"According to our casino's rules, I need to examine you now. I'd appreciate it if you could give me your full cooperation." Miss Delia smiled at Linden. She reached out to Linden and checked him after he nodded in agreement.

The first step in conducting the investigation was to determine whether Linden had any cheating devices on him.

Her hands were very light. When she ran the examination, she covered every inch of Linden's skin. Linden's body was generously touched, including a few sensitive areas.

I'm curious as to how many people would be envious of this kind of inspection!

Linden cast a glance at the back. He noticed that many gamblers' eyes were on fire, as if they were the ones being examined.

Miss Delia continued to examine the gambling table, dice, tools, and other objects one by one after she checked Linden.

"He didn't cheat? How do you explain why he continues to win?" Henry was dissatisfied with the outcome.

"Those with experience can determine the possible number of points through the intensity, sound, and frequency with which the dealer shakes the chest box. A winner that always wins isn't unheard of, it's just uncommon. I believe this gentleman is a seasoned gambler."

Her face was always bright with a smile. Her eyes shone with recognition when she looked at Linden.

"This boy's an experienced gambler? How old is he? You're telling me he's an experienced gambler when he's just a suckling teenager?"

Henry was unconvinced.

"How would you explain this, if he isn't a seasoned gambler?" She asked rhetorically. "Could it be that this gentleman is a sorcerer and used magic?" she asked, looking at Linden as if she was questioning herself.

A sorcerer? The room fell silent as soon as those words were spoken.

Linden fixed his gaze on her. He tried to deduce from her expression whether she had recognized him as a sorcerer or if she had said those words in jest. He watched her for a long time, but she just kept smiling.

This woman is unusual. Linden had come to a decision in his heart. "Why don't you take a guess?" he asked, with a faint smile.

She locked her gaze on him.

Sorcerers were extremely rare in this era. Each sorcerer was rare and precious. As long as they were willing, they could become someone that major consortia and family forces wanted to win over... Was this young man a sorcerer?

"All right, the examination is complete. Everyone, carry on playing your games. Please abide by our rules and compensate this gentleman for the damage done to his reputation."

She pushed her doubts aside and looked at Henry and Vulture.

The two of them had ugly expressions on their faces, but they still forked out a gold coin and handed it to the staff in the end. The staff then handed it over to Linden. She blinked at Linden and turned around to leave after all of this.

"Henry, is that really it?" Vulture gazed at Henry.

"This casino has a deep history. We can't afford to offend anyone, especially Miss Delia, who is from the province. However, young man claims to be a sorcerer and goes so far as to win our money. We can't just let him go like this. We'll make him spit out all the money he won when he leaves the place later." Henry's eyes flashed with a hint of ruthlessness.

"Sure."

Vulture laughed along with him.

Back in the office of the casino.

"Miss Delia!" When Miss Delia returned to her office, she was greeted by an old man.

"What do you think of that young man, Mr. Ward?" She fixed her gaze on the old man.

"He appears ordinary, but he is clearly incredible in that he can put himself in an invincible position in a gambling game. My lady, do you want to cultivate him as a talent?"

Ward was well aware that she had helped the family in the development of talented newcomers over the years. When she inquired about this boy, he believed she was looking for a way to cultivate his talent.

"No! He is different," she said, with a shake of her head. "I detected a magical aura on him."

"Magic!" Ward trembled. "Miss Delia, do you know what it means when you find a sorcerer?"

"Of course I do! If he is truly a sorcerer and can help me, I will rise above my useless brothers in the family. So, I want your help to investigate this young man and find out where he came from," she said calmly.

"Sure." Ward took the order.

Back in the lobby of the casino.

"This kid's on a lucky streak! He has never lost a game. Don't play with him! If you play with him, you will lose your underwear."

Everyone in the casino admitted their defeat after Linden played for three hours, and no one wanted to play with him any longer.

"Boring! I only won thirty gold coins tonight." Linden sighed as he weighed the money pouch in his hand.

"This kid is so irritating!"

"Yeah, he complained that he only won thirty gold coins tonight! Doesn't he realize that thirty gold coins is an amount that few people can make in their lifetime? This damn kid is still complaining that it's too little?"

