While Lucas got ready for the business of the day, he was asked by Renee to make the bed and to arrange the bedroom.

"I'm almost late to work,"he told Renee, "be ready for work.

Renee eyed him, she stared at him from his head down to his toe. "You have no right to turn down my request. All you need is to follow my instructions, otherwise you will pay for it with more denials of salary."She told him, warning Lucas so bitterly.

Lucas replied to her. "What else have you and your family not done to me? You have deprived me of my salary, what else do you want me to take care of myself with? Or how do you want to be scared of your next move with your parents.? It is obvious dear that you don't love me "he said to her boldly.

"You have grown wings to speak back at me."Renee complained.

"I don't have my love, rather speaking from the bitterness in my heart, I haven't been treated right after the wedding, I have been a slave right under the roof that is supposed to be mine also. Am I not your husband again.?"Lucas asked her.

Yet Renee didn't care about what he was saying, instead being stuck to her words that he had to make the bed before Leaving.

"You have the housekeeper to do that. Moreover, you have denied me the same room, why not do it yourself as you get along cheating on me."He added.

"Are you worried? The reason why you think you can make the bed.?"She asked.

"You expect me to be happy watching uu act such on me.?"Lucas asked so bitterly, with his face demonstrating the annoyance in him.

"It is my life, and at the same time my house. Remember I picked you from the gutter."She replied to him.

"I might not have a home when your present picked me. But I remember having a guide who had so much care about me, until death took him away from me."He replied.

"I don't care about your past.,"She replied.

"Go and do as I have told you, because you are running out of time."Renee added.

Lucas, not able to resist the instructions, hurried in mkingthe bed and arranging the room. While he got in at first, Lucas realized how Renee had deliberately scared the room, her cream split on the floor, her bra and path being kept on the bed unwashed, so also the bedsheets scattered.

"What is the meaning of this? Did she lose the sense of not knowing the bathroom?"He picked Renee pants and bra from the bedroom, and had it dropped in the bathroom. "Am doing this for the love I have for her, yet she doesn't care about it. She hates me."He complained.

"Make sure you don't miss the business of the day."Renee told Lucas pointing hands at him.

"If I missed today's business, I have a lot to complain about, and besides, I don't have income after labor, '' he replied, still dressing the bed.

"You have grown wings to talk to me in that manner."Renee told him.

"I haven't Renee, not even a day will I talk back to you in such a manner."He replied to her.

Renee ignored his words that she was in hence to catch up with the business of the day.

However, Lucas got ready for work.

"She has finally made me a housekeeper, is this what I signed for.?"He asked himself, feeling so bitter as he got ready for work.

As usual, Lucas resumed working with Sherman offering him a merry letter.

"You didn't ask for a reason why I am late, all you could do was to issue me a query letter."Lucas complained.

"I don't care about Lucas. Whatever that has kept you, he should have told you that we have lost a lot of customers this morning, simply because you weren't here to prepare breakfast."Sherman yelled at him.

"Meanwhile, get in there and do the needful, again, remember that you will be delivering the Norah launch today, so be fast."Sherman commanded him. Lucas stood and sighted Sherman who was just entering his office.

"If the table she turned, I will make sure you all pay for this."Lucas said to himself while leaving to get into the kitchen.

"His days are numbered, "Sherman said alone, sitting on the chair in his office, and biting the biro in his hands.

Lucas in the kitchen hurried with the meal, which was distributed around the restaurant.

He also got ready for the Norah meal.

"Work as usual."Lucas said with his cap on his head, he walked down the street, this time in a taxi since there was no car at the restaurant to be used.

Sherman from his office also watches Lucas leaving.

"I bet him, his days are numbered."Sherman repeated the same words as he got the window wide looking at Lucas leaving.

Sherman dial Norah numbers, Meanwhile Norah working on some file in her laptop, saw her phone rang, she quickly picked it from the table beside her and replied.

"Hello Sherman, is the meal ready.?"She asked him.

"Yes!""The delivery man will soon be there with you."He replied to her.

"Hope it's Lucas.?"She asked him.

Sherman was shocked hearing this from her.

"Hello, are you there? And I asked hope Lucas was the one delivering my food.? Here should one else the meal will be returned to you."She added.

"We are professional and have served a lot professionally. Lucas is with the meal."He answered her.

"That served it better."Norah said and cut the call awaiting Lucas' arrival, even though she wasn't feeling hungry, she had fallen in love with Lucas' meal.

Lucas, still on his way to Norah's office, wasn't told by Sherman about Norah not being at the office.

"I will make sure Lucas arrives there late, with that, Norah will have to demand for a change of a deliveryman. Since I don't understand what is going on between the both of them."Sherman spoke surprisely.
