216. Black-and-white emotions

The menacing eye of the living demonic sword would strike fear in any opponent. The weapon’s demonic blood synchronized with Gaoth’s heartbeat, completing the bond between wielder and wielded.

“Oh? Finally somethi-” Amryr spoke confidently, until the eye of the demonic blade gazed at him. Then his eyes turned completely white, and he fell on his knees.

“If you survive this, then you really were worth it. Making me draw out my sword, that is.” Gaoth stepped towards the boy.

The sword ripped the ground with its eye, staring at the boy. Its wielder sat down and spoke, “I will wait exactly two minutes. If you aren’t awake by then, I will feed my blade with your blood. It thirsts… I can feel it.”
