A grin slowly appeared on his face as he was still wondering what kind of chaos was happening inside Gunther's house when someone suddenly appeared beside his desk.
“May I sit here?”
Adrian looked up and saw Kaitlyn was standing beside him, pointing toward the empty seat next to his.
“Sure, usually it's empty.” Adrian blinked.
Kaitlyn smiled and took the seat beside him. As she settled down, Adrian glanced at her for a moment.
Well, this is a nice surprise.
He quickly looked toward the front of the classroom before his eyes could linger too long. The classroom gradually began filling with students, and the noise level increased as everyone settled into their seats.
Then Adrian heard two students whispering a few seats away.
“Did you see Gunther's uploads last night?”
“Yeah. What the fuck was that?”
Adrian immediately lowered his head slightly, pretending to look through his bag. The corner of his mouth slowly lifted.
It worked.
He had expected the posts to spread quickly, but hearing students already talking about them first thing in the morning was even better than he anticipated. He had to physically stop himself from laughing.
Poor Gunther.
He was still enjoying the thought when the classroom's main door suddenly opened and Gunther walked inside. The moment he entered, several conversations immediately stopped. Heads were turned and eyes followed him.
Gunther seemed to notice the attention, but he didn't understand why. His eyes eventually landed on Adrian, and a smirk appeared on his face. He walked directly toward Adrian's desk.
“I heard you got fired yesterday.”
There was something almost amusing about the situation. Gunther had walked into the classroom expecting to humiliate him again, completely unaware that half the campus was probably already laughing at him.
“Yeah, I did.” Adrian slowly looked up at him and leaned back in his chair.
“That's what happens when you don't know your place. You should've learned yesterday that people like you don't get to talk to people like me however you want.” Gunther's smirk widened.
Several students nearby became quiet.
Adrian stared at him for a second before opening his mouth.
“Speaking of yesterday, I heard you like sword fights.” He smiled.
“What?” Gunther's expression immediately changed.
“I said, I heard you like sword fights. Apparently, you're quite enthusiastic about them.” Adrian's smile widened.
For a second, nobody reacted, but then someone in the back row suddenly burst out laughing. Another student followed. Then another. Within seconds, several people were laughing loudly.
Gunther stood completely still. His face slowly turned red.
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
Adrian leaned back in his chair, enjoying the confusion on Gunther's face.
He still hasn't checked.
That realization made the situation even funnier.
Gunther looked around the classroom, completely lost as more students continued laughing.
“What's so fucking funny?” Gunther's eyebrows furrowed.
“I just heard you're a very... adventurous guy.” He made a completely innocent expression.
The laughter immediately became louder.
“What the fuck does that mean?” Gunther's face turned bright red.
Before Gunther could demand an explanation, the classroom door opened again, and Professor Robin stepped inside, carrying several books under one arm.
“Come down, boys and girls.” He stopped when he saw the students laughing.
The room slowly quieted.
“Whatever is so entertaining, I'm sure it can wait until after class.” Professor Robin walked toward his desk and placed his books down.
Gunther was still standing beside Adrian's desk, his face filled with confusion and anger. He looked at Adrian one last time.
Then he turned around and went toward his usual seat as Adrian watched him go before quietly shaking his head.
That was easier than I expected.
He was still looking toward Gunther when Kaitlyn suddenly poked his shoulder. Adrian turned toward her.
“Okay, what was that?” She leaned closer and lowered her voice.
“What was what?” Adrian raised an eyebrow.
“Don't play dumb. Gunther started talking about you getting fired, and then you said something about him liking sword fights, and suddenly everyone started laughing.”
Adrian tried not to smile while Kaitlyn narrowed her eyes.
“Adrian.”
“Fine. I got fired yesterday because of Gunther.” He lowered his voice.
“What? Wait, seriously?” Kaitlyn's eyes widened.
“Yeah.” He nodded.
“Ahem! Unless the two of you have discovered a revolutionary new method of learning that involves whispering throughout my lecture, I suggest you save the conversation for later.”
Kaitlyn opened her mouth to ask another question, but Professor Robin suddenly cleared his throat loudly from the front of the classroom.
“Sorry, Professor.”
Kaitlyn immediately sat straight while Adrian lowered his head slightly to hide his smile.
Professor Robin gave them a suspicious look before turning toward the board and continuing with the lecture.
“I'm asking you about this after class.”
