Arrival At The Academy

It was a bright and sunny day, and Shian was feeling energetic, he jumped out of bed and cleaned himself up, he put on some clothes and tied his hair back, some weren't long enough to reach the head band and dropped down the sides of his face. He looked at himself in the mirror for a long time and smiled, his glittering sapphire blue eyes, his smooth skin and his tall muscular frame and long white hair made him handsome, he wore a blue shirt and a black pair of trousers, everything coupled together, he looked like an award winning model.

"Damn I'm handsome." He said out loud.

"You wish." A reply came from his side.

Ryan was standing by the door, he had been watching Shian gawking at himself for a while and only spoke when Shian commented on his handsomeness.

"WHAT THE!!!, You're supposed to knock before entering, what if I was..."

"Dude, I can't see, remember?" Ryan cut Shian short.

"I know that, but still, have some manners." Shian said with a dignified expression on his face.

Ryan laughed and they both walked out of Shian's temporary room and made their way to the garden where Grandpa Enzo was waiting.

As they walked out of the building into the garden, Shian's memories where triggered and he remembered some of what had occured during his stay at the mansion.

His question about the location of the mansion was answered, they really where at the summit of a mountain.

Every evening, Shian and Ryan sparred to their hearts content, which always ended in Ryan's loss, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't best Shian —even when he was blindfolded— Shian was that good. Ryan secretly gave him an epithet. The Beast, that's what he called him.

After sparring, they'll seat and watch the sun disappear in the horizon, then they will spar one more time when everywhere was dark. During one of their fights, Shian realized that Ryan could deal mind attacks with his conical hat, all he needed was for the cap to touch his opponent and the person will feel a sudden headache, he also noticed that the longer the opponent was making contact, the higher the mental pain will be.

Ryan revealed to him that the cap was a soul weapon but no matter how much he persisted, Ryan never told him how one could get a soul weapon or how he got his. Shian was so curious, he went as far as asking Grandpa Enzo to tell him what he knew about soul weapons, unfortunately for him, Grandpa Enzo would not tell him and was adamant on not telling him, he told him to wait and let Ryan reveal it to him himself.

Shian was a little depressed about it, but soon forgot about it when Ryan revealed some more things to him about soul weapons. The cap acted as Ryan's eyes, it didn't necessarily give him the ability to see, but with it, he could perceive his surroundings and make out objects, it made him able to 'see' through objects and to some extent even see the flow of energy in both living and nonliving beings.

Shian was awestruck, the more he learnt about it, the more he craved for a soul weapon.

They met Grandpa Enzo standing beside a massive vehicle, it had eight wheels, four on each side, each the height of a full grown man and the width of one meter, no doubt they where thick and sturdy enough to perhaps move in lava and on sharp nails. Those where just the wheels though, Shian looked up and took a good look at the vehicles body, it was covered in several layers of thick metals, each having their own usefulness, each metal compressed together to make it half a meter thick, the vehicle could withstand several powerful blows from an ability user and not fall apart immediately.

The vehicle had a big metal shaped like a Rhinos horn in its front, Shian guessed it was used to clear a part when traversing a blocked road, lastly, on the two sides of the vehicle was the crest of the Blackwill's family on it.

"Come on in boys." Grandpa Enzo's voice drifted into their ears, both boys immediately made their way into the vehicle.

They found Grandpa Enzo at the drivers area, a set of chairs where fixed to the side of the vehicle with seatbelts by their sides. Ryan sat down while Shian walked up to the drivers area and saw several buttons on a console, they where so much Shian guessed that it will take a very...very long time for him to memorize them all if he wanted to, he was already having a headache by just staring at the buttons, he raised his head up slightly and saw the scenery changing rapidly, the vehicle was moving but he could not feel any movement at all.

"This vehicle must have insane shock absorbers." Shian commented.

"Yeah, and there are only twelve of this vehicles model in the whole world. It cost our family a fortune to get this baby right here." Grandpa Enzo patted the vehicle and smiled.

Behind him Shian heard a loud groan and turned around to see Ryan opening a hatch on the ceiling, Ryan tried raising his body up and after some effort he was almost out of the vehicle on the roof, suddenly, he was forcefully pulled down, after trying so hard, he was pissed off that someone had ruined everything, he 'looked' and saw Shian smiling at him, but before he could open his mouth to talk, Shian crouched and jumped without any effort and he was up, on the roof of the large vehicle.

"His physical strength is commendable." Grandpa Enzo commented. Ryan gave him a long angry stare before proceeding to begin climbing out of the vehicle again.

Shian sat on the roof of the vehicle watching as the scenery changing rapidly, it was a wonder that he hadn't fallen of the roof due to the speed at which the vehicle was moving. Ryan climbed up the hatch and stared at Shian before sitting down close to him.

"That wasn't cool man."

"I just had to, you where taking too much time." Shian replied.

They sat there for a while without doing anything. Ryan was lost in thought and was just 'staring' into space.

"This vehicle, does it have a name?" Shian asked.

"Yeah, It's an Advanced Armoured Personal Vehicle. AAPV for short." Ryan replied.

Shian face palmed. "Yeah I know that, I mean does it have a personal name, like a unique name you call it."

"Ohh...yeah, we do, we call it Rhino."

Hearing the word Rhino, he had remembered the two Legendary tier crystals that he had in his space ring and after thinking for a while, he asked.

"Do you know of any blacksmith that can forge a legendary tier beast equipment." Shian asked.

"Yeah, Grandpa Enzo is a blacksmith."

A loud 'da' escaped Shian's mouth.

"But I've...."

The vehicle came to a sudden halt, almost throwing the boys off the roof of the AAPV, just ahead of them was a large thick black round gate with the carving of seven different weapons arranged in a circle on it.

They had arrived at the academy.
