CHAPTER 22: UNEXPECTED TROUBLE.Sitting in front of the dressing mirror, Jessica is getting ready for the meeting with the potential buyers of her company. She just finished taking a shower. As she combed her hair, her mind journeyed far. Although she faced the mirror, it wasn't her image that was before her. The angry faces of the miners were all she could see. Their angry voices re-echoed in her head.She couldn't even address the workers. She didn't have the balls to do so. What was she going to say even? CHAPTER 21: THE HARSH REALITY.All morning, Jessica was home. She decided not to go anywhere. She was exhausted - It had been an eventful evening the previous day as a result of the incident with Samantha's husband. She needed some rest. Michael, on the other hand, had headed out about an hour before this time, leaving Jessica all alone at her penthouse.She binged a romcom after she woke up, barely sleeping for up to three hours. CHAPTER 19: GETTING HIS DUE.Jack looked to the side as he contemplated calling out to him. He felt a strong urge to do what his mind suggested - ridicule him. But he refrained, shoving aside the thought. He wasn't going to bring himself that low. But suddenly, he heard a clattering sound accompanied by a gasp from up ahead, drawing his attention. "I am truly sorry, sir. I'm-""You dumb bitch!" the man yelled, then he slapped the waitress as she tried apologizing. "You spilled food all over me! Do you know how much this suit costs? Your entire salary in half a year cannot afford to buy this." The host quickly rushed over. "I am truly sorry for the mishap, sir. "Such nuisance has gone on for far too long, and I will not put up with such. Everyone who has profited fraudulently by virtue of their privileged position in this organization is going to face the consequences. No one, and I mean no one, will escape my wrath!" CHAPTER 17: MORE CHANGES.Jack's meeting with the Managing Director of Xelia Concept was a really engaging and rewarding experience. Xelia Concept had gone beyond just being a gaming company and was also now developing apps. And Jack's meeting with them was about developing an improved app for Rosker Air, a world-class airline owned by the Rosker Group. The Rosker Group was looking at improving the services of their airline while passengers were onboard a flight, making accessibility to services by passengers easy from the comfort of their seats, without air-hosts or air-hostesses moving around to ask what the passengers needed. With a few clicks, they could make their requests and get them delivered. By the end of the meeting, the feasibility of developing something befitting for Rosker Air was foreseeable.
