His phone made a beeping sound as a sign of an incoming message and his eyes screened through it almost immediately.

His lips broke into a smile almost immediately as it could only mean one thing, he was one of the two companies that the Heath family was going to partner with.

Evelyn could see the smile on his face which seemed weird and she could not help but inquire what exactly was going on.

"Is there good news that you wish to share?" She placed her hands on his shoulders with a smile hovering on her lips.

"I guess that we should leave now. It's no longer worth it laboring for a VIP seat..." He could not even get to finish his statement before her face tightened into a really deep frown.

"But why?" She could not help but inquire.

Getting a seat in the VIP section could only mean that they would be able to interact with the new heir, something that they might not be able to get again for a long time.

And if things worked out for them just as Theo had planned it, they would be able to get what they had always wanted, a partnership with the largest and most successful business empire in the city.

Her heart was racing fast as though it was going to burst as she continued to stare right into his eyes and that only made him smile.

"Did I ever tell you that you worry too much?"

"We have already gotten what we have always wanted?" He chimed in

Her jaw dropped immediately. He knew that Gerald was always swift with getting whatever he wanted bi he never expected this to be so fast.

"It's a joke right?" She was still finding it difficult to believe the words that he just spat out from his mouth.

But without saying another word, he pushed the phone over to her, and her eyes screened through every single detail of it.

"Wow!!" She exclaimed.

"So you see, I already got it and now, I would be able to fight for yours." He Smiled pushing her closer and kissing her on her forehead.

"I have to go now." He noted that she nodded her head.

He got into the car and zoomed away quickly, shaken by the excitement that flooded into his bloodstream.

Soon, he could see the company just before him. He took a perfume and sprayed It all over and after that, moved his tie right in place.

His graceful walk was filled with more pride than class.

Knowing his way around, he nosed through the stairs and found his way to the manager's company, and with a walk, he announced his presence.

"Come in." The delicate voice streamed out from the other end of the room.

He pulled the door open and walked gradually into the room with a smile, taking his seat right before her.

"Good day, ma'am." He greeted, stretching his hands towards her to get a handshake.

Her hands surveyed his hands with a scornful frown and he pulled his hands away almost immediately, getting the message that she was trying to pass across to him.

"I got the message from the company." He noted trying to pull out his phone from his pocket but she stopped him before he could even get the chance to do that.

"There would be no need for that." Her silence was rather depressing, as though she was trying to hide some emotions away from him.

"Okay. So ma'am. About the cooperation, I can tell you that my company is really capable and we are going to put in our best to make the best of this." His words flow but the expression on her face tightens as she shoots a weird and confused stare at him.

"What are you talking about?" She inquired.

After his young master informed her about her he was badly maltreated by the fool who was standing right before him, She had taken the issue so personally.

And from the sight of him alone, the initial hatred that he had harbored only rose to a whole new level.

He was taken aback by the response that he gave to her as he continued to stare at her confused and short of words.

"I..I.." His words broke into long stutters and the expression on her face deepened.

"I thought that I got the urgent message due to the successful Application?" He inquired, getting even more confused.

She paused for a while, stretching the whole of her body forward towards him and the silence for him was like an eternity.

"What do you think of this group? An organization of fools? Is this some sort of joke you?"

She was still trying to recover from the shock when he threw the paper to the floor angrily containing the files.

He was already fidgeting as random thoughts ran through his mind about what could actually do.

"I'm really confused ma'am. Can you please tell me what my company did wrong?" He could no longer help it but inquire.

"Are you asking me right now? After you prepared a whole bunch of fake achievements in your resume?" 

"And what were you even thinking? That we are never going to find out? Do you think that we are that dumb?"

"But there is nothing like that ma'am?" He returned and her face squeezed deeper into a frown.

He paused for a while knowing how powerful these people were. He could not get himself into their blacklist or it was going to be more than just a cooperation...

They could squash his whole business within a few days.

And for that, he knew that he had just one of those things that she said.

But it was just one and his adviser had told him that there was certainly no way that they could find out anything about it.

"Bum! Bum! Bum! He could feel his heart beating loudly on his chest and his face broke down in cold sweat.

"And I am more than assured that your silence means nothing other than the fact that I am saying the truth? Right?" She returned to the project that she was working on.

He walked over to her and tried to plead with her. He knelt beside her and she yelled at him.

"And what are you trying to do now? Do you even realize that we have CCTV cameras littered all around?" She frowned.

He gasped seeing the message that she got.

"I am going to call security if you don't leave right this minute and you know exactly what that means right? You are going to rot in jail." She threatened him.

There was absolutely nothing that he could do about it now 

He pulled the documents away from the floor and walked away slowly

From the perception of what happened, he could tell that there was a lot more going on behind the scenes.

"Could there be someone that was working hard for his downfall?" His subconsciousness voiced out from the inside of him.

Random thoughts ran through his mind. He thought about how he was going to face Evelyn now.

He did get the co-operation and there was certainly no way that he could help her now.

Just then, he heard his phone making a beeping sound and at first, he ignored it because he thought that it was from Evelyn.

"Not now." He hissed, placing the phone on vibration mode and returning it to his pockets.

He continued to walk towards the car until he got to it and he stepped into it.

There he noticed that the vibration continued multiplied times.

At this, he knew that it certainly could not be Evelyn since she already knew that he was coming there.

"Then who could it be?" He thought in his head.

He brought out his phone slowly from his pocket and his eyes scanned through the Caller ID.

It turned out to be the secretary from his company and he hissed loudly.

"Just a few minutes and you can run the company?" He thought as another long hiss escaped from his mouth.

He picked out the phone and the sound of it was rather disturbing and distressing as though the company had suddenly gone up in smoke.

"Sir, there is trouble." He heard her saying and his heart almost jumped out from his chest

"Trouble? What trouble caused me to leave the company In good faith." His voice was rather tense.
