Chapter 1: Summoned To Otherworld

ALDRIC was trembling as he groveld on the cold floor in the classroom. Due to his fatness, his uniform was on the verge of tearing, barely containing his larger frame.

There were also signs of footprints on his uniform, mix with blood that was from the wounds hidden in his uniform.

He was surrounded by the students who wore the same uniform as him.

"You bastard! I told you to get me apple juice, not grapes!" Drake yelled and kicked Aldric, who was trembling and defenseless.

"You fucking pig! Why are you so useless?!"

It was a group bullying. Aldric was beaten and kicked many times that he could barely breathe.

His other classmates only looked at him with pity and didn't dare to do anything to save him. Some of them were afraid, and some weren't bothered.

"I-I'm sorry! The apple juice was expensive and I couldn't afford it—"

"Shut up, pig! Did I permit you to speak?!"

Suddenly, Drake grabbed his hair and lifted Aldric's face as he was coughing violently.

"P-Please, stop it already…"

"Shut your fucking mouth, you piece of shit!"

Once again, a kick landed right in Aldric's face. His consciousness grew hazy, and he felt like he could pass out at any moment.

"You fucking pig!"

A sharp knee kicked Aldric directly in the face. Blood stream from his nose.

"Haha, this is fun! Look at his face!"

"Haha!"

"What the fuck is that face?! That is not a pig but an Orc!"

Girls from Aldric's class laughed as they took pictures of him with their smartphones.

This was a common occurrence in Aldric's life—being subjected to relentless bullying and humiliation had become routine for Aldric.

It isn't fair and it isn't right, but no matter how angry that makes him, there's nothing he can do about it.

'Beady little eyes and a piglike nose. My face is bloated with fat and covered with pimples and freckles. It's a given that I would be bullied. I'm the ugliest in this class,' Aldric bitterly thought.

There has been nothing but unfortunate things that happened in his life. He was abandoned by his parents, and have to work ten different jobs to pay for bills and meals, and at school, he have to suffer like this.

He can not even leave because of his scholarship. He want to live peacefully, that is all.

"What do you think you're doing!?"

A woman's voice echoed across the room. Drake and the others paled when they heard that voice.

It was only natural. After all, it belonged to the girl they were all afraid of, Elara.

The most beautiful women in their class and the most powerful. Her family not only owned this school but almost all the buildings in the city.

The beautiful Elara with her long black hair with one braid tied with a pink bow as well as brown eyes entered the classroom.

"Aldric!"

Elara ran over to Aldric, who was still in the same position as earlier.

"E-Elara… we were just—"

"Save your breath! Do you know what will happen to you if you do this to one of the students of my father's school?" Elara calmly interjected. "My father will not let this slide!"

Aldric wanted to be happy that he was saved but he knows what will happen to him soon after when Elara will be gone.

He will be the subject for jelousy.

'I'm being saved by her again, and this will make everyone hate me more. Nothing is good in this trash life of mine. I wish I would just die and be reincarnated in another world.'

Just as Aldric said these words, suddenly a glowing silver circle engraved with various geometric patterns formed on the floor of the classroom, and it slowly grew bigger until its light enveloped the entire classroom.

Everyone, including Aldric, was staring at the weird glowing pattern that, for lack of a better word, looked just like a magic circle.

"W-What is this?"

"What the hell? Is that a magic circle?"

"Is this some kind of school event?"

The magic circle began to glow brighter and brighter, and the circle began expanding until it, along with its light enveloped the whole room.

"Oh, Goddess, thank you!"

"The Goddess has heard us!"

"My queen! The summoning ritual is successful! We have summoned the heroes from the other world!"

'Ugh! It hurts! What happened? There was light and...'

Aldric felt a piercing pain in his head, as though someone had ruthlessly lashed at him with a hammer again and again.

"You are trying to tell me that we're in another world?! What the hell?! Don't joke with us and bring us back! This won't go unnoticed by my father!"

A familiar voice made Aldric shudder in fear and abruptly open his eyes, and saw Drake with robust and intimidating appearance and angry, piercing eyes that were a shade of deep brown, filled with hostility and arrogance.

As Aldric looked around, his classmates were arguing and shouting with each other. Some were trembling with fear and comforting wach other.

'What is happening?'

Then he found himself and his classmates in what seemed to be a castle from medieval times.

He was struck dumb at the sight of his surroundings.

Walls made of brick and the floor adorned with intricate patterns in a style unfamiliar to him—he was in a grand castle—a throne room.

