Chapter 45: An Elderly Granny's night stroll.

The night was as dark as any, adding an eerie touch to the forests which Elyenora and Mon’Ter were traversing. Tonight, the sky was one nearly completely covered by clouds, thus not even the light of the stars could shine through to bring light upon the forest. 

The only thing you’d be able to see if you looked up, would be the silhouette of the trees’ branches with their many leaves, as well as the soft luminous glow from part of the full moon which would rightfully be dominating the sky at this time, were it not for the aforementioned clouds. 

Elyenora had her horses slowly ride onto the dirt paved road, using two large lanterns at each side of the front seat to help navigate the forest. She was now simply waiting for any sign to pop up and tell her that her destination was nearby. 

One such sign presented itself soon enough, prompting the girl’s reaction.   

“Oh, I think I can see some light flicke
