Ignoring The System
Maya’s rage-filled face spelled danger in Daven’s mind and just like he had thought, she went crazy. In the blink of an eye, she stormed in between the crowded students, rushing toward the road with an oncoming car. “Maya…” Daven muttered, and then his voice rose a notch higher. “Maya! Sure enough, Doctor Blackman was on the committee and as soon as his eyes met with Daven’s, he looked away.
