CHAPTER -1 YOUNG MASTER

“Take it off darling…”

“You’re so bad, I didn’t take a shower…”

A man and a woman’s voice came from the bedroom as Nicola Redgrave got closer to it. 

Hearing the voice, Nicola almost lost his marble, because he recognized the girl’s voice, it was his girlfriend!

He opened the door and found his girlfriend, Lisa Willock was with another man on the bed, without clothes. This infuriated him. 

They were in an unspeakable position and the fact that they are naked alone is enough to explain the situation. 

"Who dares to barge in like a dog?" The other man asked as Nicola barged in. 

He felt his blood boiling so much, he wanted to strangle the other man right there. Lisa was shocked on seeing him, but the other guy wasn't. 

"Nicola... What are you..." Lisa struggled to speak, and he thought she was scared and regretting what she did. 

"What is going on here Lisa? “You said we could only sleep together after we get married, and now? What the hell are you doing?!" He roared, his voice echoing through the room. 

"He's so loud! Is this your so-called ex boyfriend?" 

Instead of showing remorse, Lisa sneered showing no form of guilt at all. 

"This is so annoying." She finally spoke, sounding annoyed. "I didn't want to do this but you leave me with no choice." 

Nicola did not understand why she sounds annoyed when he's the one who should be angry. The other guy just keeps glaring at him. 

"Meet my new boyfriend, Mark Guzman. He's twice the man you can never be. He's from a very good millionaire family, and doesn't embarrass me." 

“You wanted to marry me? Wake up loser, only a rich man like Mr. Guzman had that qualification to marry me!”

“And you, you could only be a simp of mine forever!” Lisa said ironically.

Her words made Nicola sick. He looked at the so-called Mark Guzman who pointed at the door.  

"You can leave now if you are done watching. You can see we're in the middle of something before you barge in like a dog." Mark mocked him. 

"No, he should stay here if he wants to see more. I don't think he's ready to go yet." Lisa laughed at him. 

Nicola looked at Lisa with disgust, "I can't believe you are so shameless! You don't feel any guilt at all." 

Mark clapped for Nicola, mocking his lament. "You think she's shameless? Do you have any shame yourself?" 

Nicola shook his head, trying to control his urge to pounce on Mark Guzman or whatever his name is. 

"I've been with you for a while now and all I have seen is poverty. How long do you think I can hold out like that?" Lisa defended herself. 

Nicola scoffed, "Is that your excuse? You never complained for once and now you're doing that?" 

Lisa looked at Nicola now with nothing but hate, "You think I am that stupid to be with you forever? I thought you'd be a hidden rich son or something..." 

The truth dawned on him. She was never with him because of love or anything? She only came for money. 

"I got tired when I saw that you have no hope. I have wasted too much time on you. You can't even do anything for me! You are so stingy." Lisa emphasised. 

Mark laughed at Nicola, getting him more pissed off. 

"A poor guy like you does not deserve Lisa. You should be in the streets like the dog you are!" Mark spat at him. 

"You better shut your mouth and stay out of this! This is between Lisa and I!" Nicola yelled at him. 

Then he faced Lisa again, "Are you sure you want to do this? You're going to regret doing this, do you know that?"

Lisa and Mark looked at each other before bursting into laughter. They find it ridiculous that he's acting like he's something. 

"Wow. Even a rat acts like he's something now." Mark stated, he checked his wallet for a few change and tossed it on the ground. 

"Pick that up and use it to buy some food. You look like you need to eat as soon as possible." 

This got Nicola on the edge that he couldn't even control his anger anymore. He got close to them in a fit of rage and landed a punch on Mark's face. 

"How dare you speak to me that way!" Nicola yelled in rage. 

Lisa screamed, jumping out of the way. Mark tried to attack back but he wasn't fast enough. Nicola got on top of him and they started a fistfight. 

"What are you doing with your dog?! Get off him!" Lisa yelled, scared that Nicola might beat Markup. 

They continued fighting and they even ended up on the floor. Lisa did not know what else to do in order to stop them. 

She found a vase and took it. She sneaked an attack on Nicola by shattering the vase on his head. Nicola staggered backwards, giving Mark a chance to attack. 

"I can't believe you are trying to kill my boyfriend, you ungrateful idiot!" Lisa spat, kicking Nicola repeatedly. 

Mark repeatedly punched the weak Nicola and they pulled him out of the room together. They did not care if he was injured. 

"This is good for you. You should be thankful Mark is letting it go, you'll be dead by now if he didn't." He heard Lisa say to him while he sat on the floor. 

"Let him be. I'll deal with him if I should ever see him around you again." Mark added. 

"Is he trying to talk? Just watch him move." Lisa pointed out. 

Nicola was indeed trying to say something to Lisa. He turned to look at her, though his vision is still blurry. 

"Lisa...."

"What? You're going to get up and fight again?" 

"You... You will regret this." Nicola managed to say. 

They both laughed at him. "What? Is there anything we should be afraid of? What exactly can you do?"

"I'll... I'll make you regret...this." Nicola continued to threaten them. 

"You little..." Mark raised his fist, "I should knock some more sense into you." 

Lisa just hated that Nicola is trying to ruin things for him so she stepped in to stop Mark. 

"Let's just leave the pauper here. He doesn't deserve our time." Lisa suggested, pulling Mark inside. 

Nicola could hear everything, how they continued to mock him and Lisa telling Mark all his secrets. He felt so betrayed and disappointed. 

When he felt his vision coming back to normal, he stood up to leave. He could hear his now ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend laughing at him. 

This is definitely something he never anticipated happening to him before. He never thought Lisa of all people would disappoint him. 

She's always said she liked him and was okay with what he has. Could it be that she had this planned all along?

She was with him due to pity and nothing else? How was he so blind not to see this coming in the first place?

He walked through the streets, thinking about it. He felt so helpless that he almost did not notice a car stop in front of him. 

When he looked, it was a luxury car standing. He looked around him, then back at the car. An old man came out of the car, stopping in front of Nicola. 

He bowed to Nicola, “Young master, it's time for you to go back to the family.”