He turned his head and saw on his left and right sides and saw people in grey robes looking at him and his classmates in awe as if they were looking at a rare treasure. They were holding a staff that mages usually own.

The next thing that he saw were niches in the walls held lamps that illuminated the room with a warm glow.

"You have all been chosen!" a voice rang out.

Aldric raised his head and saw a beautiful woman with a narrow waist accentuated by her breasts, whose size would overflow in your hands, a fierce and calculatedly beautiful face, her red hair that flowed down to her waist, fine skin, and finally, her sapphire eyes.

She was sitting on a throne, wearing a red medieval gown, and on top of her head was a crown with red jewels. Three knights who wore full metal armor stood on each of her sides, holding a silver sword.

"Who are you? Are you the one who kidnapped us here?" Elara asked. She was clearly terrified like everyone else, but she still put her emotion in place.

"Of course, let me explain. I am the one who summoned you here, after all," the woman said. "Let me introduce myself. I am Queen Seraphina, ruler of the Kingdom of Eldoria. You have been chosen by the Goddess to be our saviors. The heroes foretold our ancient prophecies."

'Hang on—a goddess? Queen?'

Some of the boys started whispering frantically.

"Heroes? Is she talking about us?"

"Whoa, so this is, like, one of those isekai stories?"

"Totally!"

"So…it's the trope where the whole class gets summoned, huh?"

Aldric widened his mouth slightly.

He had grown up reading web novels and had often fantasized over such scenes.

However, he momentarily found it hard to accept the situation when he found himself in one.

"Let us hear what the situation is first," Elara said, taking a deep breath.

With that, Queen Seraphina started to explain everything to them.

In summary, this world is not the Earth.

This world is Eldorwyn, and ten years ago, the war between humans and demons ended.

The Demon King was defeated, but in the process, the heroes were killed in action.

With the death of the Demon King, they thought that they would finally live a life of peace, but the death of the Demon King brought unforeseen consequences.

Before the Demon King died, he cast a curse on this world and then destroyed the moon, and the disappearance of the moon had become the curse haunting Eldoria.

Every night, as darkness enveloped the world, monsters emerged from what they called 'Gates', and these monsters wreaked havoc across the world.

Thanks to their technology, they were able to predict when and where the next gates would open, but it didn't stop the monsters at all. No matter what they do, the monsters are too overwhelming and strong for them to defeat without the heroes.

The world population halved, the crops were destroyed, and the once fertile lands were transformed into barren lands.

The loss of resources caused a war between the kingdoms, and more people died.

The queen said that there were five kingdoms in this world: her kingdom, Eldoria, the Kingdom of Lyrathos, the Kingdom of Sablethorn, the Kingdom of Astoria, and the Kingdom of Drakoria.

The loss of resources caused a war between the four kingdoms and was put to a halt when the Gods and Goddess spoke of heroes from another world who would arrive and bring an end to the curse that plagued the world, a fragile alliance had formed among the kingdoms.

And although there were five kingdoms, the Kingdom of Eldoria was the strongest and the safest, thus the reason why the heroes were chosen to be summoned here.

"May the Goddess guide us and grant strength to the heroes she has sent," the queen concluded with a somber yet determined tone. "Now, hero, you must accept your fate!"

"Then, after we finish defeating the curse, can we go back to our world?" It was Elara who asked again.

The Queen stared at her before she answered, "Yes, I promise."

Everyone sighed in relief after hearing the Queen's answer.

"If you don't have any questions left, then I will have to explain everything that will happen to you from now on. But first, we must check your stats to determine if you are a hero or someone we don't need," Queen Seraphina said and motioning to the elder in a robe.

'Don't need? What does she mean by that?' Aldric thought, he felt like the Queen could not be trusted, but it was as if he was the only one who heard those last words as he didn't hear his classmates question what the Queen said.

The elder nodded, then pointed his finger at something, and suddenly, an orb appeared on his hand.

'Is that spatial magic? This is really a fantasy world,' Aldric thought.

The elder walked towards Drake, causing Drake to cautiously back away.

"Hero, place your hand on the orb," the elder instructed.

"Why? What the fuck is that thing?" Drake asked as he eyed the glowing orb warily.

The elder, with a calm and reassuring demeanor, replied to Drake, "This orb holds the power to reveal your true status to everyone. If you are truly a hero then you have nothing to be afraid of."

"I see."

With a deep breath, Drake stepped forward and placed his hand on the radiant orb.
