Self Destruct

"Nancy!" The captain shouted as he ran to her location but when he arrived, he saw the creature clutching her by the neck as it raised her to the skies.

"I can feel your fear, it feeds me" The creature said with a grin as it grinned at the head scientist which revealed it's sharp teeth which gleamed in the light.

"Drop her, now or I will open fire" The captain said as he aimed his gun at the creature's head.

"Hahaha, love is a very cruel feeling, it tricks into feeling that you have found something to live for and then at a crucial time crush that dream" The creature said with a chuckle as he brought her close to his face and licked her face with it's slithering tongue.

"I said release her" The captain said with anger as he pointed his gun at the creature threateningly.

"Do you think your earthly weapons have an effect on me mortal, don't make me laugh, killing you is as easy as raising my arm, if you think I'm lying ask them" The creature said as it pointed behind the captain.

"What the.." The captain said with shock as he glanced behind him only to meet all his men as zombies.

"When did you.." The captain said as he aimed at his men.

"This world is mine for the taking, you are all pawns in my game, hahaha, kill him, I would like to enjoy my meal" The creature said with a wave of his hand as he sunk his teeth into the head scientist's neck.

"Nooo" The captain screamed as he opened fire on the creature who moved out of the way, whilst the captain battled his former teammates.

The sound of bullets spraying rang out as the captain tearfully sprayed his squad with bullets, as he did he felt his heart ache after remembering all the memories they had spent together.

"Fr..ank..run..r.u.n..." The head scientist managed to mutter as the creature drained the blood in her.

"Nancy.." As the captain said this scene, he glanced back at his squad then gritted his teeth then ran out saying "I'm sorry"

As he ran out of the room, he pushed the lockdown button for the room as the titanium doors closed locking them inside.

"This is all my fault..I shouldn't have opened the coffin" The captain said sorrowfully as he fell on his knees, he glanced at the dead zombies that were lying on the ground and screamed in pain.

"This is my fault so I have to take care of it" He said with resolution as he walked to the body of a dead soldier and took his two handguns, a knife and an assult rifle not forgetting to also take some clips.

"I have to get a distress signal out, whatever we released must not get out" The captain said as he walked to the wall and tore off a map and observed it.

"Okay so the control room is over here, but first I have to get Mr Kurt" He said as he folded the map and placed it in his pockets before grabbing on the assult rifle while walking through the facility.

The sound of a gun could be heard as a figure could be seen rushing through the facility while gunning down any zombie he saw.

"Finally, I'm here" The captain panted as he walked over to a door and imputed a pin which opened it.

"Holy shit, what the fuck happened here" The captain said with shock as he walked into the room only to find it filled with dead bodies, the walls and tables were lined with blood, it was like a fierce battle had happened in here.

"What happened in he..." He suddenly heard a bang which caused him to turn quickly and aim at the location where he had heard the sound.

"Mr Kurt..is that you" The captain said as he slowly walked towards the wardrobe where the banging sound was coming from.

"Mr Kurt" The captain said as he grabbed onto the knob and yanked it before immediately moving backwards while aiming his gun at the wardrobe.

"What, a doll" The captain said with a frown as he stared at the doll which was whacking to head on the door, but at this moment a figure stood up from the floor behind him while he was staring at the doll.

ROARRR

"Shit" The captain said as he turned but in the process of turning, he tripped over a body and fell on his back, this caused the zombie to jump on him as it tried to bite him, seeing this, he stuck the gun in its mouth, headbutted it and drew a handgun from his knee and aimed at the zombie's head.

"Adios amigo" He said as he pulled the trigger.

"Shit, that was scary, oh fuck" He said as he saw several bodies standing up from the ground.

"Well, at least I'm not gonna die here" He said with a smile as he pulled out the second handgun.

Two bodies fell to the ground as the others rushed towards him, he immediately shot the nearest one and whacked the next with the butt of the gun while also shooting two more, then he rolled to the side escaping a zombie's bite before shooting the zombie.

He then stood up and turned suddenly, before jamming the nozzle of the gun into the mouth a a zombie behind him.

"See you on the other side" He said before pulling the trigger.

After killing it, he ran towards the wall as several zombies followed him, when he got closer to the wall, he walked two steps on it before jumping back, successfully evading the zombie's which ran and slammed their heads onto it stupidly.

He quickly shot them and turned to face the last two, he pressed the trigger but then realized that the clips were empty, in the heat of the battle, he had forgotten to count the bullets he had used.

Realizing this, he threw the guns onto the ground, drew a knife then threw it at the first zombie, it landed straight on its forehead, killing it immediately, he then picked up a book and ran towards the second zombie, jammed it into its mouth, drew out the knife from the first zombie's head and stabbed it three times in it's head, which killed it.

