Isabella said nothing.

She exited the kitchen and sat on the sofa.

Delphine still brought her some snacks and said, “Have some if you’re hungry, Isa. These aren’t too sweet. The pastry chef modified the receipt and reduced sugar because he knows you don’t like it too sweet.”

Isabella did not take it. She said, “The pastry chef must’ve made it according to your tastes since I wasn’t home. I can’t eat it.

“Even if it isn’t too sweet, I still don’t like it.”

It was not just because of the sw

“Chloe, persuade Laurence to just tell Noelle how he feels.” “Trust me. We have all tried. Mom hasn’t stopped nagging him. My aunt grills him every time she comes to visit. Has it worked? Nope. Laurence is just as stubborn as Noelle. They are two of a kind.” Callia chuckled. “They do belong together.” She and Chloe chatted for a while before turning in for the night. Time flew when they were having fun. A week went by in the blink of an eye. Callia had spent two weeks at Austin’s. Having recharged her batteries, she should go to work. The Yorks were reluctant to let her go to work. They wanted to give her their allowances, which were a lot more than she would earn at work. Koben, in particular, clung to her leg and cried his eyes out, begging to go to work with her. Callia had to settle them all down. Still, she was determined to keep her job at FC & Co. Xavier took his future family back to Wiltspoon. Chester was heading there too. While all was good and well with

With the arrival of the York boys, the O’Connor manor was filled with bustling energy. That night, Callia took her younger cousins shopping. She, as the older family member, would buy some things for them. In the end, the younger York boys forked out their allowances to shower her with gifts. They fought over anything pretty and suitable for her. Callia could not even stop them. The York boys said that the allowance they got every month was more than they could spend, so Callia would be doing them a favor. After a night of shopping, Callia came back, her arms full of purchases. Xavier spent the entire evening drowning in jealousy, but it was not like he could do anything about it. These boys were his future family whom he could not afford to upset. It was late into the night when Callia received a response from Chloe. Chloe explained the truth behind the sweater knitting. Callia could not stop laughing. She sent a voice message gleefully. “Chloe. I bet you didn’t think

Woe was Chester. Why was there only one girl in the family? Chester wished his parents had given him a sister between him and Chase. It would be great if he had a sister. Callia was a cousin, and not just exclusive to him. He had to share his cousin with all the other cousins. However, it would be different if he had his very own sister. That evening, the group returned to the O’Connors’ estate. Aware of the arrival of more York kids, the O’Connors waited in the main house. Isabella cleared her schedule and left work early. Even Louis and Philip were there. With a group of children entering the house, the senior members of the O’Connor family grinned from ear to ear. “Uncle Austin. Aunt Isabella.” The kids said hello. They then exchanged greetings with the O’Connors. Louis went up and took Koben right out of Callia’s arms. He said, “It’s been a while since I’ve seen Koben. You’ve grown so much. What grade are you in now?” “You don’t have time to visit. Of cou

Callia grinned as Koben ran toward her. Just before Koben reached her, Callia got down and spread her arms for him to plunge into her embrace. Though Koben came across as annoying and would not leave her alone at times, Callia still missed the little guy when they were apart. Their bond was something else since Callia practically raised him. She had babysat the other cousins, but none of them shared a bed with her as Koben did. Koben was her absolute favorite. “Callie.” Koben sprinted ahead and threw himself into Callia’s arms. She pulled him close and asked with a smile, “Do you miss me?” The little boy hugged Callia’s neck and replied, “I miss you so much. You didn’t even wait for my school break to come here. I had to be patient to get here. “If the others took any longer, I’d have told Dad to ship me over as cargo.” Callia carried him and said with a smile, “No one’s going to let you travel on your own. By waiting for the others, you can have a safe travel here to

“I can’t tarnish York Corporation’s brand.” Chester pouted. Xavier could go on, spilling his tales. Sinking his back into the seat, Chester ignored Xavier. Half an hour into the drive, Chester rubbed his belly and said, “Callie, I’m hungry. Is there anything to eat here?” “Why would there be food in the car? We didn’t bring any snacks with us.” Callia said, “Dinner is hours away. How are you hungry already?” “He’s hitting a growth spurt at his age. Hunger takes over quickly. I’m not surprised if he takes huge portions too. You’d be amazed at how much a teenage boy can put away. Trust me. I’ve been there.” Back during his own puberty, Xavier had been a bottomless pit due to his active lifestyle and growth spurts. Even though his family was loaded and the fridge was always full, his parents used to stare at him at the dinner table as if he had not eaten in days. Aware of his appetite, the family chef would prepare his favorites and extras, so he could dig in right after

“But if Xavier ever does something wrong and upsets me, I can consider punishing him by making him knit sweaters. He should knit a whole set of them and put one on to watch the snow at Uncle Austin’s.” Chester clapped. “That’s the way to do it, Callie. Make the punishment harsher. Xavier should knit a few for me, too. I haven’t worn a hand-knitted sweater before.” Satbury’s winters were freezing and heavy with snow. Even during the fall, the temperature fell lower than Wiltspoon’s coldest winter.Every winter break, Austin would send the children back to Wiltspoon to spend the season there. Chase and Chester preferred staying there. Though summer arrived early, it was not the hottest city in the country. Mainly, winter was just right. It was neither too hot nor too cold. Even with heating at home in Satbury, stepping outside in the winter was freezing, especially since the Yorks were accustomed to Wiltspoon’s weather. Before elementary school, Chester had even gone to kinder

I feel like each of these story lines need 2 to 3 chapters and just wrap up. Liberty’s issues can wrap up, she marries Duncan, the other relationships work out, Serenity had her baby. Book wrapped up in a week to 10 days.

Too many chapters about the O'corners and the writer seems to have nothing to write. Boring.

A good book would bring ALL the story lines together for a BIG finish! This isn’t even a mediocre book. There is no point, just drone, babble…no substance. YAWN!

Author is just dragging the story out to keep us spending money to get to the ending of a least one of these stories. Now bringing in Longbottom in association with the O’Connors. This is all getting way out there.

Waste of money when you give us these empty chapters. Being strung along is no fun. By now, we should be over the Belinda showdown. Chapters are wayyyy too short. I’m bored with this storyline!!!!!!

I hope Serenity has a girl so we don’t have to deal with another long pregnancy, the younger brothers finding wives and Belinda’s children.

Not even 5 minutes of reading , ugh

I WILL CONTINUE, I AM SO PISSED OFF THAT I JUST SCROLLED THRU THE WHOLE FREAKING ISABELA LINES. I AM OUTTA HERE!! I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR ON STUPIDITY!!!

ARE YOUR WRITETS SO INCOMPETENT THEY are USING SOME STORYLINE

This is really insane, I am going to ignore this book for a while because this is not going anywhere. This writer started off well but now she’s really kinda lost. Not interested anymore, this was my favorite book but not anymore

So dang boring

Move on Move on!!!! At least finish one family.

Move Austin’s story along and serenity should be having her baby soon it’s been more than 9 mos. I have many children and grandchildren and no 4-5 year olds do what Laurence and Sonny say or do. You need to do more research if you’re going to write so much about children.

This is very boring. Please stop writing about this family. If you’re not going to marry them, it’s boring.

Short chapters so inadequate. The writer must be a child.

This is ridiculous I am so over this book.

hurry up.... update till finished.

More chapters about nothing. Please bring the Fishers back in your chapters then go back to Austin.
