Chapter 15

Dillon's action caused the eager eyes of the customers watching him turn to that of disdain. But what were they even expecting? A pig can't fly, can it?

“What is that? Don't even come up with the stuff about forgetting your card at home, it's lame and old. Were you really planning on absconding with the food?” James hissed in amusement.

“So you're not just poor, you're also a thief. That's probably how you managed to get yourself a new set of clothes. See, you should be thankful I warned you of him. Otherwise, you would've lost your job!” Rachel told the server who got Dillon's orders.

The server also got nervous. She wasn't new to this job, but she hadn't really heard of anyone who tried to pull such a stunt in a place filled with so many people, so she wasn't wary of it happening.

She was grateful to Rachel. Otherwise, her stupid oversight would've led to her being fired from a job that paid so well.

While James and Rachel had other mocking things to say, Dillon kept wondering