"Whew, that was exhausting but I can't rest now, I still have work to do" He said while catching his breath as he reloaded his guns, wiped the blood off the knife then walked out.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't protect you Mr Kurt" He said with a sigh as he left.

After several tiring minutes of killing zombies, he finally arrived at the control room, but was now faced with a new hurdle, the password monitor was broken.

"Why does this shit happen at the worst times" He said with a groan as he tried to think of a way to get in.

"Or should I break the door" He thought as he turned and sat down on the ground with his back to the door, as he was thinking, he suddenly caught sight of a huge shadow coming from the corner which caused him to get up in alarm.

"Shit, I don't have the energy to fight that thing, I have to get in, I guess that's the only way" He said as he went backwards and slammed himself onto the door, which didn't do anything, he tried it several times more but it didn't do anything and the shadow was getting closer, as he glanced around to see if there was any other way, he glanced up.

"Bingo" He said as he performed a wall jump and climbed into the....and walked through it to the control room, before he jumped down, he first observed the situation first, he was relieved to find that there was no one there.

"Whew, now to get the message out" He said as he jumped down and walked towards the controls center.

He pressed a series of buttons which derived a beeping sound from the machine as he picked up microphone and brought it closer to his mouth.

"Um, this is Sergeant Frank speaking over, to any nearby vessel, if you are listening to me at this moment please get this message to the US army, I sergeant Frank would like to request an air drop on my location immediately, we accidentally freed something which I can only describe as terrifying and dangerous, it should be regarded as a level 5 red threat, it massacred a whole high level facility in minutes, I managed to hinder it's movements but it will only hold for at most half hour, I would like to apologize to the family of any of the staff working in our facility and If you are listening to this, Karen, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you most of your life, I apologize for it, Sergeant Frank over" The captain said as he sent the message, he then sat down and grabbed his hair.

"What have I done" He said with a sigh as he took out a hand gun and stared at it, he was left with the last bullet, he aimed at his head and placed his hand on the trigger but at that moment.

A very loud banging sound echoed as the control room door gradually shook which caused him to stand up but as he did, the door flew and whacked him which caused his head to hit the edge of the control centre, he immediately started bleeding, but he managed to stand up even though his vision was blurry.

"Hello Frank" A ghastly voice sounded as the captain struggled to remain conscious while trying to see the face of whoever was talking but all he could see was a faint figure of a monster with wings.

"Who are you?" The captain asked.

"Have you forgotten me so suddenly?" The figure asked in a familiar voice.

"Wait, Mr Kurt, is that you" The captain said with shock as his vision gradually became steady.

"Yes it is, you are shocked right, this is what you get when you follow prometheus, you will gain unfathomable power" Mr Kurt said with a terrifying grin.

"What have you become, do not be blinded by power, that being is dangerous, too dangerous to underestimate, we have to destroy it" The captain said to Mr Kurt who shook his head.

"The world is about to change and it's up to you to change with it, will you follow me or die?" Mr Kurt asked with a smile.

"I'd rather die than be subject to such an abomination" The captain said as he drew his gun and pointed it at the creature but before he could press the trigger, a large tail suddenly whacked him to the side.

"It's a pity you refuse to see the truth, you would have been a powerful ally to Prometheus, so die" The creature said as it swung its tail at the captain who rolled away, stood up and pointed his gun at the creature and fired.

"Hahaha, you missed" The creature said with a smile.

"Actually I wasn't aiming for you" The captain said with a grin as he pointed at the speakers.

[Self-destruct sequence activated, facility will self-destruct in T-, 10,9...]

A robotic voice sounded throughout the whole facility as the creature frowned and picked up the captain with his tail.

"You will regret doing that" The creature said with anger.

"Hehehehe.." The captain laughed as he stared at the creature.

"Why are you laughing?" The creature asked.

"You just reminded me of a horror movie" The captain said with a grin.

ROARRR

"Say hello to my little friends you ugly bastard" The captain said as he jammed several grenades into the mouth of the creature and performed a jumpkick, which pushed some distance away from the creature.

BOOM

"Arrg, is it dead?" The captain said as he stared at the headless corpse of the creature.

"Serves you right you backstabbing piece of shit" The captain said with a smile as he turned towards the door.

"Oh shit" The captain cursed as he turned and saw several creatures rushing to his location.

[2..1..0]

BOOOOM

A large boom sounded as the facility started exploding part by part until it reached the control room.

"I'm going out with a smile, I wonder how heaven looks.." The captain said weakly as he tore off his dog tag before he fell to the ground unconscious, he had lost too much blood and at that same moment, the control room went up in flames.

"Hmm, let's go cause some confusion, hahahaha" Prometheus said as he flapped his wings and flew away with several creatures, leaving behind the destroyed facility.

Several minutes later as everything was quiet, among the rubble a burnt hand suddenly shot out, in it's palm was a dog tag.
