Chapter 1
The King of Blackstone
“Kill him!”
“Break his bones!” “Show him who runs this place!” Chaos erupted inside Blackstone Penitentiary, the most dangerous prison in Greyhaven. A hulking inmate stood in the center of the yard, his prison uniform soaked in blood. He had already sent seventeen men to the infirmary, and he wasn't finished. “I’m the new King of Blackstone!” His name was Darius Vane, a convicted mass murderer who had arrived less than five hours ago. He kicked a metal bench across the concrete. It slammed into the door of Cell 001. The entire block went silent. Then the steel door clicked open. A young man stepped out. Tall and lean, with messy black hair and tired gray eyes, he looked more annoyed than threatened. He stretched, yawned, and glanced at Darius. “Hey, bulldog.” Darius stared at him. “I’m trying to sleep.” A few inmates lowered their heads. They already knew what was coming. Darius didn't. “You talking to me, kid?” Elias Crowe rubbed his eyes. “Who else has been barking?” Darius's face twisted with rage. “I’ll kill you.” He lunged. His fist came toward Elias's head with enough force to crack concrete. Elias raised one hand. One finger stopped the punch. Darius froze. He pushed harder. Nothing happened. Elias sighed. “You could've behaved like a good dog.” He touched Darius's forehead with one finger. “Now stay down.” BOOM! A shockwave exploded through the corridor. Darius was launched backward and crashed into the concrete wall. The reinforced surface cracked beneath the impact. He dropped to the floor. Dead. Silence swallowed Blackstone. Elias looked at the body, then at the inmates staring back at him. “Clean that up.” One inmate immediately nodded. “Yes, Master Elias.” “Back to your cells.” The inmates obeyed without hesitation. “I'm taking a nap.” The doors began closing. Blackstone had been a cage for monsters long before Elias arrived. Murderers, cartel leaders, war criminals, traffickers—men too dangerous for ordinary prisons. Then Elias Crowe entered Blackstone at sixteen. Three years later, the riots stopped. Five years later, gang leaders bowed. Eight years later, the prison had a king. But Elias wasn't feared only because of his strength. He could heal. Broken bones. Internal bleeding. Injuries prison doctors couldn't treat. His hands could destroy a man just as easily as they could save one. The inmates eventually gave him a name. The Saint of Blackstone. They feared him. They respected him. And, strangely enough, they trusted him. Elias turned toward his cell, already irritated that his nap had been interrupted. Then a voice stopped him. “Mr. Crowe.” Elias turned. At the far end of the corridor stood Warden Marcus Vale, flanked by two armed officers. Marcus was a powerful man, but tonight there was no authority in his expression. Only desperation. “I need a minute with you.” “Tomorrow.” Elias opened his cell door. “I haven't finished my nap.” Then— Thud. Elias stopped. He looked back. Marcus Vale was on his knees. The two officers behind him stood frozen. “My daughter is dying.” Elias's expression changed slightly. Marcus swallowed. “She was healthy six months ago. Then the seizures started. Her nervous system is failing. Her organs are beginning to shut down, and every specialist we've taken her to has failed.” His voice cracked. “We've tried everything. Hospitals across Greyhaven. Specialists from New Carthage. Doctors overseas.” Nothing. Marcus lowered his head. “Nothing has worked.” Elias stared at him. “I know what people say about you,” Marcus continued. “I've seen what you can do. You saved Silas Rourke after he was stabbed six times. You healed a man whose spine doctors said was beyond repair.” His eyes filled with desperation. “They call you the Saint of Blackstone.” “I don't care what they call me.” “I know.” Marcus clenched his fists. “That's why I'm asking you as a father.” He bowed his head. “Please save my daughter.” The corridor became completely silent. Elias stepped closer. “Why should I?” Marcus looked up. “You run this prison. You decide who suffers. You decide who gets punished and who gets left behind.” His voice remained calm. “And now you want me to save someone you love.” “She has nothing to do with this place.” “Neither did many of the people you've allowed to suffer.” Marcus had no answer. For several seconds, the two men stared at each other. Then Marcus whispered: “Because she's my daughter.” His voice broke. “And I'm begging you.” Elias looked at him for a long moment. Then he turned toward his cell. “Bring her here tomorrow.” Marcus's head snapped up. “You'll help?” Elias stopped at the doorway. “I said bring her here.” He glanced over his shoulder. “Whether I can help her is something I'll decide after I see her.” Marcus nodded quickly. “Thank you.” “Don't thank me yet.” Elias stepped inside. Then he looked back. “And Warden?” “Yes?” Elias's gray eyes turned cold. “If you're lying to me…” He paused. “You'll wish your daughter was the only thing you had to worry about.” The cell door closed. Click. Marcus remained on his knees. For the first time in eleven years, the Warden of Blackstone understood the truth. He hadn't come to ask an inmate for help. He had come to ask the King.Expand

