemed that only Lein himself could see that.

"Looking at it however, this is clearly the same system as the game Malivic World. And, the contents of this room, those potions, this world is definitely Malivic World. But, what's with this kid's status?!"

"The farm kid NPC I randomly met on the street alone has at least 12 strengths!" Lein was momentarily silent; as if getting some enlightenment, then continued, "Ah, this should be easy because I can raise this kid's status by completing quests. But..." Lein never encountered any quests in Astrada village apart from the Anderlecht rescue quest. Indeed, status can be increased by carrying out certain activities continuously. However, it takes a very long time. What if the attack on the Barbarian race happened in the near future?

Lein shook his head; trying to eliminate all the terrible options that popped up in his mind. "At least this kid has parents who are alchemist. I can raise my status with the help of potions I concocted before."

Shortly after, Anderlecht came with a glass of light blue potion. "Please, Son."

Replying to him with a nod, Lein grabbed the potion and took a sip. Immediately, a notification of the potion's effect appeared from the hologram.

TING! [HP +100 restored]

"This potion increases HP by 10%. In addition, this potion also has a passive effect that regenerates HP by about 2% every 15 minutes. And, I just found out that the taste of this potion is very refreshing."

In the Malivic World game, all player's senses are turned off. This was the first time Lein had personally tasted the taste of the elixir he had previously frequently drunk.

"Thank you," said Lein as he handed his glass to Anderlecht's hand.

Seeing his son's different behavior, Anderlecht said, "What's wrong with you, Son? You don't seem like you are." As a dad, how could Anderlecht not recognize his beloved son well? Even though Lein was using Andes's true form, it still couldn't deceive a dad's heart.

"I completely forgot everything. In fact, I'm not even sure you're my dad," said Lein while scratching his head.

Anderlecht wanted to punch Andes in the face immediately. How could Andes call him so easily without the word 'Dad' in between the sentences. However, Anderlecht held back given his son's condition. "So you also don't remember why you covered your eyes with a cloth and walked towards the ravine of the hill?"

"Huh?! I did that stupid thing?"

"I was the one who wanted to ask that, Damn Child!" said Anderlecht as he raised his hand; ready for one punch, but he stopped immediately.

Seeing Anderlecht's behavior, Lein subconsciously gulped down his own spit. This old man is truly barbaric! "I'm sorry, I don't remember anything at all."

Naturally, Anderlecht's eyes filled with tears at his son's words. "It doesn't matter that you forgot everything, Son. But please call me Dad! It makes me sick!"

Lein felt that it sounded strange. Considering this NPC's history and comparing it to his own lifespan, they were only nine years apart! But, there was nothing wrong with complying with that small request from the person who would help him in the future. "Alright, D-Dad."

Immediately, Anderlecht hugged him once more, but this time even tighter. "Please do that from now onwards, Son."