Those who stood close to him could not help but roll their eyes when they heard his complaint.

Henry and Vulture also gnashed their teeth with hatred. They appeared to be the big winners tonight, but Linden has taken home all of their winnings.

"Let him be cocky for a while. We'll definitely teach him a lesson when he leaves the place."

"Exactly, no one has been able to take advantage of us yet."

They decided that when Linden leaves later, they would make him spit out all of the gold coins he won tonight.

"Time to go!"

Linden lost all interest when he realized that no one was willing to bet against him. He put away the gold coins and left the casino. He did, however, pause a little as he walked away from the place. He could easily sense that someone was following him due to his spiritual abilities.

"Are these people trying to steal my ill-gotten gains?" Linden did not need to look back because he already knew what these people were up to.

His gaze grew cold, but he quickly returned to his usual demeanor. He walked out of the property, acting as if he had not noticed the stalkers following him.

"There's no need for me to hold back if you're going this far." Linden snorted coldly.

"Linden! You're here after all!" A clear voice rang out as Linden walked out of the casino and passed by a brothel.

Becky was furious when she saw Linden, who stood in front of the brothel.

Her father had warned her that this was not a street where decent people would frequent. She did not believe Linden was an indecent man at first. She believed she had mistaken him for someone else, so she came here to confirm her suspicions. She had not been expecting to see Linden standing in front of the brothel as if he had just exited the place.

"Linden! I've been so worried about you lately!" Becky scolded angrily, her face flushed. "You, on the other hand, are unaffected! You're actually having a great time with the ladies here."

"You are?" Linden was perplexed as he looked at Becky.

Who was this young lady who appeared to be his age and had a cute and innocent appearance? Why did she scream at him the moment she saw him? She also accused him of having a good time with the ladies. Did she just lie through her teeth? It was true that he was surrounded by a lot of women, but he did not have fun with them.

"Linden!" Becky became even more enraged.

She admitted that they had not seen each other in quite some time. She also admitted that she had been growing quickly recently and that she appeared to be quite different from before. But as childhood friends who grew up together, how could he have forgotten her so quickly?

This was too much! He had gone too far!

She had even considered visiting him to verify his innocence. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became.

Becky took three big strides forward with her pink cheeks bulging and arms crossed. She walked up to Linden, raised her head, and glared at him from above, followed by a stomp. She then abruptly turned around and walked away, furious.

"Ouch! I remember! You're Becky!"

Linden felt a sharp pain in his feet and let out a cry of pain.

After that, he turned to face the cute girl with bulging cheeks. He quickly remembered that this girl had been his childhood playmate. They used to play games together like husband and wife when they were younger.

How could I have forgotten her?

Linden rubbed the center of his brows. He seemed to have been too preoccupied with cultivating his body and magic recently. He had overlooked a lot of things.

Becky must have been worried about him since she has shown up here to check on him. She becomes enraged because she genuinely cares about him. Linden felt a tiny bit of warmth, thinking about this.

"Becky!" Linden yelled and caught up with her. The girl in front of him paused when she heard his voice.

"Don't leave, handsome lad!" Those working girls from the brothel noticed Linden's desire to leave, so they attempted to keep him there.

Becky, who had stopped in her tracks, stomped her feet angrily after witnessing such a scene and hearing such delicate voices. She left without looking back.

"I don't want to talk to you."

Her voice was lovely, sweet and had a hint of rage in it.

"Why do I feel like she is jealous?"

Linden rubbed his nose.

Henry and Vulture, as well as a slew of other men, trailed Liden as he pursued Becky. A wretched smile appeared on their faces as they looked in the direction where Linden had vanished.

"That girl looked as cute as a bubble when she pouted her mouth just now. What an interesting discovery!"

"Yeah! It's been a long time since I've met such a lovely lady. Based on the way she walks, I'm sure she's a virgin."

"Haha, buddies! We're not only going to get the money he stole from us, we're also going to catch and get a taste of his little girlfriend too. Think of that as the interest on the money he won from us. What are your thoughts on this?"
