Stephen could already sense the air of pride rising from his lips and he was certainly going to make him pay for it.

"And what makes you think that you will be able to afford the front seat?" He inquired.

Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, Gerald burst out into laughter almost immediately.

"Are you a real fool?" He could not but clutch his hands around his stomach for a while, rocking hard with so much laughter.

Stephen squeezed his face and walked closer to him making him stop laughing almost immediately

"And what do you think it is that you are trying to do?" Gerald inquired. 

"I promise you, this certainly will not be Like the other time when you had the time to mess around with me. This time, I am going to make sure that you pay every DM bit of it. Not only losing your job."

He stared at him for a while and brought out his cell phone from his pocket. He knew that Gerald was a billionaire but he didn't know the kind of business that he was into.

His fingers swayed through the body of the keyboard as he screened through his name on the search button.

"Ding." The results of the search popped on his screen and he went through it as soon as he could.

It turned out that he was a CEO under his father's company after all and he was paid a huge sum of money.

A dark smile hovered on his lips as he returned his phone to his pockets.

"What are you trying to do? Why don't you just Walk away from my life already scrumbag?" Evelyn was saying but he ignored her comment as he turned towards Gerald.

"I thought that you left me for someone's potential but the only thing that I can see before me is some worthless piece of thrash." He added making Gerald walk towards him with so much irritation in his voice.

He walked towards Gerald and the only intention that he had in mind was to beat him up.

Instead, Stephen stared at the guards that were littered all around.

"I don't think that you will deer Come hit me with all the guards around right? Don't you want a good reputation with these people?" She shot a stare at him, making him stop right on the spot.

But he would not listen to a single word of Stephen as he continued to advance towards him.

But He was held back by Evelyn who shot a stare at her. "I don't think that he is Worth giving this person a bad impression since we are looking forward to their partnership tonight, just let him go." She said to Gerald and that was enough to return him to his right senses.

"Thank your stars today."

"I think that it should be the other way around. You should only thank your stars."

"I am going to make sure that you pay after this." He noted but he was ignored by Stephen.

"When things start turning around. Just know that I am the cause." He returned to him.

He knew already that soon, they were going to start searching for him all over the city so he had to leave as soon as he could.

But he already had plans for that Fool called Gerald. While he walked away, he pulled out his phone from his pockets and reached out to Helena.

"Good day, sir." She picked up the phone almost immediately as though she was already expecting the call and he could feel the Reverse on her voice.

"Can I help you with anything sir?" She inquired further.

"Yes, I just need some quick information from you. Now tell me. What cooperation will the business group be having?" He inquired.

Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, there seemed to be a sudden pause and he could not tell what exactly it was.

"Are you still there?" He pulled his phone ear from his ears and stared at the caller ID which was still active.

"Y..es sir." Her words broke into a stutter and he could notice the forced breaths in between.

"Are you okay?"

A deep sigh escaped from her mouth as he forced herself to answer the question hoping that she was not going to get into any form of trouble

"Sir, your father informed you that I should brief you on the details. He wanted to choose the company that was most suitable for you. But I haven't been able to reach out to you sir, I am sorry." 

"There is no need to apologize. I just need to know more about it and the top three listings." He added.

She seemed to be searching for something. A few minutes later, she was back on the phone.

Her heart was racing fast as though it was going to burst through from her chest.

So our business empire wants a Lowe company to make them stronger. So we have a ton of applicants but topping the group is Gerald." She explained but that was enough for him already.

She was about to proceed but he stopped her from doing so.

"I don't think that there is any reason to Togo further. Already got what I wanted." A dark smile hovered on his lips.

"Now I want you to do something really important for me. I want you to invite him over to your office. I will be there in a few minutes." He said.

"Okay, sir. I will do as you have said right away." 

"And one more thing, you have to do exactly as instructed. I guess it's time to make someone have a taste of their own medicine."
