Unknown to Alucard, his Ability had caused the defence of one of the Second Years, whose fort was defending, to crumble into dust, a never seen before scene. Though he had accomplished this easily by sending out a ball of Pulverizing Death Charge, they hadn't escaped easily. They all crashed on the ground simultaneously and coughed up mouthfuls of blood. It seemed like one of the seniors had an invisible attack, or an attack that was just so fast it escaped their vision. Shian, Adam and Alucard had it worse, they were the closest to the attack and hadn't even seen what happened before their danger sense tingled and they shot back, still, they suffered injuries. "Shit!" Adam cursed as blood pooled beneath him. And Ironically, Shian, Adam and Alucard who were the closest were the ones who recovered fastest. Their Vampiric Genes gave them healing traits, though not as strong as one would expect, but still fast enough for them to recover faster than their peers. Alucard stood, dusted h
Everyone stopped to take a look at who had just spoken... then Adam burst into a fit of laughter, rolling on the ground and alternating between wheezing, coughing and shedding tears. He had been holding his laugh all the way from Shian's encounter with the behemoth Beasts, and now he had heard another joke of the year, how could he not laugh?"Shian... Smite?..." Shian asked, his face turning red from anger and embarrassment. Why was everyone embarrassing him lately? Who had he wronged? And why the hell was he called Smite?!! "Sorry, we don't know who that is?" Shian said after some seconds of pause. "Huh?! But you meet the perfect description given to us." The boy who called Shian's name wrongly, pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and began to read out loud. "Long white hair, Pale White skin, Blue eyes, Lean physique, Sharp jawline, Long..."With each word spoken, Shian's anger didn't quell, neither did it increase. He had the urge to punch the member of the Slumbering Pred
Shian trudged forward silently with a deep frown on his face, Adam behind him was trying his best to hold back a laugh, causing his black face to turn beet red. Alucard didn't mind the duo, he minded his own business and moved along steadily. Shian turned to stare at the Double Bladed War Scythe in his hands and mumbled some words to himself. Earlier, he had tried to make the Metal Symbiote devour one of the behemoth of a Beast he had seen during their first hour in the Myriad Scapes Dungeon. The beast was obviously the large mountains that no Beast dared get too close to. His joy knew no bounds when he saw the Symbiote began to move towards it, but just as quickly as he got happy, he became horrified. The Symbiote was thrown back by an invisible force and collided with Shian, knocking the wind out of him. Immediately after, he head a voice in his head."Get Out."Never had Shian been so pissed and embarrassed in his life. The blatant disregard of the Beast was like a tight slap
Shian danced on his feets like he was crazy. The thing on his face writhing like the mass of flesh it was, but having a sturdy feel to it that made Shian's face deform under its movements. With some efforts, Shian was able to push it off and distance himself. His weapon in hand, Shian prepared for any sudden movement. Blood and sweat drizzled down his face, painting a wild image of him. If anyone saw him right now, they'll be sure to run for their lives because of the look he was giving and how hard he was clenching his Kusarigama. The Symbiote on the ground squirmed and squished, making Shian shudder in disgust and causing goosebumps to erupt on his skin. "Shian." Alucard and Adam who had been watching Shian all this while, finally came towards him. Alucard's smile was a bit wider than usual, but Shian wasn't in the right state of mind at the moment to notice such a thing. "That thing that repulses you, is a Symbiote, a Metal Symbiote to be precise.""...How do you know that?" S
Fatigue hooked the three boys and refused to let them go. Their legs quivered, forcing them to sit down for a moment. Shian gasped for air, he was in dire need of some oxygen and rest. He had pushed himself to his limit again and outdone himself this time. Rarely was he put in a situation were his life was on the line and only he could save himself. Luckily, Adam and Alucard were there for him, and though they fought for their own survival, they still helped him in a way, and together, they were able to overcome the horde. 'The egg is hatching!' Shian remembered. The egg had been expelled from the System Storage onto the blood soaked ground in front of him, and he could see energy orbiting around it. The pitch black Energy with strands of ghostly green mixed in it, swirled around the egg in a mystical fashion. The egg seemed to react to the Energy and began to greedily absorb it. Soon, the red markings etched on the eggs surface began to show signs of cracks. The black part of th
Shian's eyes widened in shock. The Lesser Griffin was indeed the scaled Beast he was searching for, only that due to its ability to retract and unsheathe its scales at will had confused Shian. "MOTHER.FUCKER!!" Shian exclaimed loudly. He applied ten layers of Chaos on his Kusarigama, causing it to vibrate uncontrollably.Shian used his strength to disrupt the Lesser Griffin's body, not giving it the chance to fly away. His Kusarigama was raised high in the air, its blade vibrating violently as a grey aura coated it.The Beast felt danger, it screeched and roared at the same time, its wings beat powerfully as gusts of Air and Ice shards shot out from its body... but it was all for naught. The Kusarigama left an after image in the air, mixed in with some tidbits of lingering Chaos Energy. The result? At first, the scales appearing slowed down the Kusarigama's penetrating strength, but soon the pristine white scales turned grey, dull and lifeless, cracked, and then shattered behind the
Two beams of concentrated Dark Energy shot out of the two balls in Alucard's hands, pulverizing everything in its way and turning them into dust. Adam didn't lose out, he used his Berserker skill with the energy he had recovered in conjunction with his Ability to deal 2x more damage than he could before. Shian leaned forward with closed eyes, his breathing steadied as he's took a low stance, he took a deep breath and exhaled... then his eyes shot wide open. Shian suddenly saw the battlefield in another way, initially Alucard had just said a few words to him and hadn't given him any leads on how to achieve the task he gave him, but if he looked at it the right way, Alucard had given him all he needed to know what to do. All Shian had to do was focus on the blood only, and the System would do the rest. Perhaps Alucard didn't know that he had a System that could simplify things for him, that's why what should have taken Shian a week or two to grasp what Alucard taught him, he did it
Energy billowed around Shian, creating a beacon of some sort that attracted more wild Beasts to their location. Alucard and Adam lay sprawled on the ground beside Shian, with no energy to move after being blasted to the ground. The wild energy coming off of Shian's Kusarigama was that unsettling, and it made the air around colder and threatening. None dared come close to the dome of cold air and bright light, even the Beasts attracted there could only stop and watch. Shian, the epicenter of the occuring event, sat with his gaze laying on the single weapon floating before him. He watched as the energy trickled into it and began to change almost everything about it. The handle of the Kusarigama which was just half a meter previously, had now lengthened into a one meter thick pole. The lackluster blade hummed and vibrated, before also growing a bit longer, matching the handle's length perfectly. The blade gained a silght, almost unnoticeable, blue hue to it, and its designless body
Shian struggled to supress a cough, if he mistakenly let out the cough, he'll loose his ability to breath which meant instant death. Alucard knelt behind Shian with a nonchalant expression on his face, his expression looked too weird and bizzare in the situation. For one, Shian was dying in his arms, but he didn't react like he was expected to, neither did he do anything, he just stared at Shian's face.Secondly, Adam was practically shooting towards him like a red bull and was about to harm him, but he still didn't react to him.'Someth.. thing .. wron..g.' Shian managed to process through his broken mind. The feeling he was getting was unlike any he had ever felt before. The feelings he was having was both real and in some way, also just a thought, a thought that he could easily dispell. Had he had this feeling before? That was hard to tell when his mind was broken. But one thing that plagued him was Alucard, why there hell was he staring like he couldn't read the room and act ac
