Killian who was preparing for the eventual clash with the enemies could hear the radio.

"Detective Killian and the rest of the convoy, please be advised that the enemies you are about to engage have a nuclear weapon in their position.

Radiation readings from satellites show a high level radiation spike, likely a neutron nuclear bomb.

We are currently evacuating everyone within 50km of where you are. Sorry to say you are officially on your own, as no more reinforcements are planned to be sent to your location.

So the moment we realize that all of you are dead the place will be filled with an artillery and missile attack.

It is too dangerous to leave a group of invaders with such a dangerous weapon. What is the only good thing about all this is that we will eventually find out who is the power or the group that dared to attack the American soil.

You can rest assured that we will take care of avenging their deaths, but for now I can only wish you good luck."

Killian, hearing that could only laugh. "Well, guys, it seems that today is a good day to die from a neutron nuclear bomb.

If this is our last day, we have to go big."

After those words, Killian placed a USB in the truck's radio and let the music he had played.

'Finish with my woman cause she couldn't help me with my mind….'

As the convoy advanced a few more kilometers, they could see Olivia who was holding her arm as she ran with all her might.

Olivia, seeing the approaching convoy, showed a smile as she held back her tears of happiness. However, her face showed enormous disgust at the sight of Killian's face.

As the armored truck came to a stop, Killian got out of the vehicle and gave Olivia a smile.

"I guess from your face you're not very happy to see me, Olivia. You shouldn't see me that way because at the end of the day, I'm your fiancé."

Olivia clenched her fist and walked towards Killian where she punched him in the nose. Killian just laughed and wiped away the blood that was coming out with his hand.

"What a shitty fiancé I have. That damn blow was for not having arrived earlier and for the death of my best friend.

Fuck you, Killian Flanagan, everything that has to do with you…"

Olivia cut her words off as she watched as Killian raised his assault rifle, at which point Olivia simply accepted her fate and closed her eyes.

At that moment, she could hear a burst of bullets coming out of the gun as the casings fell to the ground, however that only lasted a few seconds before a strong hand from her held her waist.

Later Olivia felt a wet sensation on her lips so she opened her eyes and she could see Killian who looked at her with a cold smile.

"You may be annoying and a burden right now, but I can't believe you thought I was shooting at you. Your value is more important than you think, and your life belongs to me.

You are very important to my future and that of my family. You only have to have a few pregnancies and you will enjoy a life free of worries. I can promise you that.

Stay by my side for the time being, though, as we're going to face some crazy people with a nuclear weapon."

Olivia, who was barely assimilating the information from him, felt a sense of absolute fear of the last words Killian said, so she insecurely asked him.

"What do you mean by a nuclear bomb?"

Killian, who was already settling down to begin the confrontation, took out a cigarette and after lighting it he looked at the corpses of the two men he had killed and who were following Olivia.

"This group of invaders have in their hands a neutron bomb. Basically, it's a nuclear bomb specially made to kill anything that can live, but leaves buildings intact and leaves no radiation.

I guess these bastards are too concerned about ecology to have chosen a sissy bomb, personally I would prefer a traditional nuke or a big Ivan..."

Killian interrupted his words when he could see a lot of vehicles with machine guns arriving on the road. The soldiers and policemen who were ready for the confrontation prepared their weapons.

When the vehicles got too close, they stopped and one of them get out a white-skinned man with black hair who took a few steps while showing a white cloth.

"Gentlemen, we can avoid this bloodshed. You just have to hand over the woman and we will leave without causing casualties. Otherwise, we will detonate the neutron bomb we have…"

A shot could be heard and the man's corpse fell to the ground as his brain matter spilled out onto the pavement.

Killian showed a morbid smile. "You talk a lot for a dead man."

After this, the exchange of gunfire began, while Olivia covered Killian's back in fear.

The enemies, who had a small advantage quickly began to be killed quickly so one of them who had a bullet hole in his stomach walked to the panel of the neutron bomb and with a smile lit the detonator.

At that moment, time seemed to slow down as a huge light emerged. Killian who was watching everything simply closed his eyes and could see through his eyelids the bones of everyone he had in sight.

However, this only lasted a few seconds before a darkness completely engulfed Killian's consciousness as he felt some changes in his body which started at his back.

When he opened his eyes again, he realized that he was in a dirty alley and next to him was Olivia who just seemed to be passed out. Killian looked at the strange place doubtfully, as he knew that he should not have survived the nuclear explosion.

However, while he was recovering, he was able to regain his sense of hearing so he could hear some sort of anthem being played over some speakers.

So with curiosity he got up from the ground and walked to the end of the alley enduring the pain in his body, when he reached the exit of the alley, Killian fell to his knees when he saw the beautiful flag of his country with a hammer and sickle.

"What kind of cursed place is this?"
