My Life in Prison

Chapter Six

Charley looked at Jack intently and said, "Okay, that's good if you don't have a question." Jack made sure nobody was watching as he switched the F001, because if someone saw him, they might turn it off and they would both end up back in prison.

Jack asked, "What if someone sees me?" Charley answered, "The only possible way is to take their life." Jack was shocked, "What are you talking about, taking someone's life? Do you think I'm a murderer?" Charley tried to calm him down, "Jack, the chance of someone catching you in that room is almost impossible.

So, if someone goes to that room, they must have a mission. You have to shoot them. Don't you want to be a billionaire? Billions of people are storing their money in the bank, and they don't even use it. Here, I struggle to get five shillings, and others have billions. We have to do this, don't fear shooting someone, and don't fear being shot.

Do you understand, Jack? This is our chance to get billions of money. Think about it tonight and go to bed." Jack left the kiosk and ran back to the Arom bar, deep in thought.

Inspector Ondula called a meeting with the staff after addressing the prisoners. He announced some changes in the system. Firstly, he stated that the passwords would be changed to fingerprints and his fingerprint would be the only one required to access the system. Secondly, he said that he would add 100 new recruit police officers to help manage the prisoners on Sundays, as some of them might attempt to stage a strike.

One of the staff members, Alphonse, also known as "Commando" raised his hand and expressed his opinion. He agreed that adding more recruits was a good idea, but he was not in favor of changing the passwords to fingerprints. The inspector reminded Alphonse that he was the inspector and his decisions were final.

The staff members had no choice but to go to bed, as it was late. The inspector then went ahead to change the system from passwords to fingerprints mode.

Jay hurried after the spider, grabbing its shoulder. "Why are you happy while everyone else is sad?" he asked.

The spider answered as it jumped, "I want to go with you. I can help you find switch F9 and give your group new ideas about the bank. I've worked there for a long time, but joining your group would be a problem. I can also give you a medicine to win back your beautiful Helena."

Jay was taken aback by the spider's words. "How will you give us ideas about the bank?" he asked.

The spider replied, "It's simple. I'll give you a small microchip. Put it in your ear, and you can ask me any questions you have. I'll give you indirect ideas."

Jay considered the offer, then asked, "What's in it for you if we succeed?"

The spider looked at Jay and answered, "All I want is freedom. You'll give me that when you move me out of here."

Jay nodded, and the spider said, "Let's get some sleep. We have to leave early tomorrow."

The following morning, as the prisoners were making their way to the entertainment hall, Jay was busy packing their belongings. Once Spider finished packing, he went to confront Odhimbe at the entertainment hall. He ordered the DJ to stop the music, and when the music stopped, Spider started to threaten Odhimbe. He told Odhimbe that he didn't care about his position as the leader of YUDA and that he could beat him until he called for his mother. The entertainment hall became quiet as everyone listened to Spider's provocations.

Odhimbe smiled at Spider and said, "Young man, stop being foolish by drinking too much legend. Can you get a grip, men?" He then asked the DJ to continue playing the music, which the DJ did, and the music grew louder.

Spider then went back to Jay, who had packed everything and was ready to go. Jay suggested pressing the button now so that they would have an easier time escaping when they arrived at their destination. However, Spider reminded Jay that they had a plan, and the plan was to press the button immediately upon arrival.

As they were talking, Jay mentioned that he thought that Spider was trying to escape. Before Jay could finish his sentence, Spider interrupted him and said, "Yes, everything is secret. Even you, I wasn't supposed to tell you, but I did because you're my friend."

At 5pm, Spider's heart sank as Odhimbe appeared at their door. Odhimbe said, "Young man, I don't know if you've lost your mind coming here to threaten me in public. Today, I want to show you that I can deal with you without my men."

Spider looked at Odhimbe and ran towards him, delivering a round kick and a double kick. However, Odhimbe jumped and countered with a strong flat kick, sending Spider crashing to the ground and unable to get back up.

When Jay saw what had happened, he quickly knelt down and raised his hand in surrender. "Please, I don't know how to fight. Forgive me," he begged. Odhimbe approached him and gave him two hard slaps on the head, causing Jay to fall to the floor. Odhimbe then left, saying, "Those who don't know how to fight deserve that."

The two men were in pain and unable to get up to close the door. "I regret coming to this damn prison," Spider told Jay as he tried to recover.

"No, Spider, this is not the time for regrets," Jay replied as he struggled to stand after being knocked out by the slaps. "Becoming a billionaire is not as easy as you think. You have to struggle to get it."

On Saturday night, Luke, Helena, Jack, and Charley met at the kiosk to come up with a plan to rescue their friend Spider. However, tensions were high between Helena and Jack as they had an argument the previous night, which Charley was unaware of.

Charley stood up and thanked everyone for coming in time. "Tonight, we'll come up with a plan to rescue Spider. We'll also decide whether we should proceed with the rescue or not," he said.

He then went on to explain that during their entertainment, all the prisoners wear yellow uniforms. Charley had already purchased three of these uniforms for Jack, Luke, and Helena. Charley himself wouldn't be joining them on the rescue mission as he would be directing the operation from a safe distance and would only come to their rescue in case of an emergency.

"We have to be prepared for anything, good or bad," Charley continued. "There's no going back now. Either we all go or none of us do. We can't leave Spider in jail and we can't end up in jail ourselves," he said, looking at Helena.

Helena, who had been quietly observing the conversation, suddenly spoke up. "That's right, Charley. We can't go there and end up in jail like Spider. That was the plan, wasn't it?" she said loudly, looking at Charley.
