Marcus approached his father's bedside, feeling a surge of emotions welling up inside him. He reached out and gently grasped Mr. Thonks's hand, his eyes filled with tears.

"Dad," he whispered, holding his hand.

The doctor walked behind him and stated, "Your father is fighting for his life right now, due to his brain tumor, I am not sure if he will survive it."

Marcus exhaled loudly, he couldn't wrap his head around losing his father.

"Father... you can't go now, you still have many questions to answer, father," he muttered.

But Mr. Thonks's eyes were shut; damn, he gulped down and immediately left the hospital. He uttered to himself, "I must investigate this by myself, directly."

He entered his car and called Kathie.

"Assemble the employees right now and announce my arrival. I will be coming as the CEO today," he stated.

Kathie was surprised as she asked, "Mmm, really... are you ready for this?"

"Yeah, do that right now, right now!" he said with an authoritative tone and instantly hun
