After Norah had done eating, she felt so satisfied and had to relax with a glass of wine in her sitting room. She had Evelyn Beisde with her.

"You like the meal." Evelyn said to her, even as Evelyn took part in tasting the meal as requested by Norah in confirmation of its delicious taste.

"The chef has always tried to make the restaurant the best." Evelyn confirm.

"I was told the new deliveryman was the one who prepared the meal." Norah spoke.

"He prepares it and, at the same time, delivers it to you." Evelyn wondered, "What happened to the deliveryman? Isn't he around.?"

"He had gone for delivery before I called." Norah answered Evelyn.

" Alright." Evelyn replied to him.

"He looks handsome and smart," Norah said.

"Yes, he is." Evelyn answered, sitting and keeping Norah as a companion.

Just as Norah had requested from Lynn, the first meal, rice and chicken, was prepared and served to Norah at her workplace as demanded.

"I need to eat while getting ready to clear my desk." Norah said to Evelyn in the office.

"Here is your meal," she answered, and Norah handed over the meal to Norah.

While Lynn was filled with joy, she was expecting to hear feedback from Norah.

"I can't compare myself with Lucas, but what I know is that I have tried my best." She encouraged her.

Meanwhile, Norah got the meal opened; she liked the aroma and the taste. "This tastes delicious, but not to that of the restaurant. Am satisfied." Norah closed the meal and called on the cleaner to clear the plate from her desk.

"I will be visiting the restaurant today," Norah said to Evelyn in response to her not being satisfied with Lynn's meal.

"Alright, I will ask the guard and driver to get ready for that." Evelyn told her.

"That won't be necessary, with the bodyguard, the driver, and you being enough to go with me." She answered Evelyn.

Evelyn became scared, knowing how hurt she would be by Mr. Williams Norah's father if he got to know about Norah way about without her guard.

"I am sorry, Miss Norah; I can't allow you to leave without the guard or we to leave without the guard." " This is my only means of survival, and I am happy doing it; I won't want to be sacked by your  father." Evelyn explained her fear.

"I should be led by my subject then, isn't that what you want?" Norah asked her.

"Not really, but with a few of the guards—two at least." Evelyn suggested.

Norah looked at Evelyn's eyebrows and replied to her. "Alright, it is settled," Norah said.

Toward evening after work, Norah set off to the restaurant, dressed so adorablely as her beauty was clearly seen and with a nice smell around her body. She was excorted by her bodyguard, and Evelyn, reaching to the restaurant, Norah was directed by the waiter to a sitting position. Though her present was known,.

"That must be Norah." Sherman said this from his office. And he walked down to meet with Norah.

" Hi! Putting a smile on his face, same with Norah.

"You must be Sherman.?" Norah asked him as they had a handshake.

"Yes, Miss Norah." Sherman answered her politely.

"I am here myself." Norah said to him, and after that, the waiter was directed to serve her the meal she had chosen from the food memo.

Meanwhile, Lucas was in the comfort room, concentrating on how he would settle debt. He had just received a call from the money lender asking him to borrow money for Liam's birthday gift.

"How will I raise the money? Isn't it better to be locked in jail for not being able to pay off my debt.?" "Nevertheless, whatever you want to happen should as well happen." He added it and left the comfort room.

"Where is the food deliveryman you sent to me.?" Norah called on Sherman and asked about Lucas.

"Is anything the matter, Miss Norah.?" Sherman asked surprisedly.

"No, I just want to set an eye on him." She answered him, smiling.

Sherman got his mouth open and said, " Ah!" He exclaimed and added. "He had stepped out."

" Alright." Norah answered; she told him about Lucas being the chef.

"Yes, he has been in the kitchen." Sherman answered. "But may I know a brief reason why you asked about him? I mean, did he commit an offense while delivering the meal to you.?" Sherman is indirectly trying to get Norah's attention.

