“Did you erase everything?” Ethan asked as Mason drove past the police officers and the ambulance.

“Yes, boss. Nothing can lead back to us.” Mason nodded firmly. However, he glanced occasionally at Ethan in the backseat who still held onto Eva.

On the other hand, Ethan was not worried. His other men had all left and now, all he had to do was to go see Ray. He had finally avenged Ray’s death but somehow, he felt like it wasn't enough.

All Ethan wanted to do was torture Killeen before he would finally kill that bastard but Eva had intervened. He looked at her, sleeping peacefully, and wondered just how she was able to get to that gambling den before him.

In his heart, he started to think maybe it was finally time, to let her go so she could stay away from him and not sabotage any other dangerous situations.

Soon, Mason drove to the mansion, and at the gate, two cars were parked and as soon as Ethan’s car got nearer, one of the cars opened and Chairman Davis stepped out.

Getting into the bidding hall, Ethan roamed his eyes around for the lady in the red dress. Her presence was one which would capture attention however, she was nowhere to be found. The earlier suspicion he had rose a notch higher and he immediately whispered a few words to Mason. “Look around for that lady. She has to be here somewhere...” “Yes, boss.” Mason didn't need to be told anything else. He had already launched an investigation into the unknown lady after all, she was never supposed to appear at the bidding event. Her presence must mean something. As he left, there was a ruckus at the entrance of the hall and as Ethan looked behind him, he saw Chairman Davins walking in with a serious expression. The other bidders were very surprised to see him, their hopes visibly trashed that they were going to win the bid after all, the Davins Group had a lot of cash to throw around. But as Chairman Davins passed through, he spotted Ethan among the group of bidders. “You?” He pointed

Ethan froze, a feeling of disbelief washing over him. “You are what?” He frowned, looking up at her. “You heard me.” She shrugged, looking proud and sassy. “What did you expect when you have been knocking me up for months now?”An evil glint flashed in her eyes, her resolve intensifying. The guilt in her for doing this was starting to dissipate when she saw Eva still acting like an innocent flower behind Ethan. “We have to talk,” Ethan said, knowing it wasn't the right place. She visited the OB/GYN section in the hospital without even consulting him.“No, we are saying whatever is needed to be said, here.” Erin opposed it immediately. “Since I am pregnant, I am keeping the baby. And you should know I wouldn't like other women around me.”“So, you know what to do, Ethan.” She sneered. “Erin!” Ethan uttered her name, a certain anger rising within him. But she had already turned away, to leave. Eva stood back behind him, looking very confused. “Mason, take her to the guestroom,” Eth

Aria watched, jealousy gnawing at her heart as Ethan carried Eva straight out of the house. The thing she dreaded the most was happening. She had to stop it…“Dad, aren't you going to stop her? Do you really believe that she is crazy and magically she gets calm when she is near Ethan?” Aria cried. “Well, what can I do? It’s what she wants?” Chairman Davis sighed. “But Ethan belongs to me.” Aria insisted, hoping they wouldn't rob her of the happiness she had been trying to build. “Well, he never claimed you.” Chairman Davins shrugged. He had silently hoped that Ethan would at least get together with one of his daughters but he didn't expect it to be Eva. Since it was her, he couldn't do anything else. Aria clenched her fists, her eyes turning red in anger. She couldn't let this happen. The twisted pain in her heart wouldn't let her rest. Now, she wanted him. • A New Life

An hour's drive to the Davins mansion was long and grueling for Ethan. He had never been shaken by anything in such a long time but faced with Eva’s predicament, he realized he wasn't invincible yet.Yes, he was powerful and he had a System that aided him but it didn't mean he was all-knowing. He had some limitations. And at this moment, no matter how he asked the System the way forward, he was only met with silence. As he parked in the wide driveway, the door to the mansion opened and Aria rushed out in a skimpy nightdress. “Ethan! You are here!” Her eyes were red and puffy like she had gone through a major turmoil overnight. “You are here to see Eva, right?”“Don’t worry, she is only acting up. There is nothing wrong.” She held his arm as they walked in together. She wasn't holding him for support but for possession. She wanted to walk in and show her place by his side. As they did, Ethan didn't answer to her, knowing she could never understand what was going on. But as he made

In the Davins mansion…“Miss, I think you need to come check on the second miss.” A maid rushed into Aria’s bedroom while she was brooding over Ethan’s absence. Somehow, to her, she had gotten so in love and attached to him and now, she could do anything to go be with him. Also, the thought that her sister Eva was probably naked with him in the restroom earlier irked her to the bone. She wondered if Eva had tried to seduce him and coil her way into his life. No matter what, she couldn't let that happen. Eva already had a taste of Ethan, it was time for her to get him. “Why should I check on her?” Aria snickered. “She is not a child, is she?”“Yes, but she seems…” The maid trailed off, afraid to say what was on her mind. “Seems like what?” Aria frowned, irritated that she was being disturbed. “She seems crazy and she keeps calling for Ethan.” “What?” Aria gasped, rising up from the vanity table she sat before. “Ethan?”“Yes.” The maid nodded. “I think you should…”Before the maid

  • The Davins Group Is Getting Scammed

Chairman Davins was escorted by his assistants, flagging his sides, and as they approached Ethan, the old man’s eyes lit up. “Did you bring back my daughter safely?” He asked. “Yes, Chairman, I did.” Ethan nodded, knowing he was referring to Aria. “Good.” “Are you leaving then? You should stay for dinner, shouldn't you?” The old man suggested. “Well, I don’t think so…” Ethan shook his head, however, he had to speak to the Chairman about the West Valley property. Somehow, Ethan knew there was a lot going on that he didn't know about. “I have something to discuss with you about, Chairman Davins.” He spoke up, his eyes gazing at the assistants. “In private, please…”Immediately, the assistants perked up, and they refused to leave the old man’s side. “Don’t worry, you can say whatever you have to say.” Obviously, Chairman Davins saw no issue with the assistants’ presence, and Ethan didn't insist on them leaving. After all, they must all know about the West Valley lands. “About th
