[Hacking successful]

“Ahh…Finally.” He slowly leaned back and dragged both hands down his face.

“Now let's see what you've got.” A tired grin appeared on his face.

Adrian began exploring. At first, he didn't find anything particularly interesting. Some university documents, a few games, pictures from parties, and messages.

Then he found something that made him stop, a folder. He clicked it open. There were dozens of private photographs.

“Well, well… I never thought you liked swordplay.” Adrian made a disgusting face.

Then a new panel appeared.

Adrian blinked as a slow grin appeared across his face, his eyes moving between the system panel and the private photographs he had discovered on Gunther's computer while a particularly dangerous thought slowly formed in his mind.

“Ah… System, don't give me naughty ideas.”

The moment he finished speaking, Adrian burst into laughter, his voice echoing through the quiet bedroom as he leaned back and covered his face with one hand. He continued laughing for several seconds before finally forcing himself to calm down, although the mischievous grin never completely disappeared from his face.

Adrian slowly moved his fingers toward the keyboard. After several more minutes—

[Hacking successful]

A few minutes later, Adrian uploaded several of Gunther's private photographs onto his own I*******m account, changed the password, and removed Gunther's access entirely, ensuring that he wouldn't be able to immediately delete anything or regain control of the account.

Adrian leaned back and made a satisfied grin.

Tomorrow, campus will be in complete fucking chaos.

He glanced toward the clock in the corner of his laptop screen. 2:39 A.M.

“Fuck! I have class at nine tomorrow."

He rubbed his tired face and yawned, but despite how exhausted he was, he couldn't bring himself to regret what he had done. For the first time in his life, Adrian had something worth staying awake for.

Adrian grabbed his six-year-old Android phone from the nightstand, and as the cracked screen lit up, he set an alarm for eight in the morning before dropping the phone back onto the mattress.

Adrian pulled the blanket over himself and closed his eyes. It took him less than thirty seconds to fall asleep.

Ring! Ring!

Adrian groaned as the alarm woke him out of his sleep, and his hand immediately moved blindly across the mattress while his fingers searched for the annoying device that was ruining the only decent sleep he managed to get all night.

After several seconds of searching, his fingers finally found the phone, and Adrian grabbed it before blindly slapping at the screen until the alarm finally stopped.

Adrian kept his eyes closed for another ten seconds, desperately trying to convince himself that he could sleep for another five minutes without consequences, but then his brain reminded him that he had class at nine.

Adrian sat up and stretched both arms above his head until his back cracked loudly, then let out another enormous yawn as he dragged himself out of bed and walked toward the bathroom.

The moment he looked into the mirror, he stopped. His shoulder-length blond hair was sticking out in every possible direction. He looked like he spent the entire night fighting a war. Which, technically, wasn't entirely wrong.

“Still handsome.” Adrian stared at his reflection for several seconds before slowly nodding.

Adrian turned on the shower, but the moment the cold water hit his face, his entire body jumped backward.

After a few seconds, he adjusted the temperature and finally stepped underneath the warm water, allowing himself to relax as the heat slowly washed away the exhaustion that had been clinging to his body since he woke up.

After taking a quick shower and brushing his teeth, Adrian dried himself with a towel before returning to his bedroom and changing into a worn-out olive-colored hoodie, black jeans, and black sneakers.

He had always preferred darker colors. Not because he was particularly interested in fashion, but because dark clothes were practical when you were poor.

Light-colored clothing showed every faded patch, stain, and sign that the clothes had been worn too many times.

Dark colors hid the wear and tear far better, allowing him to look slightly less broke than he actually was.

It was a small thing, but when you had grown up counting every dollar, small things mattered.

Adrian grabbed his old laptop bag and headed outside.

Not long afterward, Adrian arrived at the University of Chicago, where the campus was already filled with students rushing toward their morning classes. Groups of friends stood around talking, some students walked quickly with coffee cups in their hands, and others sat on benches while staring down at their phones.

Adrian entered his classroom a few minutes before the lecture began and immediately headed toward his usual seat, the third seat from the back row. He had deliberately chosen that spot months ago.

The first few rows were occupied by students who actually cared about their grades, the kind who took notes, asked questions, and looked directly at the professor whenever he spoke.

The very last two rows were usually reserved for troublemakers, chronic sleepers, and students who had given up pretending that they were interested in the lecture.

Adrian didn't belong to either group. He simply wanted to be invisible. So the third row from the back was perfect.

He was far enough from the professor that he wouldn't attract unnecessary attention, but close enough that he wouldn't look like he was deliberately trying to hide. Sometimes, it actually worked.

Adrian placed his bag beside his chair and glanced around the classroom. Something immediately caught his attention.

Gunther wasn't there.

Did he see the posts already?... Or is he sitting at home trying to figure out what the fuck happened to his account?

A grin slowly appeared on his face as he was still wondering what kind of chaos was happening inside Gunther's house when someone suddenly appeared beside his desk.