"I know you want to put more words in my mouth." Norah answered him and smiled. "He has done nothing wrong. And I  am okay with his service; I will like him to always be my food deliveryman." She answered and stood to leave. "I will love to eat the same meal by tomorrow at my office. So you know what to do." She said that and smartly left.

While she left, Sherman pondered. "What exactly is she up to? The Serangoon billionaire daughter.?" He smiled. "I think Lucas has committed while going on with his service, and she might not like to take immediate action on him, but privately. I have heard much about her father and how strenuous he is. Norah might have possessed his nature." He smiled again, walking into his office. "Aside from Lucas committing office and being punished, what else will she be doing with such a poor, hopeless being.?" He concluded.

Sherman called on Lucas.

"Must you always cause trouble whenever you go.?" Sherman asked Lucas.

Lucas pulled away and looked into Sherman's eye, wondering what he was saying. "I didn't get you, Sherman; where is this coming from.?" He asked.

"She insisted that you be the one delivering her meal tomorrow." Sherman spoke angrily.

"Wasn't that your decision? Moreover,  it was included in my job description by you and the Liam family." "Not just that, I wasn't the one who decided such for myself; you did rather." Lucas answered him confidently.

"Is that the reason you have to cause trouble, because I know whatever made her insist that you be the one delivering the meal tomorrow, should have been on offense ground?"

"For the fact that you and the Liam family, as well as others, have underrated me, that doesn't mean that I am troublesome." Lucas answered boldly.

"You spoke back to me in such a manner?" Sherman asked, pointing at himself.

"I am sorry to have done so." " I thought that's the only way I could defend my sincerity." Lucas answered, nodding his head.

"Leave my office now." Sherman pointed at the door.

"I will leave." Lucas answered him and made his way gently out of Sherman's office.

"What a stupid and arrogant person he is.? I am here trying to resolve the thought of my heart toward him from Norah, and here is he being so confident in himself." Sherman aggressively said to himself: Holding on to him.

Lucas stood ten steps from Sherman's office. He folded his hands around his check and pondered. "Is that how I have been underrated by everyone.? Imagine Sherman, who is to acc sinceord me with respect, now describes me as troublesome."  Lucas tapping his foot on the ground. He breathed down and replied to himself again. "I don't blame him, nor do I blame anyone who is found acting like me. I blame myself for loving Renee." He shook his head and left the spot.

"I sense Mr. Sherman is caring about his workers." " That can be confirmed by his curious act, he was so eager to know my reason for Lucas delivery the food to me as told, even when Sherman he exchange Lucas for the first deliverer."  Norah sitting on the sofa at home with her right leg on the left leg, discussing with Evelyn.

"I guess so," Evelyn replied to her. " He had forgotten in hurry about the exchange." Evelyn added

"What do you think a man with great potential like him should be doing as a food deliveryman.?" Norah asked with concern.

"Miss Norah, that baffled me also when I got to know about this." Evelyn replied, lifting her shoulder high. "That's a whole lot of stress on him." She added.

"Exactly, Evelyn. Since he is the chef in all Liam hotel and restaurant investments, He must have been preparing many meals a day, though that might come with the help of a follow chef; even with that, Lucas mustn't be known as a food deliveryman, it is a whole lot of work on him alone." Norah complain. "

Evelyn watched Norah's replies and words; she sensed something special from Norah about Lucas.

"This has never been you, Miss Norah." Evelyn said after her observation. "You speak about Lucas these days; was it to see him that you have to leave for the restaurant today.?"

"Evelyn, I just like him." Norah replied, smiling. "I felt something special about him the very day I set my eye on him and knew that he has such wonderful potential that will as well left him higher than where he is." Norah Explained. "To me, I think why he also served as a deliveryman might be as a result of his special talent, not just in the kitchen but also used as a special deliverman to people like me." Norah added.

"You might be right." " He must have be paid huge amount of money for all his service rendered to the establishment." Evelyn answered. Evelyn and Norah deviated from this and had to talk about the business of the day.

"Get me the laptop; I would like to work on a file before going to bed, since it is not late already." Norah instructed Evelyn.