“Elias!”Lily’s voice tore through the smoke. She was reaching for him, stretching her small fingers toward him, her face wet with tears and her eyes wide with terror.“Elias, help me!”He was running toward her.He was always running toward her.But hands suddenly grabbed him from behind. Thick, rough hands seized his arms and yanked him backward. The Prison King Returns A Letter from Zucker
Zia dismissed the thought almost as quickly as it had formed.Celestial Realm.Impossible.She had spent fifteen years inside Azure, surrounded by some of the most gifted warriors in Greyhaven. She understood better than most what it took to reach the upper levels of cultivation. Dragon Lord alone required decades of disciplined training, refined technique, and a natural affinity for Aether that perhaps one in ten thousand people possessed. The Celestial Realm was something else entirely. In all of Azure’s thirty-year history, only one person had ever stood at that level.Master Zucker. And even he had taken a lifetime to reach it.Elias Crowe was barely twenty-five. He had spent the last ten years inside Blackstone Penitentiary. No matter how gifted he was, no matter what Zucker had taught him behind those walls, the idea that he had reached the Celestial Realm was simply…Ridiculous.Zia shook her head slightly.Don’t be ridiculous. He was confident. Perhaps genuinely strong. But co

The Prison King Returns Elder Chad Bozeman
That was it. The final spark.Chad slammed his palm onto the obsidian table.BOOM!The massive slab cracked instantly, fractures racing like lightning across the polished surface before the entire table shattered into pieces. A violent purple aura erupted around him, swirling like a storm as the temperature in the chamber suddenly dropped. Even the air seemed to distort beneath the pressure.Several weaker attendants near the walls staggered backward, gasping for breath.Zia’s heart pounded. She was only at the Sovereign level. If a Dragon Lord like Chad fully unleashed his strength, she wouldn’t last a second trying to intervene. Almost no one in the chamber could stop him if he truly lost control.Except the other elders.Otherwise… Elias might actually die here.“That’s it!” Chad roared, stepping forward. “You’re going to die today!”He clenched his fist. The purple aura surrounding his body rapidly condensed around his arm, gathering into a dense vortex of destructive energy. This

The Prison King Returns An Arrogant Heir
The moment Elias stepped fully into the chamber, he felt the pressure. The air itself seemed heavier around the long obsidian table.Twelve elders.Twelve powerful figures whose auras remained restrained, yet still radiated an intimidating sense of dominance.Elias’s senses sharpened instinctively.Every one of them was at least at the Dragon Lord level, a realm immediately beneath the Celestial Realm. In the world of martial cultivation, strength was divided into distinct realms: Sentinel, Regent, Sovereign, Dragon Lord, Celestial, Primordial, and Apex Primordial.Elias had only recently entered the Celestial Realm.Yet the twelve people sitting before him were monsters in their own right.Their eyes moved over him, and disappointment quickly surfaced.“A young man?” one elder muttered.“Is this some kind of joke?”Quiet murmurs spread around the table.A heavyset man with streaks of silver in his hair leaned forward. His expression carried open hostility. His name was Chad Bozeman.