Kaitlyn leaned closer to Adrian again and whispered, making it clear from her tone that she had no intention of letting him escape the conversation this time.
Adrian glanced at her with a faint smile, clearly amused by how determined she was to get answers out of him.
Kaitlyn rolled her eyes and turned her attention back toward the professor, although Adrian could still see the curiosity written all over her face.
Adrian leaned back in his chair and allowed his eyes to wander toward Gunther, who was sitting in his seat while desperately tapping away at his phone as though repeatedly refreshing the screen might somehow undo everything that had happened.
Adrian watched him for a few seconds and immediately noticed the exact moment Gunther finally realized what was going on; his breathing became noticeably heavier, his fingers tightened around the phone, and the confident expression he had worn when he first entered the classroom completely disappeared.
For the first time since Adrian had known him, Gunther looked genuinely terrified.
Adrian leaned back in his chair as his smile became slightly wider.
You reap what you sow.
At 10:30 A.M., Professor Robin finally wrapped up the lecture, and the moment he dismissed the class, Gunther immediately shoved his books into his bag and rushed out of the classroom without even bothering to look any direction.
Adrian watched him disappear through the door and couldn't help but smirk.
“Now, tell me the whole story.”
Kaitlyn poked Adrian's shoulder as soon as Gunther was gone, her curiosity returning immediately because she had been waiting through the entire lecture for him to finally explain what had happened between him and Gunther.
“Did you eat your breakfast?” Adrian looked at her.
Kaitlyn blinked, clearly caught off guard by the sudden change of subject.
“No, I didn’t have time this morning.”
She shook her head, wondering why Adrian was suddenly asking about her breakfast when she had just demanded an explanation about something completely different.
“Then let’s go to the cafeteria."
Adrian stood up and grabbed his laptop bag, casually hanging it over his shoulder as though he hadn't heard her question at all.
“Adrian, don't you dare change the subject.” Kaitlyn stared at him for a moment.
“I'm not changing the subject. I'm changing the location where we're going to discuss the subject.” Adrian started walking toward the classroom door, completely ignoring the suspicious look she was giving him.
“That's literally the same thing.” Kaitlyn quickly picked up her bag and followed him.
“No, it isn't. You're hungry, I'm hungry, and you're about to interrogate me about my personal life. I think we can all agree that food should come first.” Adrian shook his head with complete seriousness as he walked beside her.
“You're unbelievable.” Kaitlyn stared at him for several seconds before shaking her head.
“I have been told.” Adrian glanced at her with a grin.
“Fine. We'll get food first, but after that, you're telling me everything.” Kaitlyn rolled her eyes, but she couldn't stop herself from smiling as they walked down the hallway together.
Adrian glanced toward her and smiled as they continued toward the cafeteria.

Vice President's Office
“Adrian.”A voice suddenly came from beside their table, making both Adrian and Kaitlyn immediately jerk backward. While Adrian turned around to find a male student standing there with a slightly awkward expression, clearly regretting the fact that he had interrupted them at exactly the worst possible moment.“Y—Yeah?” Adrian looked at him.The student shifted his weight and glanced between Adrian and Kaitlyn as though he could feel the tension he stumbled into, then cleared his throat before speaking.“The university's vice president was looking for you. He told me to find you and send you to his office.”“The vice president?”Adrian's eyebrows immediately furrowed, because as far as he knew he had never spoken directly with anyone that important, and he certainly couldn't think of a reason why the university's vice president would suddenly want to see him.“Yeah. He said it's important.” The student said with a nod.“Did he tell you why he wanted to see me?” Adrian's expression beca
Breakfast with Kaitlyn
The cafeteria was already crowded when Adrian and Kaitlyn walked inside, with students filling most of the tables and the entire room buzzing with conversations, laughter, and the occasional loud clatter of trays against the counters.Adrian glanced around the room and immediately noticed that finding an empty table wasn't going to be easy, especially since most of the better spots had already been claimed by groups of students who were either eating breakfast or pretending to study while spending most of their time talking.“Looks like half the university had the same idea we did.” Kaitlyn looked around the crowded cafeteria with a small sigh, clearly disappointed that they might have to squeeze themselves into one of the remaining tables surrounded by noisy groups.“Don't worry. I'll find us a good spot.” Adrian looked around again, refusing to accept that he had come all this way only to end up sitting beside a group of freshmen screaming across the table at each other. They joined
